The gym itself and my personal trainer were great. Halfway through my fitness journey Fitness Connection outsourced personal training to an 3rd party, Elevate, and they are HORRIBLE - read the reviews for yourself. Their customer service does not reply & they are not willing to work with you at all - the company is a scam.

The best location for a gym in Raleigh. The upstairs weight rooms are great for training. They have all the machines you could need. Check out the theatre where you can work out and watch a movie. And before or after your workout, take a stroll around North Hills.

Fitness Connection North Hills is a scam it's the old Gold's Gym with the exact the same things in them nothing has been upgraded in this unit in the last decade for it to be in such a pivotal point of North Hills and the AC hotel and Renaissance Hotel in close proximity the club needs to be revamped!!!They also make it very hard to get in touch with them about billing issues. The moblie site is a joke can handle anything there but payment smh..

This equipment is old besides some new Hoist equipment. Dumbbells are either missing or stolen, and cable coverings are fraying, making it a hazard to use. Cardio equipment literally falling apart. The HR pads rusted off and exposed wires. Some equipment you can't read the weight stack poundage when they could add an adhesive sticker. Tons of equipment, but they do poor job with cleanliness and the maintenance of equipment. They don't enforce restacking weights, gym bags on the floor or those who set up their phones. I go out of distance convenience. Otherwise, I'd be at Lifetime. Don't join the one in North Hills!!!!!!

The assistant manager Nathaniel is super helpful, and was very welcoming. This was My first time at this gym using an 5 day pass and was very impressed with the level of customer service! I have to say, I was a member for many years, but left. I recently rejoined and I have to say I was very disappointed to find that the steam room no longer exist! It was such a relaxing treat after working out. And Im hearing this has happened at all or most locations. I have to question Why? This was a drawing card for so many of us older guys. And with no other gym in my area offering steam room, it just feels like a poor decision in my opinion.

Fine gym! I got in when it was 10$ a month and think its well worth it. Decent machines and friendly staff. However, gym is pretty dirty, machines are frequently broken, and dumbbells/cable attachments are all over the place. Hours are also odd, they close very early on Saturdays and Sundays which were hard to work around when needing to get a session in during the week.

Not bad. Cleanliness could be improved. Gym equipment needs more frequent repairs. Always having to hunt for what seems like the only two single hand cable machine handles in the whole gym. Lockers are tiny.

I’ve been a member of Air Fitness Connection for about 10 years, maybe a little longer, and honestly, the place has gone downhill. I was grandfathered in years ago, but now every time I come in, something’s changed depending on who’s working the front desk. The staff never seem to be on the same page—one person says one thing, another says something completely different.

The equipment is outdated and constantly broken. There are always at least three or four machines out of order, and they stay that way for weeks. It feels like nothing ever gets maintained or replaced. On top of that, if the front desk doesn’t know your history, they’ll act like you don’t belong there and try to block you from using what you’ve always had access to.

Used this gym when I stayed at the Renaissance next door. I like that they have a separate women’s workout section, so it’s less intimidating. (The next day I found the dumbbells in the women’s section) But there’s no dumbbells in the women’s section, so I had to go upstairs in the general area to use those. Not a problem for me. It’s always annoying when people don’t put the dumbbells back on the rack because I had a hard time finding 25’s, but found them on the floor nearby.
This place has everything you need for a good workout. Not a luxury gym, just one to provide you with the equipment for a good workout.

My husband and I have been looking for a gym to join so today we visited Fitness Connection. The manager Mr.Thomas gave us a full tour of their facility.
