I’m not big on writing reviews, but after this experience I felt it was necessary. To start, I’ve hosted a few events at this location before, so I was already familiar with the business. This time, I decided to host a bachelorette party for my sister, and unfortunately the entire experience was very disappointing.

The owner came across as very nice initially, but once I paid the deposit, she didn’t even confirm whether it was received. As most people know, when planning large group events things often change. I originally booked for 15 people, but before making the final payment, I notified her we would only have 10. To be clear, I communicated this on Tuesday and the class wasn’t until Saturday. Her response was to send me a screenshot of her “no show” policy, stating it was the same as if people didn’t show up the day of. She emphasized that there was no option to downgrade only upgrade. Of course, once I paid the final balance, she never responded again. At that point, it felt less like fair business and more like a way to keep money, regardless of circumstances. I even expressed that her website did not state this policy, but she never addressed it.

On the day of the event, things didn’t get better. Our class was scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM. The instructor arrived at 7:42 PM but told us to wait outside for 10 minutes, and we weren’t let in until around 7:53 PM only minutes before the class was supposed to start. I will say, the instructor herself was kind and did a great job with what she had but the business side was not prepared for our party. We were promised a punch that was supposed to include liquor, but instead received juice in a bowl with a bottle of empty liquor on the table (no ice or anything) with just enough cups to go around.

We specifically booked the P Valley theme class, but we did not receive that experience. While we learned a few pole moves, it was not the class we actually paid for as I’ve personally attended the P Valley theme class here before and know the difference.

Overall, it felt like they were more focused on taking our money than actually delivering the experience advertised. While I appreciated the instructor’s effort, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to provide what was promised left me very disappointed. I would not recommend booking a large group event here without being prepared for potential issues and hidden policies.

Update after owner’s reply:
Even in your response, you’re not being truthful. Your website says nothing about not downgrading, and this was not mentioned in our initial conversation. Please be accountable and honest. The complimentary punch should have been as described it was juice, not liquor. And most importantly, you did not address the fact that we did not get the P Valley themed class we booked and paid for (we absolutely tried to make the best of it and knew this wasn’t of any fault to the instructor). To be clear, there was only one instructor present, so the staffing explanation does not apply. Your reply, much like my experience, comes across as dismissive and a bit condescending, which aligns with what other reviewers have mentioned about the lack of accountability when your business falls short. Please consider taking accountability….it will get you much further than continuing to be dismissive.

We had a time! My besties surprised me with a pole dance class for my bachelorette weekend and Sasha did not disappoint. Her energy, music selection, talent, and ability to connect with each and every one of us is beyond a 5- star rating. We will definitely be back! Thank you Sasha!

I was absolutely not going to participate once presented with the idea for a bachelorette activity...but so glad I did . Our instructor Sasha was amazing! We booked the P-valley theme and had unforgettable time. Sasha was experienced , kind , and made us feel comfortable in getting completely out of our comfort zones. I loved the fact that she boosted confidence in our abilities for everyone regardless of size. Looking forward to attending another session. ❤️

10/10 experience with Sasha! Recently attended a session for a bachelorette party of 13 people. Most of us had never done any type of pole dancing, but once we walked into her space, we immediately started to feel comfortable. Sasha was fun, welcoming, helpful, and very good at what she does. She was super attentive and patient with us. We all had such a great time. Those of us who are local are planning to come back just for fun. Highly recommend booking Inner Diva Fitness. We enjoyed MASQUERADE PARTY very much. Dancers were Beautiful, poised and confident. Ambience was amazing.

I called today to cancel under serious circumstances (48hrs) in advance and they have a no strict refund policy. I asked if I could do a credit and re-book and I would have to pay additional 50$? EXTREMELY unprofessional unhelpful and did not take into any consideration the circumstances or cared! They do not understand business at all. Please do not book this place at all! They took my money and did not give me anything!

The company commented below : Ultimately, from a customer’s perspective trying to support this business. If you are having a party and decide to book this place please understand that nothing can happen to your event eg. (guest reconsidering, unexpected issues—problems) if you aren’t sure do not book them. Because this place will not work with you and keep your money.Please keep that in mind with booking this place especially if your booking within a week timeframe.

Booked this for a bachelorette party and it was so fun! The dance was challenging but manageable and Sash made sure everyone had help nailing the moves. Only down side was that there’s only 7 poles so half the group is sitting on the side at any given time. The class would be even that much better if they added a few more poles and/or an additional instructor.

I booked a bachelorette party here this past weekend for my girls and was beyond pleased with the experience. The instructors were super kind, patient, and a whole vibe. It was also sooo cute inside the studio. My girls had a blast and we would absolutely recommend this studio for others to try. I can’t speak for the classes, as we only purchased the private class, but overall it was so fun!

I started going to inner diva fitness to explore a new way to achieve my fitness goals. I gained so much more.
This studio is an amazing community with talented instructors. Each instructor has a unique teaching style that can meet anyone at any level. I have been attending classes at Inner Diva Fitness for 5 months now. In that time I have gained so much strength and surpassed my original fitness goals. There are many different types of classes. Something for everyone! I highly recommend this studio for anyone searching for a way to reach their fitness goals, try something new, have fun and be surrounded by a supportive community. You will leave each class feeling like a diva or divo!

BUYER BEWARE! They have very strict rescheduling policies where you get charged extra for needing to reschedule your party, so I would be hesitant and take your time booking. I have a January birthday and I got hit with major snow storms both times I rescheduled my party and each time it cost me $50 to reschedule. They didn’t care that my group was traveling 4 hours from another state. I was so turned off by their lack of customer service I decided to forfeit the $50 remaining on my account because I refused to pay them anymore money. I ended up losing $150 total and never had a party.

I went to Inner Diva for a year. Began my pole dance journey at Inner Diva and now I moved out of state and have tried other studios and literally miss Inner Diva every day! Inner Diva is a really really good studio because the instructors are detail oriented and really try to help you until you master the move. They also stress on doing it on both sides and always stress proper technique and form which is so important and sometimes absent in mediocre studios. The poles are super tall because of the high ceilings which is a bonus and the lighting at the place makes filming videos super cool.

I miss Inner Diva every day and am so glad I started my pole dance journey here! Also shoutout to Sasha for being professional and friendly always, I can't wait to come back whenever I'm back in Charlotte for the holidays.

Where do I begin!!! I booked a p-valley themed party for my birthday and we had some much fun!!!! I believe her name is Tay, my apologies if I got the name wrong, but she's was a great instructor, great personality, and I loved her!!! Definitely will be booking again and doing the weekly classes. This is safe space to be sexy and get a good work out in! Plus I loved it's a black owned business. Thank you so much for a great 29th birthday experience!!!!

I have been attending classes at Inner Diva Fitness for more than two years. I started when I began a journey to advance in my fitness and my self-esteem. I called prior to going to the first class and spoke with the owner who was very patient with me (and my millions of questions). I went to the first class and had the most fun I have ever had at a dance or exercise class in my life. This place is empowering for women and the staff is extremely supportive of you and your goals. You leave there feeling like you have not only gained a new set of friends, but also a whole new family. Since starting a couple of years ago, I have attended multiple different types of classes, held a party here, and performed in the showcase. I have had nothing but positive experiences and I recommend Inner Diva to all of my friends. Also, it's good to note - they welcome everyone here – all shapes, all sizes, and all genders. They are often busy, but always open to help and answer questions. I would encourage you to give them a try even if you are nervous or intimidated by the possibility of trying something different if this is a new experience for you. You won’t regret it!

I recently hosted a bachelorette party here. 13ish girls. They taught us 2 routines! The instructor was very friendly. They allowed a cooler! They also helped us take pictures! If your looking for a place to host a group activity this is the spot! Seriously, they really made us feel special.

Horrible. Do not waste your time with this establishment. They will start a class 15-20mins late that never showed up but the minute you show up 5 minutes late due to traffic because a class is scheduled during rush hour they will give your pole away. Save you coin and go else where

The owner is not professional at all! I signed up for a beginner class in December but did not know they would be closing for the holidays. This was not indicated on their website at all nor did I get a call alerting me of this. I showed up for the class; however, the doors were locked. I immediately called their number and the owner answered and said "oh I was going to call you in an hour to let you know we are closed for the holidays." She said I could redeem the offer in January or receive credit. I told her I didn't know if I would have time since I was out for the holidays and looking for a heels class. I live in the Lake Norman area and thought that this was a University area location. Well, long story short I was not able to make it in January and called to see if I could redeem later. I also stopped by the establishment many times to find the business closed everytime. I know the ratings give them 5 stars and maybe my experience is an anomaly but I would not support this business. Ever!!!
The owner spoke to me in a condescending tone over the phone both times. Also, she tried to charge me for a no-show on the day I showed up to find the doors closed. If I could give zero star-rating, I would.

I had an event today from 9-11am, the owner was there before we arrived. Though it was early and not the friendliest welcome we were able to set up quickly and get our Yoga class going. I did have to sign a contract and the poles are not included in the space rental ($75/pole) so we didn’t use them at all. I also had to provide liability waivers for my class participants, which was an easy fix if you download Smartwaiver Kiosk. There is a great amount of space to set up outside of the dance floor/pole area. It’s very clean there are two bathrooms and there’s yoga mats and other things for rent as well. Overall the location is perfect for a workout class however don’t bank on using the poles without cost. The owner is very straight to the point no smiles, just business.

The staff was not helpful and was not available at the time of appointment. They would not return our deposit .... after several phone calls and no answer They stated that it was our fault that THEY did not answer the phones. I would not recommend Inner Devil Fitness to anyone especially if you have to call them. They don’t answer their phones and trick you out of your money!!!!

I have been going to this studio for about 3 years now. I love Triphena and the other instructors who work here! When I don't go regularly due to my busy schedule I feel like I am missing something in my life. The classes are great and you get a REALLY thorough workout. I used to be a dancer and a cheerleader when I was younger so I feel like this gives me a chance to explore something new yet just as fun and fulfilling as an adult.

Love taking pole classes here! Inner Diva has a unique way of teaching that combines strength training exercises to help you progress faster. Have never experienced that at any studio before. This is where I train whenever I come to Charlotte.

I have had the opportunity to visit the studio on several occasions and each time it is a new and fun experience. The instructors are very knowledgeable and are able to break down each move into bite sized pieces. No matter your experience level, or your learning style, the instructors are extremely skilled at making you feel comfortable when teaching you each new move. I felt like a rock star the first time they got me into the inverted dragon position.

The studio also offers a variety of classes from beginners to advance. Each level is designed to help you learn the skills necessary to get to the next level. In just a short few weeks, I already felt like I advanced beyond beginners and they had a whole new set of spins and positions for me to practice to keep things fun and exciting.

The studio is cute and very clean. They have 13 foot spinning poles that can be locked into a stationary position as well as fun backdrops like the graffiti wall so you can take memorable pictures of your event. I will continue to visit Inner Diva Pole fitness.

My friends surprised me with a bachelorette pole party at Inner Diva Fitness. They opted to have a Bedroom Kandi consultant give a presentation. The consultant shared a few of the Bedroom Kandi products with us and incorporated several fun games into her presentation. This was a really fun way to get the party started.

Most of us were newbies to pole dancing, but our instructor was awesome and made everyone feel comfortable. She taught a few basic pole dance moves and then a fun and sexy pole routine. She even taught us how to adapt the routine to use a chair if we wanted to show it off to our significant other once we got home! It was so much fun and quite a workout!

A Pole Party at Inner Diva Fitness is a great idea for a bachelorette party or just a fun girl’s night out!
