I have been seeing John after a stroke and long term bed rest - his understanding of his craft is just unbelievable he is extremely laid back and I can’t help but want to de better every session - I truly believe if you could bottle him and sell it it would be worth billions - I just cannot say enough - I believe this was the best decision to reach out to him for my health I could have ever made - very clean, sophisticated gear and knowledge very much a professional guy and shop

John has been working with our 13 yo son for a few months. He is very intuitive and knowledgeable about so much with kids bodies. When working with our son, he notices everything and is able to pivot on exercises to get them corrected in a safe and effective way. I highly recommend John at Dynamic Performance Fitness. He is incredibly personable and understanding, no matter what your fitness goals may be. I'm a 27-year-old female who has been in and out of the gym my entire life, I often found myself either underworking or overworking my body, which led to constant injuries. I was looking for someone who could not only motivate me but also teach me how to improve my fitness effectively.

Initially, I was nervous that my goal of simply strengthening my body wouldn’t be enough to warrant John’s time, but I was SO wrong! From day one, he has worked closely with me to define my goals and ensures that our workouts are tailored to what I can handle. He takes the time to explain how muscles work, so you gain the knowledge to better yourself. I always chuckle at how quickly the session time flies by because working with John is so enjoyable and fun!

John genuinely cares about his clients and puts sincere effort into every session. Since I started working with him, I’ve gained more confidence in myself in everyday life. Highly recommend! We started working with John Wheeler with Dynamic Performance Fitness in the fall of 2023 to help my son, who plays basketball, improve his jump height, agility, and speed. Not only has my son seen improvements in these areas, but he has also gained so much more from John's training.

John has played a significant role in boosting my son's confidence. My son has been dealing with ankle issues due to pronated feet since becoming an athlete, and John has helped rehabilitate him to perform better. Through John's guidance, my son has learned various techniques and exercises he can do at home, and he is now much more conscious about his nutrition.

One of the most impressive aspects of John's training is his ability to identify and address issues that we were not even aware of, such as my son's winging scapula. John has helped realign it, contributing greatly to my son's overall performance and well-being.

When I got with John, I was in a very rough place. I was diagnosed with a permanent back injury that could have required a major back surgery. In a time where finding help was hard to come by, John very much saved me. His own experience with being a disabled vet and using corrective exercises to build strength and flexibility in weak points of my body allowed me to be in control of my own body and not only be pain free but start my own journey in fitness. John went above and beyond is a great mentor and coach.

Truly amazing trainer who educates the person as the session progresses to make sure they understand what they are working and why. My HS athlete has been training with him for a few months now and we already see improvements all around. He truly invests himself in his clients whole heartedly.
