Phoenix Therapy is highly recommended by OrthoCarolina and is a great resource for locations in both Denver, NC and on Hwy 150 near Slanting Bridge road. I have used them twice for both Shoulder Rotator cuff/bicep surgery and most recently hip replacement. I highly recommend them due to their high level of professionalism and friendly staff that make you feel extremely comfortable and convinced their skills will get you back to normal or better condition. It's much better than traveling to Huntersville/Mooresville with great results.

I'm doing aqua therapy here under the instruction of DJ, Jonathan and Tracy. DJ started with a consultation/evaluation and then we toured to the pool area. Should you need it, there is a chair that lifts you and puts you into the pool. Very clean and the gym was busy but looked amazing too. Music is a plus to motivate me and relax my soul.

The Physical Therapists at this location were absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately the front desk Receptionist and the Accounts Payable person are not. I was being treated at this facility after a car accident. There was some confusion with the billing on one of my visits. The receptionist was attempting to collect the amount showing. I was appalled that she discussed this personal and private business matter in front of other patients. She was loud, aggressive and very argumentized. I tried to explained that there had to be an error, which it was. However she continued being rude and abrasive. She treated me as if I was trying to be deceptive. So to minimize my embracement I tried to ended our conversation with," You all have to do better with your bookkeeping." To which she replied, " It's a computer issue not payables. I EXPLAINED," Sweetie it's bookkeeping, someone has to input that information." I then took my seat."

The lady standing behind me said, " Wow why would she do that in front of us. It's absolutely a record keeping issue. She is so unprofessional. I agreed with her. By this time my therapist called me back. I was asking her about the billing issue. The young lady came from behind the door where her desk was located. She interrupted us and continued with her antics. I started to walk out right then but I needed my treatment. I went back once after that. On that visit I had a different therapist who was late and unattentively, so I didn't go back.

Recently I was speaking with the accounts payable person. Some of the notes from my visits did not state that is was for a car accident. My lawyer's Office asked if I could call and see if they could make those changes. The person I spoke with was not very accommodating to say the least. She acted as though she was agitated by the call. This lady told me that they had already faxed those records over and that no changes would be made. She said that it was noted on the first visit and that was enough. As an attempt to get what I needed, I requested that she please send a letter stating that all visits were do to a car accident. She agreed to do so and we ended the call.

I did not complete my treatments with this facility because of the lack of privacy and professional. After speaking with the accounting person last week I thought I may need to share my experience with others. The Physical Therapy is the best around. Unfortunately some of the staff need to remember the importance of a Person's Rights to Privacy, Customer Service and Common Courtesy. Solely based on some of the business staff for Phoenix Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Denver NC., I would give them a zero if I could.

Post 16 weeks from a pec tear, I was having pain / tightness that felt like a constant charlie horse. I was skeptical of the effectiveness of dry needling but after ONE session... I felt release of the fascia / muscle tightness. Want to give Dr. Kelly Ivey a huge shout out for dry needling / Phoenix Physical Therapy And Sports Performance. If you are considering this procedure, know it does not hurt and you will feel better. Looking forward to the next session.

I have gone to Phoenix Physical Therapy and Sports Perfomance for almost 4 years. Tatum and the the staff are very professonal and make you a part of the family from the moment you enter this awesome up to date facility. I’ve been treated immediately after shoulder surgery with a great and shorter recovery period, I’ve been treated for back issues where no other facility could find the problem to help me gain strength and lead a more productive life. I also have dry needling done there every three weeks to help release pressure points in my neck and hip. Do they deserve 5 stars? no they deserve 50!!

I didn't finish strength test, but at least they do a though check before they start you on programs. The physical therapiest take time to get to know you, and treat you great. I couldn't feel like I've known them all my life. The receptionist is so sweet and takes her time to make sure of your next appointments threw the month and has a beautiful smile. For the first time I feel safe around people I just meet and I would tell others that this is a great place to go to. They know me by Delois or DJ.

After several months of severe pain from plantar fasciitis , a stress fracture, and nerve damage, my insurance network was looking for someone in my area for deep treatment. My wife recommended that I go to Phoenix Physical Therapy. They agreed and my life has changed. My pain level went from 9 to 10 to 0 - 1 in what I feel was a short period of time.

The doctors, Kelly and Heather, used great methods of treatment that is hard but very effective. When I first went there, I couldn't even stand for them to work on my left calf and foot. Now I can't wait for their therapy.

I would recommend anyone to try Phoenix Physical Therapy because it was the greatest medical decision I have made for my life! They are very professional and strive to help you with your medical needs.

This is the BEST physical therapy place. I made so much progress in a short time after my total knee replacement. i am 65 years old. after a knee replacement and a hip replacement both on my left side , while on vacation i managed to break my femer bone also on my left side. i was in a hospital in fla. and nursing home for 2 weeks. i was told it was possible i would never be able to walk again. i spent one whole year with not being able to put any weight on my left foot . i felt hopeles. after a year i was told to be careful not to twist it in any way. i used a walker only went out to doctors appt. or something very needful. been on pain pills for some time before my broken leg due to ruptured discs in my lower back. the doctor could not give me any more pain pills . she said we had to find some thing else to help me. this doctor was my regular doctor. she was concerned at the amount of pain pills i was taking. one day she said sandy would you be willing to do some water therapy? i heard of a place not to far , in denver. she said i may help with your pain. i said ok . lets try. i did try the pool but my pain level was to much to do the movements of just changing clothes. i felt that was not for me. so they put me with one of therapist on dry land. lol its been 3 months or more , as i was leaving from my appointment today someone said hay sandy you forgot your cane!!! wow! from a walker to just my cane and now i can almost do with out it. my pain has droped from 10 to 2 or 3 some times 0 pain. i glady go twice a week. they are all working towards making us feel better and less pain. would i tell others about phoenix? i have to , everyone wants to know how i got to moving so good. and you just read what i tell them. i am sending a great big thank you to them and my therpist johnathon. need help ? go give them a try.
