I get off work at 6am, this location apparently isn’t open. I will say the app and the door at this location say mon-thrusday it’s opens at 5am closes 11pm vs weekends 7am-7pm, more concerned about the weekdays It’s not open…lights on tv is on but there’s no one there at 630am again the door and the app says it’s supposed be open. I don’t get why only close 7pm on the weekends?yall can’t do at least 9pm It’s when most ppl are off😶like most ppl work 9-5 so again I gotta know why it’s bugging me😂

We were forced to planet fitness in asheboro due to the fact that our our planet fitness was closed to new equipment being installed. This was explained, and my guest was charged ten dollars unfairly. Our email from planet fitness told us to visit the closest one to our current location and we did! Corporate office was called and I found out that Ashboro was not truthful to corp office. The assistant manager could have signed up my friend to silversneakers since she is over 65. It's very unfortunate the associate manager does not know her job and is not friendly

I do not recommend it. I have been to other Planet Fitness facilities and I have never had this problem with my payments. I have to pay 25 each month and I have a backup card. They wait for the days to go by so they can collect 40 from my backup card. When I call, they do not answer and there is no other number I can contact. This has been happening every month.

Planet fitness has all the machines to give me a great work out! Staffs wonderful they’re always busy cleaning taking care of customers as soon as you walk in the door greeting you with a smile when you leave they make sure to tell you to have a day thank you for coming. All the employees seem to really enjoy working there. They probably could use a raise. I hope they get paid well because they really do take care of the customers with all their needs.

Its not 24 hours! The 30 minute workout room was an issue for me and I canceled because it was a chill place for people to go and get on their phone. They lay there on the equipment and you would have to ask them to move or skip that machine and come back. Problem with that is, its usually more than one person holing up a machine and you forget which ones you missed. Reporting it made no difference. Also, they have many tanning beds which causes health problems and no red light therapy beds that help resolve issues with muscle injuries and soreness. Too many inconveniences for what you'd expect from a gym.

Workout here every Saturday. Change up from my regular gym. I think they need to really rethink the boys or transgender males in the women's locker room
I'm afraid my daughters might get in that position and I'm going to have a major problem with that

Was asked to leave yesterday 5/16/2024, due to being accused of not cleaning equipment,,,, Very Rude staff that has No clue how to decontaminate their equipment and all the other members DO NOT clean machines adequately,, I Canceled my membership immediately,,, several other patrons were also harassed about the way they were using machines and their site,,,Recently a Naked man come out of the shower in the Women's locker room and the people that told staff about this incident were told to leave and Never return,,,,I would recommend boycotting this place,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,CPTKIRK.

Great! I recently moved and It was my 1st time in this PF. When I came in I mentioned my move and that I needed to switch my home club to this location and by the time I was leaving the nice gal behind the desk stopped me, called me by name and told me she was able to switch it for me so I didn't have to worry about doing it. She was so helpful and saved me lots of time trying to figure it out. *** Also, standing tanning booths are a huge plus at this location***

I am so discouraged to say that I have been all across the nation and have never felt so stereotyped and secluded by any staff member, especially a manager, at any Planet Fitness Gym.
I have been a loyal and cordial black card member of PF since 2017 and have never had any issues with any PF gym up to this location. I am hoping to hear from someone higher up than a location manager in hope that once I explain my perception of approach into this matter, they may conduct a thorough and transparent investigation of my several occurrences here.
This matter included a manager at this location so Im hoping that the many staff members that knew me personally, will be allowed to be honest and transparent with the many events that they also witnessed on the way that I was always treated and approached by this individual manager.
I had never had any issues with any previous managers at this location and have been attending since November of 2022.
I don't want to expose any infractions on this website and would rather handle this matter internally, if feasible.

I signed up for my black card out of state, as I travel full time and use PF's all over the country, but never have I had someone Karen out they way Cheyenne did. She chased me after I scanned my keychain like it was some incredible emergency, looked up my name incorrectly, and told me I couldn't use thebgym bc she couldn't find me. I asked her to look me up by my phone number and she wanted to argue with me about it, when I asked again, she did, and lo and behold she found my account.
In the locker room, there are never enough hooks. It's such a cheap and simple way to improve the whole shower experience. I don't understand why so many Planet Fitnesses fail to install more hooks. Furthermore, why would you install a towel hook inside the shower stall where your towel will get soaked?
I will say Cheyenne corrected herself quickly, though. Appreciate that she just put a smile on and did look up my number. Seriously, darling, in this day and age why are you working so hard to be a Karen for this gym? You should get a raise for caring so much about a corporation that doesn't care about you back.
The 3 stars is for planet fitness company for not paying you more. Cheyenne deserves 5.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the PF in Asheboro! I stayed away for years thinking it would be too 'light' of a gym, if that makes sense, I gave them a try because I was getting tired of the older crowd and crowded/limited workout space at the Y. Now I do all my working out at PF and will hit the Y for a Sauna/Steam session but that's it. Really can't beat what you get for $20 a month here at PF but it would be nice if they'd double up on some of the weight machines (like the chest/back fly) b/c it can get crowded and it's a tad annoying when that is the last thing in your workout for the day and someone is on it taking an unusually long time to use it. I've certainly never seen anyone fighting over a treadmill since they have so many so I'm thinking they have the space they'd just have to trade some things out.

Worst gym I’ve ever been too. Had a membership for not even 3 months and during those 3 months was charged a total of $120 on my debit card. Tried to cancel right after I got it but apparently talked to a “scammer” on the phone so when I went up there they claimed my membership was still active. Only went once the whole time. Explained the situation & still was never refunded any money or helped in any way.

This place would be great if it was open 24hrs. Most people have jobs and limited time to workout after work, especially on weekends when they close at 7. If one works on the weekend then no gym time for that individual.
By opening the gym only a limited time during the day that creates congestion from everyone trying to go those few spare hours after work. Not a great combination when you have Covid still around.
If workout anytime had a bigger location I would not bother with planet fitness.

The single staff person at the desk was very friendly and accommodating. I am an out of towner and had to tend to the process of letting an out of town member use this particular facility. The staff member was helpful and patient and efficient. I appreciated that. Additionally, I found the layout of this gym to be preferable to that of my home gym.
