The entire staff at the Apex location is fantastic! We started with the 40-minute consultation and followed up with five additional lessons to prepare for our wedding first dance. My husband bought lessons for me and him to take private ballroom lessons. We have had so much fun learning the basics of ballroom dances and finding out what style of dance we enjoy. We started at age 80 as part of therapy for Parkinson’s but quickly realized it was also great fun! The teachers make complicated steps understandable as well as doable. The studio is so welcoming that we look forward to our lessons each week. Although the studio has only been open for three years, a vibrant dance community has been formed. Discovered FAD Apex studio as a surprise for my wife’s birthday. I signed us up for the discovery classes and then since we had such a great time signed up for additional 6 classes.

These 6 classes makeup the Foundational Course. Goal is to get a taste of various dance styles and memorizing the steps. Later course(s) build upon the Foundational Course. I certainly did not expect to become an exceptional dancer but now I have some knowledge on the legwork. Special shoutout to our awesome instructor Dima and Nika.

I had always wanted to try dancing, but was very nervous to try because I'm not a naturally gifted dancer. I'm so glad I came here and gave it a try because everyone here is so friendly and helpful! My first lesson here was a surprise Valentine's gift from my husband.... The best gift ever! I used to dance 20 years ago but since my husband didn't know how to ballroom dance (and didn't want to learn) I stopped. I missed it terribly... So when he signed us both up for ongoing lessons you can imagine my joyful surprise! The instructors are the very best! The instructors (we danced with Kirill and Nika) made us feel as though we practicing for dancing with stars! Their vibrant personalities and patience was amazing. They were so encouraging and fun to take lessons from. My wife and I connected on a beautiful intimate level. The stresses from day to day life vanished the moment we stepped on the floor! I want to echo all the wonderful comments! I, too, bought my husband a groupon as a Christmas gift and we almost didn't use it before it expired. I am so glad we did! We are on our second round of lessons and we enjoy them so much. We consider all the instructors our new friends, but specifically Anthony, who is such a wonderful instructor. He always makes us feel good about our progress, even when we forget steps and walk on each other's feet. Every session we have with him leaves us happy and wanting to learn more! He is truly the one who keeps us coming back each week.

The. Best. Ever! I’ve always loved to dance but my athletic husband has never wanted to. After the first class he was hooked! He even bought his own ballroom dance shoes! My wife and I started taking classes here. The staff is very warm and welcoming. I am not a dancer by any stretch but their teaching methods are very helpful in learning. They can teach a whole array of different dances so you are not locked into one. It's definitely something worth trying.

I enjoyed attending this studio. Pleasant atmosphere, nice instruction and time well spent. Both private and group classes are held. You don't have to have a partner to be able to take a class. In addition to classes, theme dance party events are offered to students regularly. You can pay for the classes in a bundle, or one by one. It's a nice way to get some positivity and exercise either on your own, or with your loved one!

Like others, my wife and I bought a Groupon to try it out and we also loved it. We are now on our second round of classes! Anthony, Valeri, Nika and Kirill are kind, polite, professional and of course EXCELLENT dancers! My wife and I have really enjoyed learning how to Rumba and Bachata. We look forward to continuing our lessons with them. Highly recommend it for anyone in the area. Try the groupon which is of GREAT value and if you like it, and I'm sure you will, take a few more classes. Before you know it, you'll be hooked :)

I'll also add that I was touched by the fact that our first class took place days after Russia invaded Ukraine. It was touching to see how these group of beautiful human beings from Russia and Ukraine were supporting each other.

Recommend to anyone! My fiancè and I came to Fred Astaire with the hopes of creating a fun and memorable dance for our wedding and we were not disappointed! The Fred Astaire of Apex team worked closely with us to choreograph a dance that felt personal and fit our style. Lessons made for great date nights! The staff are so upbeat and encouraging which made for a comfortable environment for us to step outside our comfort zone. We will definitely be returning for group lessons and parties!
