If I could leave no stars I would, I have been going to this gym for years. I always come during the day which is staffed hours, I miss the girls that use to always greet me with a nice smile and make you feel welcomed I’m not sure why they left because the place went down hill since they have been gone, they use to play newer music of different genres, It used to be so clean, the bathrooms was always stocked but now I go in and its always rock music nothing like it used to be I use to not wear headphones in this gym but now i have to or else i hear the same loop of rock music because the music never changes, I also have noticed equipment moved from day to day like no one cares to line things up during the staffed hours, and cob webs and dust on machines and the mirrors look like they don’t even get cleaned anymore, the bathrooms are not stocked and the wipes sometimes are left empty the gym has definitely changed since new management and not in good ways.

The gym is clean. The staff are friendly. The gym is affordable and it’s not too far of a drive for me.
My biggest complaint is the parking lot. There are a lot of illegal activities going on. My daughters friend’s car got broken into while they were working out. They no longer go there. Sometimes, I notice suspicious characters looking at our cars in the parking lot.
Yesterday morning, I saw two men acting suspicious. One was standing outside the door and the other was walking towards him from the parking lot. They were eye signaling each other and looking around to see who was watching them. When they passed each other they handed something off to one another, which appeared to be dope. I felt unsafe.
Also, Some of the equipment needs attention. There is a treadmill that’s been broken since I started there 6mos ago. The other treadmills are missing buttons on the handles. My husband turned in one of the buttons that fell off.
My husband and I are looking for another gym. I can deal with some of the broken equipment, but not the parking area. I feel like they need better security for their members and our vehicles.
I do hope the parking area gets better. I wish only the best for the gym, staff and members.

Wonderful 24/7 gym with all of the equipment you could ask for and need at a very affordable price. Highly recommend this gym to anybody in the HKY.

*****6 MONTH UPDATE***
Ive been going here for awhile now. They were suppose to get new equipment. They only added two machines which they already had one of each. So I was disappointed. I was hoping for a hack squat or something new. There use to be a straight bar for the cable machine it went MIA. They dont clean under, near or around the machines. Hair, dust and dirty have collected and needs to be cleaned every so often because if you sit a jacket down that stuff gets on it even in the bathrooms. The soap pump has been empty for 6 months there is only one with soap in it.
But over all its a decent gym. Most people clean up after their selves in there but you also have the people don't. You just have to be careful because of the location especially if youre alone. Its typically the same people in the mornings which is nice. I dont go in the evening because of how bad the homeless and transit people are.
Like I said its a good gym but could be better with improvements but I will continue to be a member and hope to see a few changes while I am there.

So far so good. The staff has handled any issues I've had so far or at least will bring them to the owners attention. They're really nice. I've been going here for 3-4 weeks now. The handicap shower floods so I wouldn't use it. A girl last week completely flood the bathroom. I guess because the shower wasn't installed probably. The gym is typically clean and would stay clean if people would pick up after theirselves lol some of the machines needs to be serviced like the two hip abductor machines the cables are loose. There is plenty of room where they could add more machines like maybe a hack squad machine for more stability and also a triceps press and possibly another Smith machine since there is only two and a standing calf raising machine since there is only a seated one . but I like that it's 24hrs so you can go when it's convenient for you. They have free coffee if you're a coffee fan.

Apparently, the staff hours are just a suggestion. Arrived at the gym at 4:45 with no-one answering the door bell. I waited until 5 and no response and even called 4 to 5 times; lost my interest in getting a gym membership here. It’s a very unprofessional look.

I would have given more stars if your staff was more consistent with keeping the bathrooms clean and stocked with toilet paper than not. On more than one occasion there’s been soap left in the same bathroom for days on end. How do you leave your facility at the end of the night knowing more people will be coming through the night into the morning?

I've been going to this gym for almost a year, when it was named Guazo Fitness, now Grind Fitness. The equipment is still like new with barely any damage in sight. I appreciate the kind receptionists at the counter when they greet me. The atmosphere is casual as if everyone is there to give it their best for themselves without trying to be competitive or egotistical. Equipment is almost ALWAYS available for usage so, there's no one to wait for. One issue I do see that the cardio machines are usually broken or experiencing malfunctions. However, its usually not that big of a deal where everyone is doing cardio lol, but it would be nice to have them repaired just in case a large influx of people wish to do cardio. I do believe the owner is trying her best on resolving the issue since I did see someone work on the step master that was broken a while ago. Major plus for me is it is 24/7, meaning there is no excuse to not go later or earlier than usual. All in all, this is an ideal gym for casual and serious gym goers for a really good price in my opinion. I wish the best for the owner and her employees and hope it prospers.

This review is long over due. I had been going to this gym for about 7 months and I absolutely LOVED IT! The gym itself was extremely clean, bathrooms were always immaculate, lots of equipment, and the staff was wonderful. However, in June I was kicked out and my membership was terminated for grunting and dropping weights. If you are a person who is serious about the gym and truly pushing yourself to the limits you are going to grunt a little. Was I yelling? No I was not, that is excessive. Was I dropping weights? Yes, if I and doing dumbbell chest presses with 100lbs and I try to put them down gently I am going to hurt myself. The manager said I was given a verbal warning however I was never given one. Instead I later found out that they told my coach to tell me to tone it down. I’m sorry, but it is not his responsibility to tell me. If you have a problem with what I am doing then you tell me. Not is this extremely unprofessional but it is also unfair to me. I was kicked out for no good reason while never being given a warning. Overall, if you are truly trying to push yourself and give it all that you have I would not recommend. More than likely you will be given trouble. For the average person I do recommend but if you are serious then I DO NOT!!!!!

The gym has zero air conditioning and has been this way for the vast majority of summer, when the heat index is over 100 degrees and the gym has shown zero effort of replacing the unit, they placed a paper saying it would be replaced over a month ago and then just took it down and then tried to justify working out in excessive heat. Patience has ran out with this gym, I am in the construction industry and know for a fact I could’ve replaced the unit months ago! The owner is never there to care to change it. Ridiculous. Care more about your customers.

Guazo Fitness Plus is by far my favorite gym. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and well organized. It’s slowly becoming my home away from home. Run don’t walk to check it out! Membership fees are very affordable.
