I love this studio! The classes are challenging and the instructors are very talented. The only thing I dislike as someone who wants to do yoga almost everyday is that there are no monthly unlimited class packages. So you basically have to buy 10 class packs for $150 or 20 class packs for $250. While I’ll miss hot asanas classes when I move, I am excited to be in Raleigh where the have unlimited monthly class packs for around 120 a month.

I also would like to add while I will always support the local small businesses- I do have an issue with the fact that they charge so much for classes that are so full that you are literally stacked on top of each other, they do not have a water fountain and expect you to use the bathroom sink for your water bottle, and they do not have mat cleaner. I guess it just comes across like they are more for the numbers and the money and less for the “client” experience. I thought over the years these things would change/ get better at the new location and they haven’t.

Their prices ($250/month) are about double what I paid for in DC ($135/month Flow Yoga if you want to verify) and in San Francisco ($100 for 6 classes/month). Crazy!

This studio is amazing! I took a class with Michelle Corwin and she was phenomenal! The heated room had great dimmed lighting, the environment was inviting, and Michelle was such a great instructor! This was my first hot yoga class and she came over and demonstrated the movements when I was confused and made it easy to learn! I would highly recommend this studio to anyone interested! I will definitely be back!

Good classes and awesome instructors. A solid combo of challenging yet relaxing (see below). However….2 things need improvement….1. Classes are too crammed. Not all but most that I attend. Either get a bigger facility or reduce the max number per class…. 2. The music is too loud. It’s supposed to be relaxing. It’s hard to relax when the instructor is yelling and you have to strain to hear the ques. Softer music, softer voices.

If u can tweak those, this place would be a 5!

Best decision I’ve made for my health is making yoga a routine healthcare “visit”. Great instructors and atmosphere. Popular times and holidays tend to get more crowded - prepare in advance

If I could give 6 stars I would! This place has been transformational to me in a great way. I needed a way to work on fitness during a life season that had mental turmoil. Hot Asana offered a great variety of classes, with many professional and inspiring teachers. In addition, I could go deeper into practice through retreats and teacher trainings when my time and budget allows. This is all conducted in an inspiring and safe environment delivered by compassionate and helpful teachers.

In short, the Hot Asana studio has made my life in the Southern Pines area so much richer and more rewarding. I am now living in the present more, and a with more positive disposition. I attribute this directly to the great experience I’ve had at this studio.

Hands down one of the best studios I have ever been to, period. Moved down here from NYC and was freaking out about losing my studio and literally stumbled into this gem. Every teacher I have had has been amazing. One warning, if you haven't been in a while you might want to avoid a 75 min, hot flow with Sammi as your first dip back in the water. By far the best and toughest hot yoga class on the planet. BIG FAN! Thank you team Hot Asana!

Ok. So I was hesitant to go here because yoga is not really my thing but I’m so glad I gave it a shot. Loved the instructor, the class, and the facility! The staff were warm and welcoming and I’m excited to go back.

I’ve tried various yoga studies in big cities around the country and Hot Asana is still my favorite. They have a variety of classes depending on what type of workout you want: slower yin, more fast-paced vinyasa, unheated rooftop yoga, etc. Instructors are great and the atmosphere is so relaxing.

Fantastic studio with gorgeous spaces for yoga practice. So far I’ve had Brady, Meghan B, Michelle and Ed. All excellent teachers who are superb with assists and their instruction, and have really helped improve my yoga practice. Many options for classes and the heat is always reliable and hot if it’s a hot class.

I would have given a 5, but had a negative vibe from one of the staff on the second day here visiting from NY. My first class on Thanksgiving was great. Very crowded and the music was loud but the class was great. Because I came as a visitor I asked for a borrowed mat. They told me you need to rent them for $10. I have been practicing for years and never been to a studio that charged for equipment. They waived the fee for me. I purchased from their boutique too and I asked about borrowing a mat again if I came back. They said sure!
The next day I came back and brought 2 more guests. One of the girls at the desk gave me the this degree about the rental fee making me feel uncomfortable.
The class was great, but doubtful I’ll come back when there are so many other studios to choose from.

This was my first time here and it was amazing! I attended the Hot Holds class and it was a truly awesome experience! The instructor was knowledgeable and had a great vibe. The other class participants were friendly and welcoming.

The small shop upstairs is packed with gems and crystals, reference books, yogi clothing and necessities. There's a small cafe in the back for juices and bowls. The interior design and flow of the space is outstanding. Can't wait for a roof top class!

I’m from Toronto where we have lots of excellent hot yoga studios, and I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years. This is one of the nicest studio I’ve been to. I’ll tell you about my experience. #1 a pleasant and helpful person answered the phone and helped me register, told me what I needed and showed me around upon arrival. #2Their rental mats included top of the line towels already spread out, so when I took my spot and unrolled my mat- voila! The building is gorgeous. Main floor cafe/retail with Lulu Lemon, trendy stuff yogis love - flowy dresses, bags, crystals, books. Basement all studios. Beautiful exposed brick walls, candles everywhere (battery operated). Excellent instructor. I LOVED the class. Hot hold. Exactly what I needed. Stretch and strength. As hard as you want to make it. No overly complicated positions. Still yoga. Cool towels at the end a nice touch. Apparently they have a rooftop for outdoor classes! Must check out next time.

This was my first time at hot yoga and holy heat it was awesome. Such a great physical and mindful experince! A lot tougher than I thought it would be, I can't wait to come back and do it again. Sammy was an excellent guide and kept the flow moving well the whole time. 10/10 would recommend and definitely plan on coming back.

The girls were all stuck up I guess I didn't look the yoga part enough to be treated the same I could physically hear 2 of the girls snickering an make rude comments about my body type as waited at thr desk it seems like the place to go if your body is perfect otherwise they will just make you feel horrible about yourself I'd love to see them finally shut down but too many soccer mom's fund it oh well just not a place for Norma uglies like me I suppose

I used to go to the Durham site. I was looking to get my money back but it was not refundable. They offered virtual which I was none too pleased. But, I did it—and it was delightful! I was comfortable in my own space and I got a mighty work out. They are very attentive as well! In the warm weather, it works very well to utilize to the outdoors. And I feel safe. I am even thinking about buying more because I like it so much—def recommend Asana.

i took a virtual class with Olivia Boyd and she is simply the best! I was nervous about taking a virtual class, but Olivia made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I look forward to taking a class with her again in the near future and would highly recommend it! :)

Magical! Love everything about it! So many class options! A teacher to fit everyone’s style! Because let’s face it, we aren’t all the same, so neither are their teachers or their teaching style. Amazing space! A lot of love and thought went into that building!

Have gone here countless times and today was the first time ever having not that great of an experience. It felt like I was at a spin class. The music was so loud I literally could not hear the instructor. There were more than a few moments where other students and I were looking at each other with confusion to what was said.
After class, had coffee with a friend I attended class with who also agreed that it was too loud and felt like a spin class. My ears were literally ringing and numb as though leaving a concert.
Spoke with another friend of mine who has had poor experiences with people who work there and would never go back.
This is very unfortunate because it's the nicest yoga studio I've yet been to.
I try to attend a class Everytime I'm in town. This was the first of a hundred that it's been a negative memory. And to hear from another friend the same day about her poor experiences....is very unfortunate

Hot Asana, please offer more Warm Flow & Flow to Yin classes + We need 75-90 minute classes not 60. I'm not alone, the streets are talking! The goal is to come to class 3-4 times a week, due to the schedule I make it once, sometimes twice a week.

I took one class when I decided it wasn't the yoga I was looking for. It felt very much like an aerobics class. I was also surprised to hear pop music playing that you hear on mainstream radio stations, which distracted me. I have been practicing yoga for a very long time, and this just surprised me; I liked the end when I received a towel and massage and everyone was fairly friendly, but I'm not into this uber trendy workout yoga.
