I have had a great experience at Core Results. I was new to personal training as previously I had only gone to the "Y" and had some one-on-one yoga sessions. I had let myself get weak and out of shape d/t some orthopaedic surgeries and was ready to get back on top of that and regain my strength. Jon K is the perfect fit for me. He is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and has a good sense of humor to keep things light when needed! He focuses a lot of attention on your form - mainly so you are doing exercises safely and also, so you get the most benefit from the exercise. He tailors each workout session to meet you where you are. When I was recovering from a back injury, he readjusted my program so I could keep training but not cause any stress to my back. He has provided a wealth of nutritional information and encourages good nutrition as part of training. I still have a way to go to reach my personal goals but I have no doubt he will help me get there. I can't say enough good things about Core Results and Jon K!

I switched to Core Results and started working with Jon K because I needed the accountability and expertise to hit my fitness goals—and it has been the best decision! The gym itself is fantastic; it's always clean, has a friendly atmosphere, and the location is great for my schedule.
Jon K. is an incredibly dedicated and knowledgeable trainer who makes every session count. He consistently challenges me to do more than I think I can, but always with a focus on proper form. When I had an ankle injury, he expertly modified my routine to keep me moving and focused on a safe recovery without losing my gains.
If you are serious about transforming your fitness, reaching your goals, and working with a trainer who genuinely cares and has the knowledge to back it up, I highly recommend! Jon and Core Results.

After trying a number of personal trainers out of other gyms in the area, I found Core Results. Top notch staff who really knows what they are talking about how to set up an individualized program for each client. I can highly recommend Cal, Caroline, and Jeremy as top notch trainers. It's a very welcoming place for people of all fitness levels and ages, the equipment is well maintained, and it's even conveniently located if you need to grab food or groceries after your workout.

If you're looking for a more customized program with a personal trainer, Core Results is your place! Truly, could not be better. I took the initiative to call Core Results after getting a bone density scan that showed a small but obvious aging risk. Quick, friendly response from the owner included an assessment of my goals and personality. Matched me with Cal…and it’s been a behavior altering experience.
I kiddingly call Cal “Yoda” at this point as he challenges my legacy thoughts about nutrition, the science behind exercise and strength training, and he pushes me to give the most I have in me to get results.
It’s a push every session and it’s challenging but possible. Cal is all about balancing the next weight/more reps with injury protection.
It’s also fun. We talk, and Cal listens and re-explains the nuance of certain moves…and he laughs with me and cheers with me when I exceed a target. He is motivating and supportive…and focused.
And I am stronger. And healthier. And just more aware of how much impact a few sessions a week can have on my life.

I worked with Emily at Core Results for a targeted 12-session course. I started as someone who had never lifted and wasn’t familiar with a lot of gym equipment. I ended my sessions with the competence to safely use and adjust all provided gym equipment, a lot more strength, and a lot more knowledge. Emily provided targeted feedback that really helped me build a gym habit. She is extremely knowledgeable, motivating, and personable - I would strongly recommend her as a trainer. Carolina at Core Results has been incredible and helping me accomplish all of my fitness goals. I first went to her hoping to improve on my strength in general. I suffer from fibromyalgia and going to her was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. We met up twice a week for half an hour sessions and over the course of six months I’ve drastically improved my strength and energy level. Training with Marcus Davis at Core Results has been a total game changer. At 50 years old, I’m working toward feeling the strongest I’ve ever felt—and I owe that to Marcus and his MMA training.
He doesn’t just push you physically—he teaches you how to use your strength with purpose. The way he breaks down the theory behind fighting makes every session not only empowering but incredibly engaging.

Owner Aaron took the time to speak with me at length to understand what my goals were and understand my challenge with ongoing shoulder pain and then recommended the perfect trainer for me, and that was Jon K. I can’t say enough about Jon K, he has helped me tremendously! Jon K developed a program specifically for me geared towards what my goals and needs were. I was looking for a personal trainer to teach me how to lift weights properly so I can prevent lower back injury and to get stronger as I work a very sedentary job.
Jon K has been a great resource for me. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable in the proper lifting technique and repository of exercises, but is very personable and has helped build a program that addresses my specific weaknesses. He also is mindful to prepare me for success in my personal hobbies that include physical activity / lifting heavy objects like pottery.
Since my time working with Jon K at Core Results I’ve been able to lose some fat around my core section and feel stronger. I have also experienced less lower back pain, if at all, since beginning the programming with Jon K. He is very attentive during our sessions and makes adjustments so I can avoid injuring myself.
I would highly recommend Jon K to anyone looking to improve their fitness and strength.

Core Results, is a hidden gem/gym in Cary.
The results I’ve seen from working with my personal trainer, Cal, have been amazing.
First he recognized a weak hip, from an accident I had earlier. Worked out a training schedule with focus on that area, and hip is now strong, with no pain.
Training is person specific, as well as nutrition advice. Gym is well equipped, clean with a very positive attitude.
Have seen many changes to my physique and strength.

My only regret was not making the call sooner, Cal probably saved my life. I've tried and failed with weight loss many times in the past like most people but nothing stuck even close to the plan Cal set up with me. I had a bilateral hernia in my lower back that had to be surgically removed in 2022. I was afraid to get back into strength training on my own in case any bad form caused me to reinjure. I was finally tired of feeling like crap all the time and contacted Core Results to get back into regular workouts with a trainer to help keep an eye on my form with my previous medical history in mind. Cal has been nothing short of amazing - he's personable, knowledgeable, encouraging, realistic about where to start with a client, and consistently checks in to make sure none of the moves are potentially causing injury. I feel safe doing the workouts knowing that he's "got my back." :) This is the first time I've ever actually looked forward to going to the gym. 4 weeks in and I'm down 5 lbs, but I'm more excited about finally being able to sneeze without back pain! After allowing myself to get out of shape, I wanted to find a trainer that would allow me to purchase a small amount of sessions to get me back on track and correct any form issues I was having while exercising. I contacted, Core Results, and Aaron got back to me. He set me up with, Corey, the male, since there is a female Cory there as well, see the different name spellings?! I cannot say enough good things about Corey and the whole experience at Core Results! I am progressing in getting stronger after only 3 sessions. Corey is very observant when I am exercising in order to make sure my form is good, he has a great personality, knowledgeable, and he knows how to think fast to adjust exercises on the fly! All I can say is, give Corey at Core Results a try!

I was a basketball player and an avid bike rider three years ago. I let myself go physically and mentally.
One day I was eating lunch in Cary and right next door was Core Results Fitness. I emailed them and in 24 hours someone had contacted me and set me up with a consult. I lucked up and was assigned to work with Marcus "The Irish Hand-Grenade" Davis (MMA superstar)! They started me out by benchmarking my bench press, wall sit, etc. The equipment, weights, and training space is perfect. I have never been at Core Results in Cary where there were more than 4 trainers on site, giving you plenty of room to workout.
Marcus is a motivator and he moves me at a pace that forces me push myself, but knows my limits. At my benchmarking, I could bench 135lbs without assistance. At my 12th week, I was able to bench 225lbs without assistance and 235 with just a little help. These folks get the best out of you. I feel better and look forward to every workout. I owe Core Results my gratitude and my man Marcus my respect for his patience and dedication to my training. Today marks my 52 session and I plan to renew for 52 more. If you are looking to get in shape, but can't motivate yourself to get there; Core Results is the place to go!

Core Results has been a great experience for me. After consecutive years of doing HIIT training, running and biking, I wanted to switch to a less cardio-intensive workout and focus on core and strength training. Aaron (owner) paired me with Jacob, who is an incredible trainer. He is energetic, always prepared, and is a tremendous resource for all things health - from nutrition to the importance of sleep to health trends....you name it, he has it covered. Over the several months I trained with Jacob, I was able to increase weightlifting in all areas while improving form. I've been working with Corey for about a season now, and I must say that Corey had been patient with me and accommodating every step of the way.
I'm a big woman, and my goal was hopefully to lose weight. I have several health quizzicals that have been hampering me, but i was diligent and determined to push through. Though my weight loss goals weren't met I realized that I was getting stronger, and my voluptuousness increased on the back end. My balance improved, my metrics (step test, etc) improved. I learned more about where my strength lie.
I highly, highly, highly recommend Corey for those who are looking to get stronger and educated about their fitness.

Jacob is an outstanding trainer. He’s very high energy, so I can’t help but be motivated when I get to my workout. Andrew at Core Results Cary is awesome! He made me comfortable at the gym even though I rarely worked out before. He designs a work out regime catered to you and your goals. He explains exactly why you’re doing a certain workout and what muscles you’re building. He’s also flexible with scheduling. The gym itself is clean and not super busy or loud like public gyms. Overall I would highly recommend Core Results and Andrew!

My wife and I have been wowed by Khris Francis now since the beginning of the year. We've had SUCH a great experience! He is so knowledgeable and makes each work out challenging and personalized around your goals. The numbers do not lie, we have much stronger I've become over the last year! I can't say enough good things about Khris and the experience I've had with him, as well as the experience overall at the gym. The gym is very clean and they have lots of different equipment for all types of workouts. However, Khris does not need equipment, he can make a body workout crazy challenging. The facility is located in a shopping complex which is great! Parking is everywhere and easy to get in an out. Cafe and grocery store is nearby for post workout.

Core Results is a wonderful place to get one-on-one help in getting into better shape. I am working with Rob - he is patient, motivating and always very well prepared with new and interesting exercises for each session. He does a good job of pushing you up to your limits without it being torturous. I enjoy each session with him, and really look forward to the next one.
I cannot recommend Core Results more highly, especially if you are just starting (or re-starting after a long break) on the path to getting fitter and stronger.
The facility in Cary is great for this type of training. For me, good showering facilities were critical, as I need to leave directly to work after my session.
All round great experience every time - I always leave feeling great for the rest of the day!

I've been going here for almost a year now with Khris as my trainer. I think this is probably the first gym (whether it's yoga, group classes, generic gym) that I've stuck with for more than a few months and the first one I do not want to skip a session on. Khris is fun, upbeat, hardworking and works at your pace while still pushing you so you're always making progress. Even in areas you didn't think to make progress in. I went from being able to do half a pushup to 20. You can tell he cares a lot about keeping the gym clean as well. The trainers all clean the equipment between each use, and everyone wears masks. It's almost always just you and the trainer. I highly recommend personal training and Khris here.

Working with Khris since lockdown in April 2020 when gyms closed. He got me going again and I’ve stuck with Core because they are helping me work on strength, which is better than pre-lockdown. I was hesitant when I started looking for a place that was Covid-safe, professional, effective, and personal. I found all of these and more at Core Results. My first contact was with the owner, Josh. He was thorough and personable, and patiently answered my questions. He let me know I wouldn't be in an intimidating environment and that I would in fact be training one-on-one with no-one else in the gym.
I train with Aaron Hosking 3 times a week for an hour each time. We hit it off from the start and it didn't take me long to realize that he knows what he's doing. He has designed a course of exercises specific to my needs and is extremely knowledgeable about the body and corresponding exercises. He continuously changes up the exercises so I never get bored, which is really important to me. HE FOCUSES ON INJURY PREVENTION by making sure I'm using the proper form to get the most out of my workouts without over-extending myself.

Core Results in Cary is a fantastic place to train. Rendrick (my trainer) and Josh (owner) have been extremely knowledgeable and supportive. The facility is well maintained, and there is always great music playing in the background. I train twice weekly and I have noticed major changes in my fitness: strength (increased my bench by 50# in two months), flexibility, weight loss, and endurance. Rendrick has a different workout for me every session, and he provides me with cardio and strength training workouts to do during my days away from the gym. Core Results has something for every level of athlete – from the beginner looking to gain some knowledge, to the elite athlete looking to focus on a specific goal – you will find what you need at Core Results. This place is amazing and the employees even better. Aaron (my trainer) and Josh (the owner) have been so patient and fun to work with. And most importantly, the results are real!! So far I've lost all of my baby weight and then some (15# so far, not including the baby;)). Additionally, my muscle strength and definition has improved dramatically.
The only thing thing that needs improvement is Aaron's taste and knowledge of music ;) (only kidding).

I have been training with Rendrick all summer and could not have had a better experience. My goal was to put on at least 15 pounds of muscle, increase all of my maxes, and become overall stronger to prepare for my junior year of division one lacrosse. I train with Rachel at the Cary location and she has helped me develop a well rounded workout that incorporates many different movements and strength building exercises. I have worked out before in stages but it was mostly benching, pullups, all of the traditional exercises. I needed something that was going to get my body used to different movements, build in more lower body and core and that is exactly what Core Results has done for me. The owner keeps the facility very clean. I highly recommend giving Core Results a try.

Rendrick is an amazing trainer! I chose the smaller package of 30 minute sessions and even those had me feeling exhausted because we used every second of that time. He was able to create workout routines and sessions that worked out every muscle, specifically targeting my goals. I was able to tell him what I wanted to focus on, and I’m much more confident and energized when I go to the gym on my own. He showed me how to squat with good form, how to do assisted pull-ups until Im strong enough to do it on my own, and gave me workouts that I incorporate into my schedule now. I like the testing they do during the initial training, and I love how tailored everything is. Once my sessions are over I plan to sign up for more if my schedule allows.

We are very happy with Core Results and highly recommend getting started here. The owner is very responsive and hires very experienced trainers. We train with Rachel who focuses on pain management, building strength, and mobility. She is reliable and has introduced us to many new training ideas and we appreciate the results we've gotten training with her. We originally thought we might just train 3 months to get back to our previous strength training routine, but quickly realized how valuable Rachel's training was and plan to stay long term. I had such a great experience with Josh at Core Results. I was looking for some strengthening and stabilizing exercises as well as form correction for the exercises I knew I was doing wrong. Josh taught me proper form as well as proper warm up and sequencing to develop a full body workout routine, and provided me with reference materials so that I can keep doing these exercises at home or at the gym. I recently started with Core Results after seeing the new Cary location open. I did some research and based on the great reviews from the Raleigh location decided to give it a try. I have to say, it's been a great decision. The space is tucked within a series of businesses in an easily accessible part of Cary and has ample, open space to work out inside. Ive been working w my trainer, Josh, for a little over 3 months and I've already seen results with appearance and with my strength.
