I enrolled in the Fall 2024 YTT program offered by this studio. It was around $3000 for the 8-weekend course. I attended six out of the eight weekend sessions before I could no longer tolerate the environment. Additionally, I abandoned 26 out of 30 class passes I had purchased during that time. I invested a significant amount of money into an experience that fell far short of what I had expected. I asked the owner and YTT instructor, Roman, for a partial refund some time ago. I was offered an insultingly menial amount, to which I countered, and then never received a response. While I will likely never recoup my loss, I hope to spare others from similar heartache.
The classes themselves were often very unstructured, which is to be expected in the yoga/holistic community, but there was a piece of it that made the experience insufferable. After the election, the owner, Roman, who was teaching the YTT program, became increasingly emboldened. Every weekend we spent was gradually sprinkled with more and more political talking points and buzz words, until it eventually culminated into the last class I attended. It was what I can best describe as a 4-hour long alt-right lecture in which most of us sat as sounding boards for the most ridiculous political rhetoric I’ve ever heard outside of a WRAL Facebook comment section. In addition to it just being inappropriate for the setting, the views were conspiratorial and extremist. You expect a little bit of woo-woo in the wellness/holistic communities, but this was beyond extreme. There was no true openness to discussion or debate and there was a quickness to disagree or pivot based on false or absent evidence until some of us eventually fell silent. Prior to this, I had tried to suck it up weekend after weekend, and get what I could of the course, but after that last session, I could no longer stomach it.
A lot of the talking points weren’t new and are largely recycled and regurgitated from a certain subsect; it’s really the setting and the unnecessariness of it that made it so unbearable. While I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinions, I feel that an environment like this—intended for personal growth and learning—should remain focused on the practice at hand. The shoehorned insertion of such political commentary hugely detracted from the practice, and the delivery of which was usually condescending and arrogant. It grossly overshadowed the truly valuable aspects—the meditation, the physical challenges, and the art of perfecting poses. Despite the benefits, I could not and cannot overlook this piece, as it was so terribly unpleasant and distracting and it so profoundly misaligns with my morals and values.
Ultimately, this experience was deeply disappointing and jarring really, and I’m embarrassed that I spent the amount of money and sacrificed the amount of time that I did. The program had the potential to be excellent if it had stayed focused on yoga. I will not be returning to this studio.

I've been attending regularly for a little over a year and I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The instructors are the star at Gratitude, they are not only genuine and friendly, but very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding and assisting in your practice. The community of clients is very much the same. Gratitude enables you to become better physically, mentally, and spiritually. Very happy all around.

I attended a class yesterday for the first time at this studio and somehow was the only student there. I was a little nervous taking essentially a private lesson, but the instructor Bruce was so kind and led a lovely class despite it being just me. I really appreciated how comfortable I felt even as the only person there. The energy is just good here. I'll definitely be back, and special thanks to Bruce for being so welcoming to someone new!

Gratitude Hot Yoga has become one of the most important parts of my week—and honestly, my life. I originally came looking for a great workout/asana but what I’ve found here is so much deeper. The classes have helped me build strength, flexibility, and endurance, but also brought so much mental clarity, emotional balance, and a true sense of peace. It’s teaching me how to be more efficient, focused and nonreactive.
ALL the instructors are truly exceptional. Roman, Arrington, Jane Dix, and Susan (all of whom work best for my schedule) each bring something unique and powerful to their classes—whether it’s the sequencing, the energy, the encouragement, their sense of humor, or the hands-on pose enhancements. I know MANY yogis who miss this from in-person classes. Adjustments in class seem to have disappeared since COVID but these teachers are so well-trained and bring their best selves for YOU & everyone there. It is powerful, the way they hold space and the generosity of bringing every bit that they have to offer.
Even when I take a class with a brand-new teacher trained at Gratitude, I’m always blown away by the consistency, thoughtfulness, and flow of the practice.
When I walk into the studio, I know I’m about to be challenged, grounded, and re-centered. And I feel immersed in a supportive, unprejudiced, diverse community. The environment is warm, welcoming, and intentional in every way. I leave each class feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected to myself.
This place is so much more than a yoga studio—it’s a place of healing, growth, and, yes, gratitude. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Every class has the potential to be for a brand new student and also provides the expertise and knowledge for well seasoned students to take it to their next level. 🙏

I have attended yoga here before and really enjoyed it. But today I went to an early sunrise meditation class that was a total league of its own! It was a closing class for their teacher’s training series but was open to the public. It was so informative, engaging and impactful. We were guided through stretches, mindfulness exercises, breathing and then a period of meditation. It’s not a weekly class but I really hope they will consider making it one. Excellent experience!

I have practiced yoga for 25 years in multiple states. This place and its people are the REAL DEAL. Awesome sequences, healthy priorities, and expert assists are normal to these people. They nail it. Every. Single. Time.

As a yoga teacher (and forever student) I am always looking for new studios whenever I travel to a new city. On a quick weekend trip to Raleigh to visit a family member, I was recommended Gratitude Hot Yoga and am so glad I went. Roman was a wonderful teacher with a gentle & welcoming energy. I felt right at home. The flow was well instructed and the perfect amount of ease and torch. I left the class feeling powerful and accomplished. I recommend this studio 1000%! If you’re in the Raleigh area definitely take the time to check this lovely studio out.

I started taking classes at Gratitude this year as a beginner and I am so happy I did! It’s difficult to find somewhere that you feel comfortable during the pandemic, but with the incredibly clean studio and welcoming, respectful people, I feel like I can actually let go and focus on the moment.
I wasn’t sure if hot yoga would be for me. I would not say fitness is my passion, nor would I call myself flexible, but after exhausting myself with workouts that are too hard and damaging to my body, I gave it a try. Each class I’ve attended, I’ve felt encouraged and supported by not just the instructors, but also the other attendees. It isn’t about perfection, it’s about practice and listening to your body.
If you’re on the fence, give it a try.

I love Gratitude Hot Yoga! I've been going to Yoga places in the past but Gratitude Hot Yoga is by far the best one. Not only are the classes wonderful but I learned SO MUCH about the right posture, breathing, listening to my body, etc. from the amazing instructors which has helped me to improve my practice a lot. I'm so happy to have found this studio - highly recommend!

Just joined and couldn't be happier! Classes are challenging! Staff is super friendly, confidently professional and, dare I say, World Class. Facilities are clean and organized. Most importantly, the environment is hot, but not too dry and the sound system helps one enter into your yoga zone, without having to suffer through loud music. Imastay, Namaste!

Best yoga classes in Raleigh. All the instructors are great, especially Roman. I've lived in Raleigh for 20+ years and practiced that long and this is the best studio hands down.

Me and my husband used to go to gratitude. We loved the military discount they gave out as we are a military family. Last night my husband went and was told they will no longer be offering a military discount as they are becoming “an all inclusive hot yoga”. But yet they still offer student discounts. We will not be coming back.

I returned to Gratitude after a two year hiatus for some hot yoga on a cold and rainy weekday and it was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the updates to the space. Not only is there one larger, combined studio, but the entryway has been refreshed and everything seems to flow much better (pun intended).
I took the noon express class (a wonderful and time-savvy option for a working lunch break), and found the teacher (Maggie) to be warm, welcoming and gently helpful with my form. In addition, the studio's owner was quick to respond to an email inquiry that I had earlier that day. I already liked Gratitude, but now I might be in love. Will definitely be back soon!

My wife and I have been going to Gratitude for several years now and we have enjoyed this very inclusive Yoga Community. I initially started going to yoga for it's physical benefits but have discovered over time that it's more than that. There is much self-discovery in yoga, and everyone's journey will be different. We were fortunate enough to find a community that is so warm and welcoming to students of all levels and backgrounds.

If you’re looking for a mind, body, and spirit nourishing experience, you found it. It’s been a while since I lived in Raleigh, but I’ve stayed connected to the Gratitude community via email and it’s brought me more mindfulness and self-awareness in my home practice. I’m sure the Yoga Classes are still great too!

Have fallen in love with this studio! I have never been able to get into yoga no matter what kind I tried or what studio I went to. My husband bought me some classes and so far it has been amazing! I've gone to a class with almost every instructor and have not been disappointed. The classes have everyone from experts to beginners and you feel comfortable no matter what your level is!
As a bonus they have yoga "express" classes from 12:00-12:45 for us working people that can only get away from out lunch break!

Such super nice teachers and overall environment. I'm new and not in perfect yoga shape and it doesn't matter. No one is there to do anything but help you practice in the way which is best for your level. There are no judgements.

Gratitude Hot Yoga knows how to create the perfect yoga environment. Feels like a spa! The studio is spotless and beautifully decorated. Andreas teaching style is great and she gives great class instruction making following along with the flow very easy. Also, Just an FYI. Google maps has this location showing up in the other smaller brick shopping center, it's actually in the larger shopping center next to the little gym and near chubbys tacos
