I am amazed by Sensei Patrick, Sensei Perry, and the many other Sensei and their have extensive knowledge. I have been to many other Dojos and the other Dojos usually have one or two Sensei, but this Dojo may have any where to 8 to 10 Sensei on any given night. Additionally, this has been a wonderful safe and encouraging environment for my 12 and 9 year old daughters. I am extremely impressed.

This school has moved! Take the time to visit and meet Hanshi Doug Perry and Sensei Lang. Perry is one of the most kindhearted, gentle (and exceptional) people you will ever meet. And Lang has a great group of down to earth instructors ready to meet you where you are mentally and physically. Whether for your kids or yourself, no matter your age or health condition, this is an excellent school. My three children and I wish we had found it sooner!

Our favorite part is the rich cultural experience! Learn the Japanese language and see Japanese culture from an entirely different perspective -- through the eyes of Okinawa! We have always been attracted to Japanese and Asian culture in general, but this school has vastly expanded our perspective. "Shorin" is the Okinawan pronunciation of "shaolin"... Be sure to read the history about this dojo! It's astonishing to see how direct the lineage is to Chōshin Chibana!

Fully traditional Okinawan karate, the real deal for self-defense, culture, and traditional values. Kyoshi Perry is a decorated Marine, former boxer, and at the very top of Okinawan karate in America. This dojo (school) was built out of the dedication of his students and is first rate.
