I have a big issue with the young teenage boys not wearing shirts during practice. This was addressed with the owner and her reply was "it's a safety concern for when they are flipping, etc...". Professional men gymnasts have to wear shirts during practice, why shouldn't those learning at a young age? Teenage boys should wear shirts during gymnastics, and the key is to choose a snug-fitting t-shirt or tank top to prevent it from flipping up, which is a common safety concern during flips and inversions. There are many young girls practicing at the same time the teenage boys are and the little girls should not be made to feel uncomfortable.

We've had a very mixed experience here.

Pros
The owner seems very responsive to addressing any issues you bring up. She is kind and has worked extra hard with my kids.
A handful of the teachers are really really good and provide solid programming.
The cost and location are very convenient and easy to fit into our budget and life.

Cons
For the handful of teachers that are really really good there are really really poor teachers as well. They are young as others have said. Multiple times I had to address teachers on their phones, not providing instruction or sitting down chilling while the kids just round around in circles. The cleanliness of the general facility is poor. The aftercare kids seem to just run rampant around the building. Again the building/equipment is older but it's also a much cheaper program than other area competitors so take that into consideration gymnastics equipment is expensive to replace

I think the owner is really trying to offer a solid program and we have met some great employees/teachers I think it's all about picking and choosing the class and time your child is in.

My daughter absolutely loves coming here for gymnastics. They found her strengths and continue to work with her on it

While searching for gymnastic centers for my daughter, I noticed this facility had the lowest ranking. I tried it anyway, due to convenience as I am very close, but can see why it had low ratings. My daughters first experience was a disaster. The staff was extremely rude and unwelcoming to me and my child. There was no engagement AT ALL, my child was completely ignored. I left a message for the manager to call me back to discuss this, they did not, and I have yet to hear from anyone week's later. I would not recommend sending my child here. While we only had one encounter, I believe first impressions are vital.

Rude. Unwelcoming. I called (Thursday) and left a message inquiring whether open gym (Friday) was scheduled as it’s listed on their website. Someone from the gym retuned my call and confirmed open gym was scheduled (6p-9p) and if there was a change, I would be notified by 12pm on Friday. She took my information as we discussed this would be my child’s first time attending. We arrived at the gym on Friday, there were several kids seemingly practicing their skills and 2 adults helping in different areas. After waiting at the front for 5 minutes, I sent my daughter (16) to ask an adult that was standing in the back of the gym, if she works there and indeed, she did not, she was a parent. My daughter walked back to the front where I and my 6yr old were waiting. We waited for another 5 minutes as many looked, but never uttered a word or greeted us in any manner. We subsequently left the gym. Not sure what that was about, but when you’re running or working in a place of business and you have open/unlocked doors (& children) you should be looking to greet anyone that walks-in, in a timely manner. Not only is it common courtesy, but it’s also a safety measure.

I absolutely love how Meggie's coaches take time to know her and guide her in the skills taught. Meggie looks forward every week for her class. The level of patience given her is unmatched and I would recommend Flip Force. Meggie's class is the Mommy and Me. I've enjoyed watching her grow and become less dependent over the past year.

I WANT to give 5 stars. Both of my girls go to gymnastics every Tuesday night. My main complaint is that all of the bathrooms and the facility in general is just absolutely disgusting. I feel like they have not cleaned a single toilet or the floors in months for what you pay you definitely should at least be able to use the restroom. The main gym smells like a middle school locker room! Like the stench pinches you in the face. The coaches are literally all teenage girls which is fine, but I do feel like half the time with my older girl one specific instructor is not even paying attention to her and she’s standing there staring at the ceiling. When she’s not there and there’s a different coach, my daughter learns twice as much! There is potential for flip force to be good, but I feel like they need to make these improvements now!

I am leaving a review for this place because it has played an important role in my child's development. The experience has taught her the value of hard work, determination, and the fact that success does not come easily, especially when it comes to achieving great things. Our journey with this place started with their affordable after-school childcare program, which then transitioned to private coaching that has spanned several years. My daughter has formed close friendships and thoroughly enjoys every moment spent here. Despite being a small center, they have achieved significant success, including winning State championships and qualifying for national and even Olympic levels. This place provides the perfect environment for my daughter to focus and stay resilient. If your child loves gymnastics, these coaches have the expertise and take the extra effort to understand your child's needs and help them achieve their goals. Gymnastics is undoubtedly one of the most challenging sports out there.

A stressful and frustrating experience. My friend and I took our 1.5yr kids to a trail class and were the only ones wearing masks. It felt crowded with everyone at the doorway. We were not greeted by anyone and did not see an instructor until right at start time. The warm ups were geared more for the 6yr kids that were in the class than the toddlers. We split up into 2 groups of younger and older so the activities were a little better but poorly explained. We have been doing gymnastics for about a month out of town and were hoping this close location would work out. since we have been doing this for a short time i knew how to help my son do a lot of the requirements but someone new to the sport would be lost. The toddlers did have fun most of the time, transitions were hard (young kids need explanations, warnings, or songs to help transition) and the instructors didn't interact too much with the kids until they did the closing song and gave them a stamp for doing good. The kids loved the foam pit, rope swing, and the ladder activity, but were lost for a lot of the other stations

we thought we were enrolling in summer gymnastics camp for the month of August. really it was just high school kids with limited gymnastics experience watching our 5 year old while they jumped on the trampoline for a few hours a day. there was no instruction - just free play.

they also were limited to a tiny, dirty room in the back of the gym when other gymnastics classes were going on. the playground area is super dilapidated and security is sub par. often I walked in the back unlocked door and couldn’t find anyone to “sign my kid out” for the day. i also couldn’t identify campers versus counselors.

my husband shared that once when he walked in kids were eating their snack on the floor as there were not enough chairs. i know i once witnessed kids out of line of sight of the “counselors” huddled in a corner. again, don’t accept elementary aged kids if supervision is not adequate.

i also think there is a horrific smell from this facility that when you walk in is awful. our regular dance / acro facility does not have this so i know it’s not just the sport.

my daughter goes with the flow so enjoyed it but we will not be back!

Summer “gymnastics” camp, says the flyer. $200 for a week of “gymnastics” camp. When asked why no gymnastics is being taught. “Im not a gymnastics instructor” when asking Management why “ your kids are free to go do it on their own” my daughter was stuffed in the back room for 70% of her time there. The place is filthy, last time they bought a new mat was year 1972. Zero security, let my husband walk in and take another girl home without asking for identification. Children working there supervising children. Complete joke

Customer service isn't the best. Communication sucks. I called approximately 3 to 4 weeks before trying to schedule a birthday party for my 3 year old and was told the date was available and all details were given. I called back to book it, the Tuesday they asked me to call back on, and was told they would Call me back. I called them back and she said ues we are still checking but the date was still available, but we will Cal you back. The day before I wanted to book the party, I decided to call back to see what the excuse would be since no one has called. They said they had a party scheduled. REALLY!!! I said they told me they were looking to see if they would have staff and the girl said oh I guess they couldn't find staff... REALLY!!! BUT YOU ARE HAVING A PARTY ON THAT DAY! NEVER APOLOGIZED OR ASKED IF ANOTHER DAY COULD BE BOOKED. CALL JUST ENDED.

I reserved a spot for tonight, got a “yes” from the gym for a reservation. Then was told I didn’t provide enough detail and they gave the spot away. This was to be date night for my husband and I. Very disappointed in the level of customer service.

The staff does not wear masks. Reporting to the CDC, they need to keep their customers safe. Will not be coming back until they comply with the CDC.

My daughters are having the absolute best time! They are in the Bronze AAU team and have coach Katie, who the LOVE! They love that coach Katie is helpful and always pushing them to be better. They understand corrections are constructive criticism and listen to her to make sure they are learning to be safe but also have fun. Coach Katie also stays hard on them to make sure they don’t cut any corners. Teaches them accountability and hard work. She keeps a positive attitude and always makes sure everyone is having fun! So happy with my girls and the progress they have made! Could not have done it without coach Katie by their sides!

Great programs! My 5yr old daughter loves her weekly class and is also going to the summer camp. She has also really enjoyed attended Parents’ Night Out. My 3yr old son will be starting a class soon. We have been very pleased so far. Staff is all friendly and very helpful and the kids seem to enjoy working with all of them. Only downside is it can sometimes be hard to reach someone when you call. They always call back though if you leave a message and are very good about responding to emails.

I was interested in visiting Flip Force to see what they had to offer and possible have a tour of the facility for my grandchild. When I approached the window there were two people sitting behind window that didnt seem to want to get up and show me anything. All they did was hand me a piece of paper with an online address and i was told to go online and all the information would be on there. Im old fashion and first impressions are lasting ones. I didnt feel welcomed and I wont be back. What ever happened to friendly customer service ?
