What an amazing, supportive, and nurturing community at Monarch Movement Company! The dance instruction has helped my daughter grow and gain confidence. We love Monarch! We’ve been with them since they opened and have grown in our participation each year. Stephanie and her team create a really supportive and intentional community focused on helping the kids grow as both dancers and humans. It’s more than just dance, it’s about how to be a kind human, participate in something you love, and show up for your friends. The dances are also fun, inclusive of all types and abilities, and always creative. We’re so glad Monarch is part of our Hillsborough community!

My child has been dancing with Monarch for 3 years and LOVES it! This year she decided to join the Kaleidoscope team at Monarch because she wants to be more involved in the community and dance. I have had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Stephanie for a long time. I promised myself when my Daughter was at the right age to join dance (back in 2018), she will join her class. Here we are 4 years later and continuing to LOVE dance and the teachers they have. The teachers are wonderful, loving, caring and I love seeing the bond they build with their students and the confidence they teach the children.

P.S.- My daughter had an older buddy for summer camp and was ecstatic when she finally learned to tie her shoes! (after many attempts at home). Even building a bond with the older girls has been a great experience for her. WE LOVE MONARCH!!

We enrolled our 5-year old daughter at Monarch Movement when they first opened in 2021. At the time, we were looking for something meaningful and fun that she could concentrate her energy into. Three years later, we had no idea it would instill in her such a deep love of dance and of performing arts in general. We have also been so impressed by the skills and techniques she's acquired. She comes home teaching us "first/second/third positions, arabesques, relevés, jazz squares, jazz walks, pas de bourrees, body rolls, dabbing...etc. Owner Stephanie has a wonderful vision for her studio and implements it with her whole heart. Ms. Brooke is truly one of our daughter's favorite people--she has literally told us "Ms. Brooke is my idol!" All staff and "elder dance-helpers," are welcoming and friendly. We are so glad we chose this dance studio and will continue to be proud Monarchs for years to come!

This place is amazing! I have been so happy with our experience at Monarch Movement so far. My two littles are dancing here and they really love it and look forward to it each week. All staff members are so kind, welcoming, and friendly. The communication is great, the environment is so positive, inclusive, and accommodating. This is the best crew!

So far since I've been with this studio, I've felt really welcomed and loved by all the people here. The instructors are all so nice and the kids really care! I even got a card from Monarch on my birthday! Though small, it's energy makes up for it.

We absolutely LOVE Monarch. My three year old daughter is in the little girls ballet class and looks forward to it each week. Ms. Stephanie is so sweet and so great with the little kids. She is kind, patient and keeps their attention in the class. Ms. Stephanie is also a mom and this dance studio is super family friendly. I had a lot of questions when we were signing up and Ms. Stephanie emailed back and forth with me so many times and was happy to do so. The studio is just super supportive and welcoming and I hope to keep bringing my little dancer for years to come!!

Yin Yoga with Stephanie has been the highlight of my summer! Stephanie's calm voice guides me through an hour of self-care each week. You don't want to miss this class!

I've also enjoyed Brooke's Adult Hip Hop class. Brooke's energy is contagious and makes the learning space fun and inviting for people of all levels. I am not a dancer, but Brooke's teaching style is clear and allows access for even the untrained dancer. Join us for lots of fun in their new studio space!
