Al is one of the best instructors at Club Pilates in Wake Forest. His classes are always varied and his instructions are very clear. He helps you get the most benefit from your workout. Al taught my free introductory session and afterwards I joined immediately. That was almost three years ago. Give Club Pilates, WF a call for a free introductory session with Al. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful studio. First time, trial visit for me. I was greeted upon entering the establishment, but when I went into the studio I stood there for an uncomfortable amount of time before anyone spoke to me. I wasn’t going to interrupt their conversation, but also - the instructor could have turned and said something or gestured to a place I could make myself comfortable. When she finally did, she was nice but immediately forgot my name. There were only three of us at the time. The equipment is new and pretty. The instructor rushed us through several exercises but the session wasn’t full length, so not a full workout, which is fine. It would have been nice to feel the effects of a full workout. Overall, I’m not parting with NY money at $260/mo to wipe down the equipment myself. I wish them luck.

Ashley was knowledgeable and did a great job introducing Pilates to someone who’s never done it and whose fitness was not the best. Both her and Sandra were knowledgeable and explained a membership, but there was no Pressure applied to make you feel like he needed to join and if you were going to join to get the most expensive one

Took an intro class today with a friend and absolutely loved it. The class was very small, so we got to be pretty one-on-one with the instructor. Albert was very patient. The front desk lady (I can’t think of her name) was also very informative and wasn’t pushing us to buy a membership today if we still had other concerns. Overall, a great place if you’re looking to start/continue your fitness journey!

Albert was an Alwsome instructor, he allowed enough time to teach and walk us through how to use the equipment and how to use proper form, while doing the exercises. Compassionate enough to take the time to find out if we had limitations do to potential medical issues, instead of assuming that we are lazy or not willing to put in the effort, which is the attitude people get at a lot of gyms, or places with instructors that treat their customers like they are going through hell weak in the military. Looks like when all is well it’s good. I was told by my doctor I have some skeletal damage in my neck. Going to acupuncture, PT, chiropractor. Put my classes on hold. Still not able to return, they took my monthly fees out after 3 months and I couldn’t attend I’m still getting treatment. So I called and canceled and was told I have to give thirty day notice it is April 9, and they are going to take money on April 25. No how are you, is your neck better?

I’ve been coming to Club Pilates Wake Forest for over 6 months between 2-3 times per week and I am obsessed. I take classes with Julianna, Ashley, and Michelle every week at varying difficulties and every class is different, fun, and super challenging BUT not in a way that exhausts me but actually invigorates me for the rest of the day!! Highly highly recommend the unlimited package if you can swing it because the waitlist is kind of a nightmare for me and my type A people or anyone with a strict schedule 🤪
I feel SO much stronger than I did 6 months ago, and can even hold side planks which I never thought I’d be able to do. There’s no judgement or negative pressure in classes and the instructors are encouraging, knowledgeable, and creative in delivering a great fitness experience. I’ve never felt like I couldn’t take a break or adjust my workout down if I needed to, but always feel encouraged by my instructors to push myself a little further each time because they give so many great options to add a little challenge to every move! The team at the front desk (Sandra, Kim, Payton) has been welcoming and accommodating, plus the facilities are always sparkling clean and working well.
Overall it’s just a really welcoming and accessible place to build energy-increasing exercise into your lifestyle.

Julianna's Pilates class was absolutely excellent! The workout challenged me in all the right ways, pushing me just beyond my comfort zone while still feeling completely supported. Best workout, love the classes! Downside, can't get booked into classes unless your schedule allows you to book pretty far out. The rigid scheduling and difficulty of getting into classes made it to where I couldn't get my money's worth of classes I was paying for each month, so I had to cancel I had 8 classes left due to a knee injury and they told me I had to use them in 30 days from date of cancel, I was not able to get into but 1 class and I was waitlisted for it and found out one day before I got in, so I ended up having to forfeit 7 classes of which I paid for because I could not get scheduled in within the 30 days. I called the staff is usually always very nice but they just said there was nothing they could do for me and goodbye.

Did not get my money's worth, expensive. Classes are always full. Staff was nice, but they really need to improve on giving everyone a fair shot at classes. They tell you after you sign up to make sure you remember to go on and book all of your classes on the 10th for the month. Well good luck with that. I think they don't have the equipment compared to memberships to give everyone a fair shot at getting their monies worth. I will not rejoin.

Today’s class was a level 2, and Al’s class gave the right level of challenge and introduced new moves that I had never done before. He keeps the class engaged and provides a lot of guidance to ensure we are executing the movements right. I take a lot of classes with him and highly recommend them.
