Kidsport is an amazing gymnastics gym! Mrs. Kim is truly wonderfulβshe genuinely cares about her students and it shows in the way she teaches and encourages them. My daughters have learned so many new techniques and always look forward to attending their classes. The atmosphere is positive, welcoming, and fun, which makes it such a great place for kids to grow and build confidence. I would highly recommend Kidsport to anyone looking for a supportive and high-quality gymnastics program!

My daughter recently had Gymnastics Competition there. I don't know too much about the gym, but we have been there a few times, but I must say the atmosphere at this gym is awesome. I love the fact that they start their competitions off with a gymnast prayer for the girls and also stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

We signed my 8yr old son up at Kids Sport to improve his strength and flexibility and for general athletic improvement. I give 2 stars and not just one because the movements taught are beneficial, however, those benefits are not enough to continue taking him.
The gym conditions are filthy.... I don't mean a little dirty, I mean literally disgusting..... Parents with very small kids participate in the classes and walk on the mats with shoes on (as well as the instructors wearing shoes) coming directly from the parking lot.
The mats clearly do not get cleaned and when my son would leave the bottom of his feet would be black from the mats, I would wipe him with sanitizing wipes when we got tonour car just to get the grime off.
My son and I train Jiu-jitsu and there mat cleanliness is on upmost importance. No shoes, ever, on mats. Wipes all around the gym to wipe feet before stepping on. The mats are cleaned between every couple classes. Complete opposite of Kids Sport.
Beyond cleanliness, the instructors are unfriendly and act as if they don't want to be there.
I don't recommend Kids Sport, at all.

Kid sport is for all age groups, the kids who take the sport serious here can become a champion here. There is trophies all through out the building that prove that. They have great communication if daughter misses a day she can make her class up sometime through out the week.

Not the ideal environment for curious, active TODDLERS that would rather play and jump that stay glued to a phone or tablet. My granddaughter attended for 1.5 yrs. (Currently 3 years old) before we were told to withdraw her from a TODDLER class because she "doesn't listen". She was HUMILLIATED in front of everyone - a child! How dare they make her feel wrong for being a child? I do not recommend this place. Put your active kids in soccer or other sports that nurture their tiny beings!

I absolutely love Kidsport! It has helped my son immensely, he has become so much more confident and independent since coming here. All the instructors are incredible and Mrs. Kim is truly a gift from God, we love you! She truly cares about every child here and works one on one with the kids. We are so blessed to have found Kidsport!

My child loves attending class here! We love the owner, the instructors, the class, everything. The monthly cost is also pretty affordable. The instructors work well with each child and will take their time if someone needs extra attention in an area. They offer gymnastics and cheer. Younger classes allow parents to follow along the class and assist their child as needed.

I was blown away at the sheer disregard and lack of accountability at this center. My children were going to be a part of an overnight school "lock-in". I tried numerous times to register for this online, to no avail. I called 4 times the day before the event, and 3 the day of, finally leaving a message for someone to call back and help. Hours later we show up at the appointed time, and I try to pay in person after explaining the situation. They informed me that they were too full. I asked why no one called me back to tell me this and stated again all I tried to do to successfully register. To that, the owner replied with her palms up that this is Saturday and they've been busy with birthday parties all day.
So, as a recap, no one called me back, no one was understanding, no one accepted responsibility. They are, I'm sure, having a great time tonight. I am dealing with two kids who are crushed that their friends saw them show up and be turned away. It is absolutely unacceptable that no accountability was taken.
My family and I are taking our sleeping bags and having a camp-out night in the living room. We will show our kids that any negative can be turned into a positive.
I sincerely hope in the future a more appropriate and understanding response will be given to someone in our situation. It was not our fault that we couldn't register, as I tried every means available to get in contact with this business - but in the end, it did not make any difference whatsoever.

Always a great experience. The instructors work well with each child. My daughter was a student when they first opened. Now I am going there with her daughter. Repeat customer is always the best compliment.

The gymnastics classes are great. However, my only complaint would be the summer camps. There is no policy for kids devices, or if there is, it is not enforced. I did not send devices to camp with my boys, but they came home from camp each day having morphed into gremlins because they had clearly been staring at another kid play on an iPad all day. Other than that, I love it here and my kids continue to go, as they have for 3+ years now!

The toddler class has helped my child progress and learn skills that otherwise, she would not yet know. Most of the time, the owner leads the class and we "get our moneys worth" which is about $15/40 minute class per child. That's quite a bit when there's 6-8 children in one 40 minute class. No biggie, conveinence is worth some to us and we love seeing her progress and also enjoy learning what we can do to help her. Then there are the nights where we get an instructor that clearly (even says) they were thrown over there and the communication and skills with 2 year olds are non-existent and we feel like we wasted money and most of time. Our main concern from day 1, has been hygiene. Its clear the mats are not sterilized and people walk all over with their shoes on or go to the bathroom (shoes or barefoot!) And come back on the mats. The bathroom is tiny and not easily accessible because of so many people standing in the pathway therefore washing hands is a workout. Nonetheless, shoes should never be allowed on the mats and certainly not going to the bathroom then walking back out there. Included in the cost of doing business, should be a professional sterilization at least once per week then employee cleanings every day and night. There's a lot of kids, germs and sweat. Though conveinence has been nice, 5 minutes from my work, we can't help but consider seeking other activities or looking into Hillsborough classes because nothing is worth my child's safety and health.

Best. Place.Ever. The teachers are awesome, and the owner is so incredibly nice. I have made new friends with some of the moms, and really enjoy getting to watch my daughter learn.

Nice place but.... I donβt think kids should be allowed to go into the bathrooms barefoot and then go back onto the mats. Thatβs really disgusting and
unhygienic. Should also be no shoes allowed on mats. I really hope they address this issue.

Not Clean In There!
Think about it, if you walk in the streets with your shoes and who knows what you step on and then your allowed to walk on the mats that kids touch, roll on and flip using their head??? Shouldn't that raise a red flag? They need a rule that prohibits shoes in the workout area (including instructors).

Classes started out great and my child loved going but then summer session started, our class size doubled and we got a new instructor. We would have 8-9 toddlers in class and there would only be 3-4 activities per station which meant the majority of the time was spent standing in line watching others and trying to convince my kid to wait their turn. We were completely excluded from circle activities multiple times because there wasn't enough space for us. The instructor also wouldn't let the parents know when we were switching stations and didn't explain what we were to have the children do at the stations. It was very disorganized and instead of interacting with the kids she would often just be standing there. This went on for about a month before I decided to stop bringing my child. The gym was turning out to be such a negative experience for him that he didn't even want to go in the front doors. Overall I am extremely disappointed in how this turned out.

NO STARS. HORRIFIC experience. I've been calling for weeks, leaving voicemails to try to speak with someone about withdrawing my child. I never could get an answer, and only 1 call back- which she told me she would have the manager call me back after her private lesson, who never did. Very unprofessional. The first 2 classes were fine, the teacher was great. After a couple of classes, there was a new teacher who did a horrible job at teaching 4 year olds. Very impatient, rolling her eyes, not guiding my child when there was confusion, skipped my child's turn many times. I'm not paying to watch my child being mistreated and sitting on the floor. These kids need structure and patience, and my child got anything but that. After 3 classes of hoping the original teacher would reappear, it was just a repeat of the same horrible experience. I really felt sorry for my child. That's when I had enough and took my child out-which I had to request on a voicemail. My child got to the point where he refused to go to gymnastics when he use to be excited to go. Still they decided to draft another $60 out of my account when he hasn't been there. That's when I tried to call once again today and finally got someone, "Brittany". I asked to speak with a manager and she stated "that's me". I told her about the draft and she said she would be refunding. She was very rude and refused to hear about my experience at kidsport. It wasn't just today...every single time I have been to the desk, from registering my child to asking a question, she is very rude. She will be having a personal conversation, see me waiting for assistance, turn to finish her conversation, and then acknowledge me. I'm just appalled at the unprofessionalism at this place. What a waste of money.

They seem to be good at what they do. But it's honestly the filthiest gym I've seen from here to the west coast...every square foot and office is a cluttered filthy mess. Spend more time cleaning. Seriously not exaggerating...

Instructions were helpful and concise.
My niece's first "class" went well and it looks like a good gym! I didn't see any unhealthy competition or "driving" just encouragement and proper technical training.
