In just one year, our girls proudly participated in five championships — including the 35th World Taekwondo Championship 2024 in Kentucky, two South Carolina Championships in 2025, the National Championship in Utah 2025, and the 36th World Taekwondo Championship 2025 in Kentucky — bringing home first and second places! 🥇🥈

When we first joined Master Changs Martial Arts, we were simply looking for a good martial arts class. What we found was so much more, a space where discipline meets kindness, and every student is treated like family.

We have been bringing our son and daughter here for 3 years. The last 1.5 years under new management of Master Chang's. The instructors are in tune with our kids, knowing when to push but also keep it fun even with a joke.

They also attended summer camp and enjoyed it so much, my 11 yr daughter WANTS to go back to summer camp next summer. This after complaining she was too old for camp with little kids.

My two kids (8 and 6) have been going to Master Changs for about 6 months. They both love it, are learning a lot, and it seems to be helping them with their overall skills and behavior. The Masters/trainers are excellent. They’re great with kids. whenever we invite someone to watch their train they are amazed by how well all the student listen and follow instructions. Highly recommend this dojang.

I’ve been attending Master Chang’s Martial Arts for about a year now, and I absolutely love it! The programs are tailored nicely for adults, providing an excellent combination of fitness, skill-building, and stress relief. I always leave feeling stronger and more energized after a great workout. The instructors are fantastic—knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging—and they create a welcoming environment for everyone. I only wish I had started much earlier! If you’re looking for a way to improve your fitness, relieve stress, and learn martial arts, I highly recommend Master Chang’s.

We showed up for a trial class. No one was at the Front desk. No one was anywhere to be found to assist us. We walked towards to open room and walked in when the class was supposed to start and we just stood there while the teacher ignored us. He didn’t acknowledge our presence at all, didn’t tell our kids to join the class. He just ignored us, even though we were clearly standing there. Eventually someone else came in and took our kids to the class. The class went well, however the class was supposed to be from 5:30 to 6:15 but they ended at 6:05.

We left and will not return. Martial arts is all about structure and inclusion, and we felt very excluded in this unstructured environment.

We signed up for Sangrock for their after-school program for my special needs kindergartener. The entire staff and every instructor were thoughtful and patient with him. Despite his fear, they encouraged him without pressuring him.

signed my boys up for classes...its a daycare that has martial art instructors-lot of noise from the other room with kids screaming and sometimes coming into the taining room-they required a contract (first clue) then another charge for every test (another clue) then as they advance we are charged for gear and weapons that must be purchased through them at an inflated price or they cant attend any further classes (last clue)...if you want to buy your belts and promotions then youve come to the right place...if you want to truly learn an art then look elsewhere...we havent been back but are still being charged $220/m until our contract is up...two thumbs down

My kid has struggled with lower extremity weakness/balance issues since birth due to a health condition. She started in Sangrock’s after school program and within 6 weeks has drastically improved her strength, confidence, discipline and fostered new friendships. This is the first year she hasn’t required physical therapy to keep up developmentally. When I pick her up, I oftentimes find her playing legos or socializing with other kids. It is way better than her coming home and getting in front of the TV! Plus she gets her heart rate up every day. I feel like Ms. Monica truly cares about our kids wellbeing.

As long as the Singh family owns this organization, it will continue to be a subpar example of, not only how to run a successful, customer-centric business, but just a shadow of the martial arts facility it could be. We were part of the after school program and their martial arts program for over two years. While the vast majority of the employees were fantastic and took great care to ensure that the parents were kept in the loop concerning all aspects of the program(s), the communication from the top was always gumming up the works. Now that the location we were using (Golf Links) has been sold (after over a year of tumultuous public arguing between the "potential owner", an instructor at the location, multiple employees and the owner Grand Master Singh), things have only gotten worse. After speaking with one of the employees at the Wesley Chapel location, in an attempt to get our totals for child care expenditures for last year, I'm confident that we made the right move in removing our kids from this program. Sam was rude, dismissive, uninterested and generally useless. Monica Singh was equally dismissive in replying to my requests for this financial information. I'm sure this isn't the first time the Singh's have heard negative feedback on their business practices as my attempt(s) to converse with GM Singh regarding issues in the past were met with the same core values displayed by my conversation with Sam and Monica.

If you're considering taking your children here for childcare and/or martial arts training, they can do the job. Most of the employees are solid. But, know that eventually you will run up against ownership level issues and you'll most likely be left banging your head on the wall looking for solutions that they just don't have.

I unfortunately had to quit at blue belt, but the place is very friendly. All the instructors are caring and our Grandmaster pushes us to the sky, since that's our limit. If you want your child to grow into a taekwondo student, this is the place. Not just buy to become one.

Sangrock is more than just TKD. This morning I had parent-teacher conferences and I heard- courteous, confident, respectful, leaders- from both my kids' teachers. BlackBelt World Union County is the best Taekwondo school in Union County. If you want to see improvement in your children or child's behavior, focus, self-control, discipline, fitness, and coordination. As a parent I like the balance and fitness and mental clarity I get from practicing Taekwondo here at Black Belt World Union County. Great place to practice Taekwondo as a family. We have been here for a couple of years now. We love this school!!

Great place to go for authentic, first class Taekwondo instruction! I've been training and learning from Master Pesantez for years now, and he is definitely the best in the area. His patience and skill with teaching students from 3 years, to seniors is amazing, and one of the reasons he's a blessing to the Union County community. The Instructors and staff here always do their best for the students and parents, and the After School and Summer Camp are fantastic. Thankful to have an organization of this caliber and professionalism in Union County!
