I’ve been training with David at Focus and have seen real strength gains since starting. He’s knowledgeable, consistent, and knows how to push you just enough to make progress without overdoing it. What I really appreciate is the overall atmosphere in the studio. Everyone there has a great attitude. They’re supportive and encouraging without being over-the-top or overwhelming. It’s a place that makes you want to show up and put in the work. Highly recommend!

Fantastic team of trainers who meet you where you are! Nice, clean facility. I am not someone who particularly enjoys exercise but I'm at an age where it is really important. I've gotten so much stronger since I began working out with David 10 months ago and he does a great job of keeping me motivated. It is a comfortable and non-judgmental space. I highly recommend Focus PT!

Ben is a wonderful, inclusive trainer. I came to him not knowing the first thing about using a gym and he built me personal plans tailored to my experience and capabilities. We've slowly but surely progressed over the months, and Ben has always been encouraging, positive, and pushing me to keep going. I’ve been consistently working out with Ben 2x a week since the beginning of January (just over 6 weeks). In that time I’ve lost pounds, gained strength/endurance/energy and - most importantly - adopted a habit of consistent exercise for the first time in 5+ years. Ben is great to work with as far as scheduling, definitely knows his stuff and does a great job of tailoring workouts - as well as his approach - to each individual client. If you live in the Greensboro area and are ready to invest in your health in a way that will pay dividends, I recommend giving Ben a try!

Ben has consistently helped me determine appropriate fitness goals and has helped me implement the right exercises to make solid progress. I continue to be impressed by Ben's knowledge and ability to create challenging and engaging workouts.

I started working with Ben in late August of this year with the goal of losing baby weight. However, after just a few sessions I realized that what I needed went beyond losing weight. The benefits of working out with Ben have been tremendous, from feeling great about myself, to my improved mental and physical health. Ben has helped me stay motivated, he pushes me during each session and increases the intensity of each work out so it is clear to see that I am making progress. I love that each second of our session is used-he does not waste time nor does he let me waste time! As much as I hate working out I love the results I am getting. I can also say that working out with a mask has not been the challenge I expected it to be. Ben has adjusted my workouts so that I do not over exert myself and still get a productive workout.

Ben has the necessary training, skills and knowledge to help get the results that you want. Ben motivates you, makes sure that each exercise has the correct effect and checks in with you and how your body is reacting during each workout. He’s available for questions and assistance via text or phone call, if you are doing one of his work out sets on your own. He also offers group rates! Which is wonderful when you want to include your friends, family, or significant others.

I would like to say that I am 31yrs old and not in the best of shape, more like completely out of shape for someone of my age. When I started out with Ben Austin Personal Training, I was thinking he was going to be like most trainers I have worked with before, giving a out a list of instructions that is not specific to anyone, but somewhat helpful. I was wrong.
To my surprise Ben is much more than that, he listened to my needs and what I am trying to achieve. He truly thought out what kind of plan would work best for me, tailoring the workout to maximize the time we had together. I went to him once a week and worked out on my own otherwise.
He knew how to push me without pushing too far or too fast really building up my endurance. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone no matter their age or ability.
