My stars are mostly for the cleanliness of this location. I believe we all get charged a cleaning fee as members yet, machines are gross especially treadmills, while 3 are broke.

The floors are so filthy not sure how folks can sit on them. From the front to the back dirty and could smell nice. That’s why I stopped going to the Gillis hill location that was abysmal.

Just cause we go workout there shouldn’t mean it should smell like everyone’s sweaty efforts. Tons of dust under desk lol. At least I finally seen cleaning (only in the kids room). Thank goodness. I mean it we weren’t paying for the cleaning I could understand why it wouldn’t be improved upon to some extent.

Became a member when it first opened and it just kept going downhill. Extremely crowded. Too many machines consistently “under repair”. Was a massive pain to cancel membership. Locker room always smelled. Showers disgusting. Cleaning supplies rarely stocked to wipe down machines. Not a positive experience. Won’t be back.

I like the fit4life hopemills location. The restrooms have a consistent unpleasant smell but the gym area is almost always clean. Staff was friendly and the patrons were good people.

I used active and fit for my membership so i didn't have the same cancelation issues that other people had, where they get charged for an additional 2-4 months. (Then there was an issue between fit4life and active and fit at one point but I came back after it was resolved).

The gym i go to now has changed my outlook on memberships and I wish fit4life and other gyms copied it. There's a QR code on the front door and you can purchase: DAY MEMBERSHIP for 24 hours, monthly, quarterly, or annual. Sign the consent form and download the app to get inside. This would be super convenient for Soldiers that have family visiting for a few days who still want a decent lift at a 24 hour facility.

Overall, I was pleased with being a member and reccomend it to everyone else. Great gym community and a nice location.

I've been a member of Fit4Life for several years, and there have been some incredibly positive changes recently with the new management team. Taqouri, Nikki, and Jason seem to genuinely care about the members and are committed to making things right. They’ve been upfront, honest, and transparent in every interaction whether it's addressing past concerns or improving the overall experience! The gym feels more welcoming, better organized, and more focused on the needs of the community. I’m excited to see where things are headed, and I highly recommend giving Fit4Life another look if you haven't been in a while. Big kudos to the new leadership!

The gym is nice but they need to get their kid zone situation figured out. I know they’re short staffed but for the past few weeks I haven’t been able to get in because it’s either an hour wait, it’s closed or I’m only allotted a short timeframe to get a workout in because they have one employee working. It’s very frustrating driving all the way out here to just have to turn around.

Great gym and friendly staff, but the cancellation process is incredibly frustrating. Signing up took 5 minutes, but canceling was a nightmare. I requested to cancel my membership both in person and through the app in June, and was told I had to wait until the end of my contract in July. Then I was charged again for September and October because I supposedly didn’t respond to an email asking if I wanted to cancel my auto-renewal. Seriously? What part of “I would like to cancel my membership” was unclear—or required a customer to respond to 10 more emails? Terrible system

I had the worst trainer experience here, I paid for three months and my trainer would call out so many times that I guess our time limit was up so she had to ask the manager to put me back on the schedule. When she did show up she showed up later but would end our time as if she showed up on time. I would come to workout and she wouldn’t even be there. I had to call or text her so many times and she would say that she would just add me on another time. I was still supposed to have two or three more sessions and she has never put me back on.

This is the worst one I’ve been to out of all the ones in the Fayetteville area. I’m not sure what is going on maybe staffing issues but there is never any cleaning cloths available and then sometimes the paper towel dispenser is empty this happens often I usually go about 4 days a week. The cleaning bottles are never on the tables they are usually 2-3 left on the paper towel dispensers. They have one dispenser that is very wobbly and can easily fall over and hurt someone. There is weights left on the floor constantly ( not really staff fault but this should be picked up) and kettle bells on the floor in front of racks. The way the gym is kept is disappointing and the only reason I still attend is because it’s 5 min from my house. My favorite is the Gillis Hill gym is always cleaned and stocked, and the employees are nice and helpful. I really debated on leaving this review but it just needs to be said.

Lots of energy at this gym to feed off of and get a good workout in. Facility and equipment is new as of the time of this review so everything was well maintained and in good working order. Staff was professional and upbeat, but sometimes hard to find on the rare occasion you need them. The layout was open with a couple of rooms for group exercise in the back of the facility. Good balance of weights, machines, and cardio equipment. Plenty of sanitizing equipment placed throughout the gym. Restrooms and locker areas were clean. I wish there was a dedicated area to stretch and do floor exercises. It's the first gym I've been to without a key rack as well.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’m really disappointed. I just moved here and joined this gym because their website mentioned a sauna and infrared therapy. The staff was friendly, but when I asked about infrared therapy, they had no idea what I was talking about. Not a huge deal—but then I actually started using the gym.

I’m not exaggerating—every piece of equipment I used was either dirty or broken. How does a new facility look this run-down? The stairmasters were either out of order or covered in garbage and crumbs. The cable attachments were falling apart. Then I went to check out the sauna and… y’all. What in the world?! It looked like it had never been cleaned. I can only pray I don’t catch gonasyphaherpalaids.

I figured I’d rinse off in the showers before leaving, but they smelled like urine. At that point, I just packed up and left.

With the maintenance fees they charge, there’s absolutely no excuse for the gym to be this filthy or for the equipment to be in such bad shape. Ya'll need to close down the gym for a maintenance clean asap.

Great except for the constant camera set ups and running out of cleaning bottles or rags. They also seem to be busy even during early morning hours. They have a lot of equipment and it’s all well kept. Things don’t stay broken for long and people keep to themselves (except for filming large areas without care of who else is being filmed.) All ages and fitness levels, though a lot of more serious fitness goers than some other places.

Update: Been going here for a while at least 4 days a week and thinking now about switching to another gym for a few reasons. It became apparent the women’s restroom wasn’t being cleaned as it should be when a hair clip sat on the sink for well over a week and began to rust into the counter. If they can’t keep the restrooms cleaned then I really worry about the rest.

Also, the air flow within the gym is almost none existent. They have a few fans up in the ceiling but they don’t do much. No machines have fans either. Also, the music absolutely blasting and the screaming/yelling from the spin/aerobics room at 6am just isn’t it for me. I’m sure it’s great for those that enjoy that frantic energy but even with my own earbuds in it’s loud af on that side of the gym. There are also several people who like to rap or sing out loud like they are on Idol. One woman in particular is just awful and doesn’t seem to have any social/civic sense about singing.

Also, they are now playing Christian sermons on some of the screens and have “Jesus Loves You” messages on some of the others. To each their own, it’s their business, and I am sure some really like it but it’s just a little odd if you aren’t a Christian.

Admittedly I am older and just want to workout in peace in a place that is clean.
So while they have great hours and a lot of equipment it’s just not a good fit for me.

The price is a steal and it’s conveniently located but I often don’t enjoy coming here for a few reasons. 1. Whoever sits at the front puts on their own specific playlist like they’re the DJ of Fit4life and 9 times out of 10 it’s garbage music, but more than that it’s so loudly played that I have to give myself hearing damage to drown it out in my headphones. Myself and several others have said something to the front desk politely throughout the years but it still continues. I’m not an old grumpy woman or man, I like music and all genres but it’s obnoxious. 2. These gyms seem to attract really creepy men and I’m not sure that Fit4Life can necessarily control it but I wish they could. 3. Everyone thinks they’re a fitness influencer and it’s to the point where it seems like everyone is setting up tripods all over the gym to record themselves and it gets in the way of everyone and everything. I believe this is something the gym can control. Overall the staff is fine and most of the time it’s fairly clean - but not feeling comfortable at a gym does make an impact.

Deceptive business practices. Used to be a member, was thinking of joining a gym again and called together their military and first responder rate. It is not on their website and they would not answer the question. Insisted I come in and get a tour. Told them I was a member before and they could verify my membership. Nope. Would not answer a simple question about their monthly rate. Going back to my previous membership there. They made it impossible to cancel my membership after I moved away. When I signed up in 2023, I inquired if canceling the membership would be challenging due to frequent relocations and not wanting to pay for unused services. I was assured that I could simply notify the gym to cancel my membership. In January 2024, our family was moving to an area without Fit 4 Life gyms. I discussed cancellation with a manager, who requested relocation proof and assured me of the membership cancellation. I provided the necessary documentation in person, trusting their assurance.

Months later, I noticed continued charges on my bank statement. Upon calling, I was told this was an oversight and they would investigate, but no follow-up occurred. I made several more attempts and during my last call in January 2025, I was informed I needed to submit a cancellation request through their app. I questioned why this process wasn’t mentioned earlier and why I had to provide proof in person. The representative said that management had changed and could not comment on previous actions. They advised that any cancellations moving forward must be requested through the app, which I did, learning it required a 60-day notice.

Given I’d been billed for a year without utilizing services, I decided to cancel my autopay. Recently, the payment center contacted me for updated payment details, which I declined to provide, explaining my reasons. They insisted my 60-day notice ends on April 5th, contrary to my calculation of March 5th, attributing this to their procedures. They threatened to involve a collection agency if I didn’t pay, which I’m prepared to dispute for non-rendered services.

Giving 5 starts for one of their personal trainers!- Robyn, a personal trainer at Fit4Life, is one of the most genuine humans I’ve ever met. Not only is she very knowledgeable on exercise and proper technique, but she has such a great personality and is always so willing to help out when I’m learning new moves at the gym. I cancelled my membership with fit4life due to medical reasons and because I was relocating out of the country. My doctor sent a medical note and I provided my paperwork that was relocating, when I got to Germany I also sent my lease. As of today I am filing taxes in Germany because that’s were I lived and worked. Now today I get a email from collections. I ensure everything was paid and in good standing after I cancelled. Whoever was dealing with the issue at the time was dealing with it out of anger. I will dispute this and take it to court if I of to I have all the documentation dated and email threads. Today is not the day, this is extremely disturbing because I stay A1 with my financial affairs and these people want damage my good standing. I will not give away money for free upon until today I can’t run with out running to the doctor right after like I was yesterday, I still have a weight issue and I am still searching for pain free ways to get to my dealt weight and to be as healthy as possible. I don’t want no unnecessary problems I did my part.

Deceptive advertising at its finest. Apparently there is a “catch” fee per staff today that isn’t mentioned on their advertisement. I went it today with the intention of signing up at Fit4Life after trying them out for a few days last week. The gym itself isn’t too bad, but it gets crowded at 5 and their sauna is smaller than my closet at home. Otherwise, they had everything I needed. When I came in today I mentioned the instagram post, and I was prepared to only pay for the monthly installments but the “catch” was about a $60 fee that they didn’t mention on the ad. I’ll be looking elsewhere for a gym.

Above their water fountain, they bribe customers in putting a 5 star review on google in exchange for a free smoothie. I thought it was weird, but now I know why they have nearly 5 stars on google. They lost a customer 4 life.

I did the personal training program. There were many hiccups…many many hiccups. However, there were solutions to said hiccups. Like every single one. Customer service is really decent here. Even though it took a little while and I wanted my money back, the answer was provided. Hiccups were eliminated. Cody [the answer] is an awesome personal trainer! Male or female, if you can get on his schedule, DO IT! Haley is also awesome. My gym confidence is through the roof and I’m slimmer. I have a healthy relationship with working out and that was my goal.

I am very disappointed. I was pushed heavily on going to a personal training meeting which they advertised as a personal training session. I went and didn’t know if was just an information meeting and spoke with ANTOINE and he told me what I needed to hit my goals but didn’t talk about the financial aspect of anything! He signed me up even though I told him I wasn’t financially able to do $180 a month. He was not clear or adamit that it was 6 month lock in price cause I wouldn’t have signed anything if I knew that was the case. He told me I could try it and see how I like it and so I told him what I could afford and that is why I signed the documents because I thought there was a mutual understanding of my finances. I’ve tried to contact the gym multiple times about getting the refund process and it’s like pulling hair and teeth to get anything done cause it has to go through ANTIONE apparently. This has been a nightmare and put a bad taste in my mouth so much that I don’t even feel comfortable going to this gym til all of this is resolved it has hurt me financially where I can’t even pay my personal bills. I live paycheck to paycheck this is ridiculous. I would like to call corporate but who knows if I’ll get an answer or even get this resolved.

Gotta love having to pay an extra $20 fee when I had an issue with my debit card, swapped it for my credit card literally 20 minutes later, and then saying the fee can’t be waived cause I fixed the issue myself. I love this place, but that really pissed me off.

Quise cancelar mi membresia y me dijeron, que no se podia hasta mayo del proximo año , o la otra opcion que pagara 150 dolares solo para cancelar mi membresia, mantengase alejado de este lugar, hay mejores lugares donde hacer ejercicio y
sin que le roben dinero
