"Out of Towner" visiting family and needed a place to workout! They have so many options - even a package for "out of towners"! I have never seen that before, ANYWHERE! It was so ideal. I took their reformer classes and loved them. Very educated teachers who really know the body. I took from Rachel and Sarah, both were excellent. The space is so clean and airy. I loved the energy in there. So happy to know when I come back to visit I have a place to keep up with my routine. But even for those who live in town, I was so impressed with the many packages they offer to really try and fit everyone's needs!

I'm not always comfortable in group exercise settings and was shy about coming at first. My first class was with Sarah. She is cheerful, respectful and really encouraging to all students, no matter how skilled or new. I also loved working with Rachel. You can tell she really loves pilates and can really help you modify to adapt to any physical limitations or challenges. I'm glad this place exists in Hendo. Parking is always easy, the studio is super clean all the time and the teachers are personable and kind. We are lucky to have them.

I found Hendersonville Barre and Fitness a couple of months ago. They have a 2 week trial for $30. I tried it and I'm hooked!
I love Barre and Mat Pilates. The classes work on all those little muscles you forgot you had as well as the major muscle groups. The instructors are personable, respectful and knowledgeable. They give modifications to meet your fitness level and any injuries that you might have.
The space is very calm and relaxing: No fluorescent lights and blaring music. I really like that even though you're taking a class with others you can really concentrate on what you want from the workout.
I highly recommend that you try classes here. It's a very welcoming space with mindful instruction, no intimidation, and best of all, RESULTS!

Since moving to the area, I have been on a hunt for a studio or gym to become a regular at. I felt right at home with HVL barre! I love how accessible they are - from class times to modifications on moves. I am constantly recommending this studio!

Was my first time doing pilates of any kind. Did the $10 community class on Saturday. Sarah was fantastic. The class was fun, easy to follow, and very welcome to all levels. I ended up purchasing the 2 week unlimited pass so I could check out Barre!

I have learned so much at Hendersonville barre and fitness. I’ve worked out my whole life but this place has taught me to listen to my body and how to use all the small muscles that often get forgotten about. I really enjoy the Micro movements in barre class that may seem easy but they are challenging. I also like how much Pilates focuses on deep core work, as someone who has abdominal separation, this class really helps me focus on my core and train those muscles the correct way and make them stronger. Sarah and Rachel are also very welcoming and make the classes fun! 🥰

Hendersonville Barre and Fitness is my favorite place to work out! I love the classes, fresh beautiful space, and friendly atmosphere. With barre you get strength training, cardio, core, balance, and stretching all in one class. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming, and the class community is amazing. 5 million stars!

Several months ago, I went on a hunt for exercise that felt like a want and not a should. Since turning 40, hitting the machines at the gym, doing hard core boot camps, or attempting anything that resembled a burpee just made me angry. Hendersonville Barre & Fitness started giving free introductory classes- making them the perfect next stop on my hunt. Truthfully, I walked into my first class as a complete Debbie Downer. Covid isolation, feeling older, and my jaded attitude had taken over. But Sarah & Rachel’s approachable and fun energy magically shifted my thinking. I left knowing this would be my new jam. The workouts, which I call Sneaky Workouts, use slow & controlled movements that get into muscles I don’t even know I have. When I leave Barre, I feel strong and ready to return- which is a welcomed change from feeling like a busted can of biscuits after some high impact torture fest. It’s an inclusive space for all bodies where the goal is focused on how your body needs to move that day- not how well you can keep up with the teacher. And somehow, even without the extreme pressure and high impact exercises, it’s ridiculously effective. I love it!

I’ve always found group fitness intimidating, and especially as someone who considers herself pretty uncoordinated, I was nervous (but excited!) to attend my first class at Hendersonville Barre. I can say without reservation that this is the most inviting experience I’ve ever had in an exercise environment. The instructors are excellent, the other patrons are so friendly, and I literally countdown looking forward to my next class. A huge thank you to Sarah and Rachel for creating such a wonderful space!
