I have worked with Mike Hendricks for almost a year now. I went to Mike to help improve my golf game and my results have been remarkable. Working with Mike has significantly improved my flexibility, balance, and strength. My game has been transformed from a lack of constancy off the tee to complete control. I now hit most fairways with improved distance. I credit Mike for my incredible game improvements since my playing / practice time has not changed. I would recommend Mike to anyone trying to improve their game and their overall fitness.

Mike Hendricks is my personal trainer I use for golf fitness. He uses Josh’s Gym. His golf fitness training has transformed my body into a more flexible, strong, and agile one that can create more club head speed without any injury. I’ve learned a lot more about how to stretch before playing, and key routines to maintain core strength. He’s very good at assessing strengths and weaknesses, and works hard to help me improve without injury.

Josh’s Gym is the Real Deal! I’m an avid golfer and have been working out with Mike Hendricks for several years. Mike is continuously helping me to achieve and redefine my goals of becoming stronger, increasing my flexibility / range of motion and balance. I’ve recently started working out in group classes with Josh. These guys know what they’re doing and are really fun to be with at 6:00 a.m. Without a doubt, these guys are truly improving my life and helping me to find the “Secret Sauce” when it comes to the enjoyment of working out. Josh is a knowledgeable and encouraging trainer- all the trainers I've met at Josh's Gym are friendly and helpful. There is a laid-back vibe and great music, with workouts individualized according to each client's goals and current fitness. It is a place that people (men and women of all fitness levels) come to meet their goals- no judging- and I have noticed most keep coming back regularly. It is not a big sweat box, but is a great gym with convenient hours that is worth the drive from Apex. I'm grateful I found it!

I have been a member at several large big box gyms but never felt like I was getting what I needed with those memberships nor the attention that I needed to keep me on my fitness goals. All that changed a few years ago when I found Josh's gym. I found the motivation, encouragement and personalized goals that keep me on track at Josh's Gym.
I never thought I would be that person that actually looks forward to going to the gym or feels guilty when I miss a few days but I now look forward to my training sessions with Josh and he makes going to the gym fun for everyone!

I'm reminded of the sitcom Cheers. Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name:-) Josh's is more than a gym or personal training studio. The atmosphere is friendly and all of the trainers genuinely care about everyone there. No one person is on the same journey or at the same fitness level, but everyone belongs and gets the help and encouragement they need to achieve their goals.

For most of my life I avoided gyms and working out. In my 50's I went into kidney failure and was lucky enough to get a transplant and a new chance at life. For Father's Day in 2012, my wife gave me a three workout gift certificate to Josh's Gym and since she also gave me one of her kidneys I felt obligated to try it out. I had joined a few gyms in the past, but had never really worked with a personal trainer.
Josh has changed my life. I see him three days a week and at 65 I have never felt better. He has worked on my strength, my stamina and my balance. I am able to do things now because his fitness plans are tailored to me.
I can not say enough about the value of personal training with Josh. He is a great teacher and motivator and I am eternally grateful. Get off the couch and give him a chance!

I've been using Josh's Gym with my trainer Mike Hendricks and he's great! I'm challenged by the workouts and I don't believe that I could do my day to day work as well as I do without my weekly personal training. Do yourself a favor and get Mike to give you a free initial consultation and see if having a personal trainer is right for you.

I highly recommend Josh's Gym. I've been working out with Josh for years. He keeps my workouts challenging and makes sure my form is correct so I don't injure myself. He's extremely knowledgeable and works with his clients on all aspects of health including nutrition so they can achieve their fitness and wellness goals. I can't say enough positive things about this place - you should check it out!

Josh’s Gym is by far my favorite gym ever. Josh is the best trainer and he’s always happy to help with all aspects of health...fitness, nutrition and motivation! He also has several resources at his disposal for his clients including a personal masseuse and a physical therapist. Seriously, check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
