We were looking for an activity for our 3 year old daughter to keep her active and engaged. We were having trouble finding some place that could keep her attention, allow her to have fun but also introduce her to structure. This is the place. The environment is fun but structured and safe. Our daughter asks everyday to come back and even got to the point we signed up to come back twice a week.

We came in one day and my daughter very abruptly was having the worst day of her life (if you have a three year old you know what I mean). She was crying in the lobby area in my arms for 10 minutes. No one in their right mind would come and introduce a crying 3 year old into their life, however, a staff member (I believe Miss Hannah want to give that young woman credit!) came up to her and I and asked if she wanted to come see some animals inside and got her reengaged and back to her normal self. She was not her teacher, did not know her, and just took it upon herself to do so. I couldn’t pay enough for that attention of detail and level of caring for the members of the gym.

I can’t say enough great things about this place and would recommend it to ANYONE looking to bring their little ones, boy or girl!

Mr. Corey and Mr. Carson made my son’s first gymnastics class so enjoyable! My son was very timid at the beginning of class and by the time we were walking to the car he was asking to “do more gymnastics”! We really appreciate both coaches warmth and patience as my son observed and got comfortable with the facility.

We have been at Gymcarolina for almost 2 years now. We started in the Parent tot class with Mr Corey and he was wonderful; very patient and kind with a way of getting even the smallest gymnasts engaged and participating! We moved up to Preschool with Miss Erin and she has been amazing for my daughter. She is very attentive and is always so sweet with her kiddos. You can tell she really enjoys what she does!!! We are very grateful for such a positive experience into the world of gymnastics!!

We had a great experience at Gymcarolina! My four year old did the Advanced Preschool class with Miss Abbey and it was fantastic. Ms Abbey was positive, patient, encouraging, and consistently brought her best to class. I was so impressed with her teaching and my daughter learned so much from her! I also appreciated the facilities. Clean, not too chaotic or crowded, and I appreciated the great parent viewing area where you can watch your child the entire time from above. Would definitely recommend!

Went for a trial and observed that classes were crammed in to the space and that kids sat waiting for their turn the majority of the time - staff also did not look eager. We did not pursue.

Our experience with Gymcarolina has been so positive! Everyone on staff has been helpful and really kind. In particular, my daughter’s coach, Miss Abbey, has been incredible. This is a tot aged group class and yet Miss Abbey still does a great job of addressing individual needs and meeting each student where they are. We have felt that both safety and fun are top of mind and my two year old has already learned so much. Highly recommend!

We have loved our experience at Gymcarolina! The staff is always kind and helpful, but I want to give a shout out to Dominic and Ansley. When my daughter, who is only 3, was having a hard time getting started with class (really wanted to cling to mama), Dominic noticed she was struggling and sat with Hannah and helped her through warm ups. Both he and Ansley were so patient with her, and once she got comfortable she was perfectly fine!

We've had three sessions at Gymcarolina with 3 different coaches. The coaches are SO different in skill and ability. I get the sense that the coaches who've been there a long time are well-known and are very good - kind with the kids, know their stuff gymnastics-wise. The other two coaches we had were, at best, meh, and the other blatantly ignored the children in her class. It was pretty upsetting to watch. These are kids that have no previous experience and needed guidance. Her teaching method was to tell the kids what to do - no demonstration, no walking them through it. Then she'd stare off into the gym. This went on for the duration of the session. We hung on, hoping it was just a one-off.

In addition to the inconsistent teachers, safety does not seem to be a concern at all to the gym. There are 15-20 classes of kids going at a time. During one class, I saw three different classes of kids sharing the foam pit - one cartwheeling into it, one jumping from the trampoline into it, and one climbing the rope above it. I was waiting for kids to collide the whole time. And during one of our last classes there, during warm up, one of the boys classes was squished into a tiny area to make more space for one of the older girls' classes doing their routines.

The gym should book fewer kids/classes at a time but I get the feeling that they really don't care.

Kara has been AMAZINGLY helpful in transitioning our daughter into her next season of gymnastics. She’s incredibly helpful, kind and compassionate. I have had a great experience thus. far and my daughter hasn’t even stepped foot in the gym yet! This place offers personalized customer service and I’m thrilled for my daughter to attend, thrive and grow!

I waited a whole week for them to tell me why my 4 year old daughter ended up HYSTERICALLY CRYING after Mr Cory's class. She cried A LOT and couldn't tell me what happened. This is what I saw from a far, she was jumping he grabbed her from her arms, he said something close to her face. I called the gym to find out what happened and NO ONE CARED. Horrible people, horrible place!!

Started as a great place to get my daughter train with gymnastics. As of few months back they lost a key coach. From there I have seen a decrease in the quality of training. Also, as part of any business growth is always positive but in this case is too much. The kids are part of classes with too many students, this gives the students very little chance to practice and improve techniques. I really hope they realize the importance of quality training over quantity of students.

My daughter has been going to GymCarolina for over 6 years. We have been pleased. The front desk staff and owners are very nice. I know some have mentioned that some coaches are better than others, that’s true anywhere you go (some doctors are better than others, some teachers are better than others, some engineers are better than others.). I’m sorry, but that’s not a valid point to make. I’m sure if any concerns where addressed with staff they would have heard you out and made it better. I know because I have voiced a concern once, and it was quickly remedied. They are very flexible and great with costumer service.

Great facility, nice staff, my daughter and her friends had a blast at her 7th Birthday Party. However if you plan on having more than cake in the party room, you really need more than the 30 mins they allow. Because that 30 mins includes clean up time. Party's are booked back to back with no time to spare. So we felt extremely rushed and therefore it was VERY stressful. Thankful for the help from my family and friends. Wish they provided more assistance for set up and clean up as well as more than 30 mins in the Party room.

I signed my 7 year old up for their track out camp and I’ve never seen her so excited to get up in the mornings! She has an absolute blast and over the 2 weeks she’s been there she has mastered so many things and is so proud. She’s begging me to sign up for their speciality team so she can keep going even when she’s in school. The staff are so nice and the facility is clean and has everything you can imagine. And I think the price is very reasonable. I would recommend gym Carolina to anyone looking enroll their child into gymnastics!

Seems like they do a good job with classes, but the birthday parties are strange. Adults/parents are shunted upstairs to a room where they cannot be seen or heard, kids are put through their paces in little packs. Two of 3 kids this works fine with, one wouldn't do much without seeing mom/dad, so just kinda walked near the other kids. When I tried to explain/help one of the employees got mad and shooed me off their floor.
Other gymnastic places seemed a lot more fun, less focused on making olympic athletes.

Attended a birthday party here and it was a blast for the kids. The instructors were fun and did a great job pulling the kids into the fun. There is an observation area for the parents but we were also allowed on the floor to help the kids out. Overall kids had fun and it wore them out.
