This gym is fantastic! There’s plenty of equipment to use and the staff does a great job at maintaining all of it. The facility's cleanliness is superb, even in high-traffic areas like the kid zone. The personal trainers are all knowledgeable, friendly, and wonderful to interact with, especially if you are new or seeking help with a fitness goal. I highly recommend this gym! Stay away. This business uses dishonest and unethical practices. They pressure customers into signing year long contracts on a screen that only show a place to sign and nothing else without clearly explaining the terms or duration or letting you read it before you sign it. They do not verbally disclose that you are committing to a long-term contract either, it seems like it is designed that way intentionally. When you attempt to cancel, they charge an excessive portion of the full annual fee.

Canceled my personal training with assistance from staff as it was confusing to cancel - they assured me repeatedly it was canceled and would not resume unless I specifically requested it. They not only resumed charging me TWO MONTHS after I cancelled (after I had confirmed it was no longer charging me and stopped checking the account), they refused to give me a refund even though they confirmed they could see i had not used a single session. I cannot believe people would be so scummy. I have never been lied to by a business this way and lost hundreds of dollars.

Great gym and nice staff. They keep the machines in pretty good shape or replace them when needed which is amazing. Also got a new water fountain that’s more convenient for those using a water bottle. This location is the best one in the surrounding areas.

This gym is a solid place to workout specially since it’s the only gym around the area. However the biggest down fall is the lack of communication with the kid center needs to be fixed. Please send a notification when the center is full or the wait is 30 minutes or longer. When arriving at the gym and being told the wait is over 30 minutes long it disturbs everything specially for individuals that have to drive from far distances.

Please, for the love of everyone's sanity, get a new water fountain. This one is gross. You can see bacteria growth around the water spout. I've never seen it cleaned once. The pressure is atrocious, and I doubt there is a filter as the water quality around Cameron is pretty awful it's probably not even safe to drink now that I think of it.
Pros: Really, the only gym in the area. Unless you go to a cross fit gym- which those can be pretty pricey.
This gym is reasonably priced.
Staff seem nice enough. They do try to push the person coaching, which I get they probably are incentives for them.
Gym has just about everything to get a good workout.
Cons: it's small. There is no area to stretch. The turf is small and smells a bit gross if you're stretching on it.
The room next to child care usually works to stretch unless there is a class, even with 1 person you're not allowed to use a corner🙄
The water fountain is less than desirable 🤢
I haven't seen the equipment cleaned once. The treadmills have a disturbing amount of dust build-up that I noticed haven't been wiped in at least a month.
Overall, as soon as I move, I'll be finding a different gym.

They offer free child care services and also great prices on personal trainers… I honestly never liked the gym better yet staying consistent but Maggie my personal trainer motivated me and helped me learn how to use all the equipment and step me up on a great plan to reach my goals!!

I signed up when they were doing a promo for buy 1 year get 1 free. I also did personal training for 1 year with Maggie. Maggie is amazing and the new fitness manager. The facility had a variety of machines and free weights. I was informed when my personal training was ending and the steps I needed to take to cancel so it wouldn't auto renew. Facility is frequently cleaned and the kidzone has been helpful when I need to take my kiddo with me.

Well let me start out with this gym is amazing !!!!! The staff is helpful and wonderful from front desk to kid zone. Honestly couldn’t be more happy they are always looking happy to help and cleanliness is at its finest. This gym is clean from workout floor to the bathrooms they couldn’t do any better looks like they always go above and beyond and it makes coming in to the gym easy because I know my kid can go into the kid zone and be happy and loves the staff that works there they are top notch. Pretty dirty. Bathroom is nasty, they don’t clean them.

Turf is just as gross after everyone walking on the soaking wet bathroom floors the onto the turf.

This place is THE WORST! In February(I believe it was) I went in and signed my husband up, they had a $1 enrollment deal going on and my husband was looking for a good 24 hr gym because his work schedule is crazy. So I signed him up so he could try it out. With all their fees it ended up being over $100 and the lady I spoke to told me that if it wasn't for him, he could cancel in the next 3 days for a FULL refund. When my husband got home, he told me he found a gym he liked better, so he went in to fit4life the next day to cancel. First, they told him his membership was canceled, but he probably wouldn't get the refund. The next month comes and my account is charged for the membership. My husband was busy with work so I went up there and they told me that they can't cancel in the facility and I have to call corporate to cancel. So I go home and try to look up a number for corporate and can't find anything. So I called the facility to see if they had a corporate number. They tell me that there is no corporate number and that I need to call the owner. They gave me the owners number, I called and got voice-mail. Never got a call back. Life gets busy, and as I waut for a call back I end up forgetting about it until I'm charged again the next month. I don't remember the exact order of the rest of events but but since then I've been charged every month, we've contacted them every month and have been told multiple times that the account has been canceled and one time that we needed to contact the billing company which we did and they also told us it's been canceled. But my biggest issue, the beginning of October I finally got tired of dealing with it and went into the bank to cancel my card and get a new one. I told them what was going on and they checked to see if they had access to my account info or if it was just the card. MY BANK TOLD ME THEY HAVE NO ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT! Just my card so getting a new one would fix the issue. 13th came around which is the day they charge me. I get a notification that their attempt to collect was declined. Im relieved. However I just checked my bank account and SOMEHOW they were able to get my new card info AND CHARGED ME!!! I will be filing fraud with my bank today and if this issue isn't resolved and fully refunded we will take it as far as necessary. My husband never set foot in that gym to workout yet they have taken nearly 500 dollars.

Editing to add. I called like the response told me to. Was finally able to speak to the GM. She got the membership canceled and refunded all of my money. With that being said, she did try to blame the issues on past management but that doesn't explain why, even after previous management, the issue persisted even though we had canceled multiple times with the new management. They did ask me to take down my review but I told them I would update it instead. If you cancel, take a picture of your paperwork and keep an eye on your account. If you continue to get charged, don't leave until you are able to speak to a manager.

These guys are a scam, the gym is nice but i was medically discharged from the army and canceled with them giving the orders in person. 2 years later im getting harrassed by thier billing saying i owe them $60 and have no record of me giving them the paperwork to cancel my membership. its to the point where i have to get my lawyer involved because of the harassment for $60!

Had a so so experience initially been a club member for almost a year now had a few hiccups and at first was very dissatisfied but I will say the leadership values shown by Emily has swayed me to stay a member and my satisfaction has improved. I would give this place a try because it is very relaxed environment and not as packed at other clubs in the region because of the area it’s in which makes for a nice workout to decompress without a large crowd. In addition if you find yourself to not like something that the club does or doesn’t offer Emily has shown great care and competence In consumer relations with her members at her Cameron club. I have no doubt that she is dedicated and commit to turning the tide of any deficiencies .ive been in dialogue with her over the course of the past few days and i can say her character and personable service is an ASSET TO fit4life.

If I could give zero stars I would ! This gym is terrible. I signed up in August of 2021 and paid $180 just to sign up with a mandatory 2 year contract . I PCS'd in December of 2023 and turned in my orders to their online company in October of 2023 due to the staff saying they couldn't accept it physically at the location . I signed up at the location sitting down with them and signed papers with them . I should have been able to cancel my membership on site at the location, but that wasn't the case . I turned in my orders online and I was told I still had to pay for the following month due to my orders saying December, but my contract ended in August and my last workout in the gym was in September which I paid through October. They still attempted to charge me for November and December and also charged me a $59 cleaning fee after all this . The payments only stopped because I requested a stop payment with my bank . They are still at the moment sending me monthly emails stating I owe them $109 and after speaking to their ownership no resolution. I will never signup for another Fit4Life anything ! Terrible customer service , bad business practices , and if you are Military it is a huge hassle to get out of your contract even after it expires and you PCS. I definitely do not recommend this business.

Not worth the hassle. They are extremely money hungry. They will say anything just for you to sign up. Extremely persistent and won’t take no for an answer. My fiancé tried saying no multiple times at her job but some people don’t like to be rude. They definitely know how to make people sign up especially if they’re in a rush. We’ve been trying to pay off our membership and cancel it for months and it’s been nothing but a run around even emailed the company on the app. They said when you are getting ready to move to provide proof or residence and etc. Emailed them multiple time and still haven’t gotten a response.. Still paying for a membership we don’t even use months later. I do not recommend too many issues with billing or trying to cancel.

The gym is fine enough, but it's not worth it to deal with getting out of their membership. When my husband and I were PCSing, we sent the orders and our marriage certificate over to show that we're moving. We knew these documents needed to be provided along with a 30 days notice, so we went ahead and did the legwork. They cancelled my husband's fine, but tried to tell me I was being put on a mandatory "courtesy hold" for a year IN CASE WE MOVED BACK. There would also be a $5 charge per month. Of course I told them this was unacceptable and so they backed off, but told me that the 30 days couldn't actually start until after my last payment... which then turns into 60 days.

I understand now why the managers are always trying to chase the 5 star reviews to hide their billing practices. It's so unfortunate because the gym itself is fine... but after my experience with their billing department I can't recommend anyone else joining.

Scummy business model. Cancelled my membership after 2 days. Employees would not be honest and upfront about the pricing and then surprised me a $70 charge while signing my contract. Initially agreed to play $35 a month and then got locked into a contract. Not sure if this is standard or just management, but it made me angry enough to cancel which even then wasn't an easy process. After about a month I got my refund. Do not trust these people, they will lie to you about what the actual cost of a membership is and then try and pressure you into a contract. Only caught the 3 day cancelation period because I actually read the contract, not that they would have mentioned that to me.

While this is a good gym, it has some cons! If you don’t want to be locked into a year contract do not join and please do not go through with their PT program. I would like to say that I’m very happy I found a gym with such great staff and childcare that goes above and beyond to ensure my little one feels safe and loved. Being a mom is not an easy task. We tend to put ourselves second or last and have no time for ourselves because it’s hard to trust our child to someone new. This gym, definitely striked gold with their childcare members. Absolute nightmare. Been paying for a gym membership here for almost a year after attempting to cancel the membership. Have yet to receive any of the paperwork to cancel the membership. Read the contract before signing up.

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM! The facility is nice and at first seems like a perfect fit for anybody. But when it comes to payments this is the worst place I’ve ever done business with. Never sign your name on anything at this place because they have it set up like you’re leasing an apartment. I had all these initial fees “waived” just for them to be charged back to my account. If you have an account there GET OUT FAST! If not then congratulations. Never felt more taken advantage of in my life.

its a good gym until you need to cancel your membership because you’ve moved, then they will find any reason to not let you cancel. so ive been gone from the state for months now and am still paying the monthly fee.
