I have been going to InsideOut for almost 20 years, and I cannot say enough good things about the facility, the staff and the care and detail that is taken for each individual's needs. All the instructors are top notch and truly care that you get the most out of each exercise/service. Love this place so much!

My experience at InsideOut Body has exceeded all expectations. I have been going to classes for over 2 years. All of the instructors are well trained, support a respectful environment of diversity, give clear coaching on how to perform each move, are considerate of individual injuries and capabilities always offering alternative options to support individual growth and personal goals. InsideOut is not like a gym class or yepy boot camp or other area Pilates classes I have tried. Love their well thought out classes where technic, breathing, flexibility, posture and strength are focus. A special call out to Megan who makes class fun and challenging! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

All of the instructors at Inside Out Body Therapies and friendly, encouraging and competent. The group classes are small enough that you get individual attention. Modifications are offered if you have physical limitations or are at a different proficiency level than others in the class. ANd there are lot of classes at lots of different times of the day

Classes at IOBT nurture your growth, strength, connection and mastery. The new studio expansion is filled with light and with a spacious feeling that allows you to leave class feeling rejuvenated and strong rather than depleted. There are offerings for all levels in mat, Cadillac, chair, reformer, strength training, Rolfing, structural integration and so much more. Each instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and will get to know you personally. Classes are designed to meet you at any level and teach you to understand how to maximize the benefit of your movement. All teachers are committed to helping you achieve any goals you may have.

I have tried every studio known to me and I can honestly say that IOBT is unrivaled in the industry. I cannot give this studio higher commendation. I am so thankful to be part of this dynamic and healing community.

Awesome Pilates studio with top notch instructors. They have all types of classes and levels... reformer, mat, therapy. My favorite class is Cadillac with Megan... she gives great instruction and feedback. My skills have progressed well! Highest endorsement!

My husband and I started Pilates at Inside Out Body Therapies a little over a year ago and we love it! Our instructor is amazing and we love all the staff as they are very supportive of our health and fitness goals. We feel stronger and more fit and plan to continue our equipment Pilates and hope to add a mat class or two to our weekly schedule. A heartfelt thank you to Kim, Meredith and the rest of the IOBT staff!

I've been going to Mischa weekly for SEVEN years now, and 100% give her credit for keeping me upright and walking after 10 years with ALS. Even though we laugh a ton during the session, she is laser-focused on my form, cueing where I should concentrate, and finding creative ways to stretch or strengthen whatever muscle I need to work on. Grateful doesn't even begin to describe my whole family's feelings about her brilliance (my mom calls her my angel!). But everyone I've worked with at IOBT is so impressive, smart, kind and just GREAT. You'll never regret the commitment you make to yourself & your body at InsideOut!

Fabulous space to meet the needs of ALL bodies regardless of ability. Meredith W did an amazing job encouraging me through my course of PT, and I recommend her and this practice 1000 out of 10.

Iโ€™ve been taking private and duet classes and absolutely love the experiences. Meredith is an attentive and kind teacher, sheโ€™s very knowledgeable of the body and her cues are always highly effective.

I love how supportive and encouraging she is, and being a physical therapist herself her teachings are very much tailored to the individual and their abilities and needs.

I've been enjoying the workout at InsideOut since the beginning of my pregnancy. Jessica is a wonderful and knowledgeable instructor. She is very attentive to each student's condition and always provides appropriate, clear instructions. My body really has benefited tremendously from Pilates throughout the pregnancy.

The studio is clean, organized and filled with great energy. The staff is also always very responsive and helpful. I'm hoping that I can return to classes not too long after the baby arrives.

I am bias because I do work here a few hours a week, but I started as a client and continue as a client. Fabulous instructors and acupuncturists. Quality equipment and the instructors take continuing education seriously. Because there are PT staff in the studio and a Teacher Training Program, special topics are often covered. Having instructors that can collaborate with the PTs in house to provide continuous care post-PT really delivers fantastic results.

InsideOutBody Therapies is a fabulous studio! It is light and bright and very clean. But more importantly, the instructors there are amazing!! Whether you are someone with an injury looking to increase your strength OR you want to become certified to teach Pilates, just know that you will be in the very best of hands. I came to the studio as part of my Pilates Teacher Training certification process and I couldnโ€™t have been more pleased with Mischa and all of the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with. Such a JOY!

I have been going to InsideOut for ten plus years. I have yet to find a studio that can match or surpass their level of attention, expertise and friendliness. The instructors and equipment is top notch and the space is beautiful and in a great location. I have taken equipment and mat pilates as well as TRX and worked with their acupuncturist and physical therapist. They are a well rounded studio that I cannot recommend enough. If you've never done these type of exercises, they are a great place to start and if you've been doing it for years, they can keep you challenged.

Awesome place. A great variety of classes and services and a staff with tons of knowledge. My wife and I swear by our regular TRX sessions with Adam Decker. And, when necessary, the IOBT team has done some impressive one-on-one work to solve a variety of mechanical body issues. Highly, highly recommended!

Iโ€™m so thankful I found IOBT. I needed to build my core for balance reasons and my sessions with Jessica have done that. The studio is modern and always introducing innovative classes for all levels. Everyone there is kind and I love how I know Pilates is helping me on a level my dr is happy with, since he suggested Pilates in the first place.

InsideOut Body Therapies is not only the best rehabilitation center in Durham, I consider it to be the best in the Triangle and one of the top places to rehab in the country. Their Pilates-Based Physical Therapy Program is second to none. As a Certified Rolfer dealing with many clients suffering from acute and chronic pain, I feel confident in referring even the most fragile people to IOBT. I have been doing Pilates since the early 90's and their approach is top-notch: classical, authentic, and innovative. Many of the instructors were trained at The Pilates Center in Boulder and most are PMA-certified. The instructors are caring and attentive; the classes and private instruction are challenging and fun; and the atmosphere is calm and nonjudgmental. Full Disclosure: One of the owners, Deborah Matthews, is my wife. I honestly consider her to be a rehabilitation genius and could not admire her skill and compassion more.

I started coming here almost two years ago with the hope that an exercise method that emphasizes core strength would help me manage my back and neck pain. I have not only felt positive changes in my body, but discovered the most welcoming fitness studio, from both the instructors and fellow clients - I truly look forward to going to classes. I've done PT here as well, and as someone who's gone to a lot of physical therapists, I love the whole-body approach that the IOBT PTs take.

InsideOut is a wonderful studio for a variety of Pilates and Yoga classes. Both mat and equipment classes are available with several options throughout the morning and evening. My favorites are Deep Stretch with Deborah on Saturday mornings and Yoga with Michael on Thursday evenings. All staff are wonderful and welcoming. It's truly a relaxing spot and a great place to enhance your pilates practice.

I love this pilates studio. I have been going regularly for 2-3 years. I had tried pilates classes at the gym before but it just made my back hurt. At InsideOut the instructors are making sure you are doing the moves with the right technique so you aren't hurting your self. If you already have an issue they help you modify the moves if you need to, and walk around correcting your position to make sure you're doing it right. Everyone is really friendly and it's easy to get to know the teachers and the other students because many people are "regulars".

Great Pilates studio. Cool ambiance, talented teachers, and good mix of classes. I've done floor classes for years and enjoyed the teachers' different styles and focus on technique. Pilates is one of those things that is much better done with a teacher than a video, as it is so technique-driven.

Pilates is great for exercise, abdominal tone (you'll get a six pack if you stick with it), overall muscle definition, and treating injuries. There are PTs on staff, and you can get sessions covered by certain insurance providers.

When I've developed challenges from overworking, such as carpal tunnel or lower back pain, I've been able to treat the problem by committing to regular classes. And conversely, when I don't do Pilates, issues flare up. I view Pilates as much as exercise as protection against back surgery

Despite some of the reviews about injuries, there are plenty of people who come to the studio just because they want a great workout. The crowd is mostly female, but there are a decent number of couples who do equipment classes together.

What's a bonus is you really don't sweat unless you're doing the Reformer, so you can go out afterwards.

If you bulk-buy classes, it works out to a pretty good deal. They also offer deals for newcomers. Try it!

I had 3 minor disc bulges and tried going to another physical therapist for months, but my experience at InsideOut has been much better for my back. I've healed more and the exercises have worked better. I feel like this studio focus on how to treat the whole problem. Learning Pilates has helped me stretch my body and identify real alignment issues. I felt like my Physical Therapist was extremely knowledgeable and had great expertise for my issues, showing me proper form, etc. I've also gone to a class and plan on being a lifelong Pilates junkie.
