I have really enjoy working out at LKN Athletic Club! The classes are always challenging and fun, and they help keep me consistent and accountable. This gym is honestly a hidden gem. They have a wide variety of equipment and a lower monthly price compared to others in the area. They also offer military discounts.

LKN = 30 a month
DHF = 97 a month unless you sign a 2 year contract… even with that it’s 70 a month

No brainer. LKN also has more equipment and they keep it up to date. It’s clear LKN cares about their client base and isn’t looking to up charge.

Great classes and instructors. However doing business with the facility requires you to come in person at times convenient to management. Same with an orientation to using the equipment. So if you need any help, and have limited time, this may not be the best venue for you.

Very welcoming Gym. I’ve been part of this gym for over 2 years now and the staff are like family now. The owner is amazing, and have met great people.
They recently added brand new machines and new work out programs, and let’s not forget there are work out sessions for all ages, that can adjust for all schedules and child watch for the mom’s that can’t leave babies at home! Very fun place to work out at and build great friendships.

I have been researching gyms in the area and found this one that met my needs. I decided to stop by after work (5:30pm) to get more info and sign up, but despite the website saying they have someone there until 6, they had left for the day. Definitely looks bad for a potential customer.

I moved across the country for school, I signed the form and brought it so I could cancel my membership. Three months later I notice money was missing from my account, I called and explained the situation and how I didn’t want to pay anymore since I am so far away, he told me someone would call me regarding a refund. It’s been almost a week and I’ve heard nothing, and I was billed again. If you plan on living near the gym it’s a decent gym for the price, just plan on staying.

Horrible management.
We were told that in order to cancel membership, we just had to submit a 30 day notice. Then when we go to cancel, we are told that we are not allowed to cancel for a whole year.
Sneaky management/ownership. And horrible upkeep of facilities.

I communicated with this gym before my year end contract was over and told them that I wanted to cancel my membership at that time. They said sure no problem. Two months later after my contract has ended I’m still being charged a monthly fee. When I called them to dispute this that’s when they told me it was an open contract and that I would be charged until I physically came in and signed a piece of paper ending the contract. Once I went in to do that, they then inform my that I would be charged an additional $50 monthly fee because they couldn’t stop the bank draft in time. Just to be clear, I had more than 2 weeks until the next draft of my account.
This gym completely lacks professionalism and communication. I am happy to say that I am no longer a member and I would not recommend this gym to anyone that I know.

Beware. I went to this gym for over a year. When I moved ( over an hour away) I called and asked if I need to come in and cancel my auto draft payment. Whoever answered said not necessary and they can do it over the phone. 6 mos later, I’ve changed banks and turns out I have over $300 in overdraft fees from LKN! I called to dispute and was told that I had to come in and sign a form to cancel. Basically told tough luck. The dude “allowed me to cancel via email because I lived so far away. So basically, they don’t need a signature, they just hope you forget to cancel and keep drafting you. Do not recommend.
