I was visiting from out of town and Juan the GM, immediately set the tone — super helpful, walked me through getting a membership on the spot, and even explained how easy it’d be to transfer everything back to my home state. That’s leadership in action.

Joe and John held it down too. John especially came through with the insider knowledge on the extra services. Took his advice and hit the Cryo Lounge and the Body Enhancer after my workouts — elite recovery vibes.

Pulled up two days in a row while visiting family for the holidays and the experience was smooth, friendly, and professional across the board. I’m walking away impressed and ready to transfer my membership to my local PF.

Glad to see they finally have free weights. I only go there when im in a bind and cant make it to my usual gym but, now that they have free weights I will use the eastchester facility a lot more. now if they could get dumbbells to at least 110’s. maybe they are figuring out people dont use planet fitness for the “judgement free” zone crap. they go there because it’s typically 50-60 percent less money per month and they have about probably close to a million dollars in cardio equipment in there.

Loving the New Equipment Upgrades!
I’ve been a regular at Planet Fitness for a while now, and I just have to say — the new machines are a game changer! The upgraded strength training equipment feels smoother, more ergonomic, and gives me way more variety in my workouts. I especially appreciate the addition of plate-loaded options — they give me more control and allow me to push myself a little further each time.
It's clear that the team really listened to what members were asking for. The gym layout still feels open and welcoming, even with the added machines, and everything is spotless as always. Big shoutout to the staff for keeping everything organized and helping people get familiar with the new equipment.
These upgrades have seriously boosted my motivation to show up consistently. Keep up the great work, PF — the improvements are noticed and appreciated!

I just went into the gym after the recent remodel and boy am I disappointed. Some idiot decided to remove all of the ellipticals, and add a million stair climbers. This is an absolutely stupid decision. I come to the gym for cardio equipment, and now I have to stand and wait for a machine. Management so badly wants this location to be like the larger facilities, but it's not going to happen with a smaller building. We don't need 10 stairmasters and 5 ellipticals. For the love of God, please bring back the elliptical. It's a standard piece of cardio equipment. This was one of the worst remodeling decisions Planet Fitness has ever made. 0/10 stars. I'll pay for a YMCA membership before I stand and wait to use a machine.

Have to edit this and take out a couple of stars. One of the 'regulars' who is ingratiated with the staff or at least one of them berated me for 'ruining their video' they were filming. Mind you I was just existing waiting for them while they filmed during the 7PM evening crowd on a one of a kind machine. Meaning there is only one of these machines and dude was filming away while people waited to use the machine.

Long story short, don't come here if you want to be filmed, or at least be prepared to be chewed out if you are in the vicinity of this particular regular. Otherwise it's a good gym with sufficient equipment.

I’m a truck driver and parking is my first concern, this location gets 10 stars, no signs and don’t ruin it, park in the back and take the short walk. Hot shower, water fountain not cold was the only thing, clean location and all equipment up to par. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area, thanks a lot

I like coming to this location however the low prices attract some interesting people. I hate the fact that people are standing behind you and watching you work out it’s creepy to me sometimes I fear walking out of the gym when I am ready to go home.
Also I was on the stair master and a another member was on a machine in the ab area for over 40 minutes; I was finished with my workout and proceeded over to that machine and kindly asked if he was finished with his workout on that particular machine. It was a very nice conversation but they need to be mindful that others are here to workout and it’s very disrespectful to sit there on the machine while they are scrolling through TikTok. One more thing is that members often take up 2 machines I watch and see that they do one set on one machine then walks over to another machine for a set on that machine. This is not their personal gym they should be more respectful than that!! I appreciate the low prices but it draws a different type of people the kind that doesn’t care about others !

With that said, I travel consistently for work and have been here over the mar 9 months. How are your, as an employee (not manager), going to try and tell me that I'm "only allowed to use amenities once daily, and anything ender is a courtesy. "

We pay money to use this facility and the amenities, regulated by the company we're paying money to, not what you think.
There is no restrictions regulating how many times you use a massage chair, so long as you're a human being and are mindful of anyone else trying to use it.

The staff at this location are very friendly. They greet you as you come in and as you leave. I have visited other locations, and have had to walk almost all the way to the other side of the gym for paper towels to clean the machine. At this locations, things are well maintained. Also being able to go at night helps since I am running kids places during the day. Just a nice atmosphere with nice staff and extended hours! Shout out to HARLEY, she is always cleaning, never standing still and goes out of her way to help in any way possible! She even knows my routine!

Had a meeting with a trainer today was not helpful at all. I know more than him and he couldn't even give me a workout plan to help. Absolutely a waste of my time. Gym is good if u know what u need to do. Was supposed to have the trainer for a hour to help push me and train for an hour today and tomorrow. But im not wasting my time again.

I went back in today and I just want the owner to know that Reggie Sullivan is amazing I told him my problem and he took the time to show me and work out a plan and is even willing to workout with me to make sure I know what to do to achieve my goal. I signed up for myself and my three kids (two adult and a teen) for the black card membership. That would be $100 a month. We went the day we signed up just to use the shower. Immediately upon arrival, my son and I went to shower. Before we could even get ready to shower, Mike W came rushing into the bathroom. He yelled at my son that he couldn't be in there and to leave. We were both extremely confused. Mike said "you can't be in here, come on girl." My son told Mike he was a boy and Mike continued to tell him to come on. I spoke up and said that he was a boy. Mike then left the bathroom muttering to himself. I am very hearing impaired but even I could hear him saying "yeah okay whatever." I immediately took my entire family to the front counter to cancel our memberships. There was definitely a better way to handle this situation than to yell at a 13 year old boy and embarrass him in front of a room full of people. My son no longer felt safe there.

Promoting gym etiquette and enforcing rules are not a priority for the staff. Members who are compliant are often made uncomfortable by those who are blatantly not!
On March 7th, 2025, between 6:30 PM and 7 PM, in the area of the dumbbells, a member was in a full choreographed dance routine drawing ample attention while frustrating many around him; a behavior that was a contradiction to the PF advertisements.
The two employees behind the counter acted very reluctant to immediately address the subject about his gyrating dance moves on the floor and bench. However, employees will quickly sound the sirens for someone mildly flexing in the mirror.
Therefore, I'm extremely disappointed in the PF employees' general lackluster observations and approach of unbecoming conduct.

I misplaced my weeding bang, not of much monetary value. But my live depended on me getting home with that symbol of commitment on my ring finger. I went to the front desk and ask for help. I believe my savior name is Cheyenne. She calm me down, she saw the sense of agony and despair on my face. She immediately jumped to action. And very soothing voice was asking me to please help her retrace my steps. I followed blindly. PLEASE DONT JOIN PLANET FITNESS.I have had a terribly experience with this planet fitness. I put my account on a freeze and when the freeze ended I was billed for 2 months without being notified. Luckily I caught it and I'm only out $50, but it could have been much worse had I not noticed. I called and was told I could be refunded and when I came in the manager would not work with me at all and had no sympathy for my situation. He refused to give me the phone number of his boss and told multiple lies about contacting the higher ups including giving me 2 wrong phone numbers. This is a very frustrating circumstance and it is clear to me that planet fitness has no issue scamming people out of their money. PLEASE DONT JOIN PLANET FITNESS.

The WORST experience ever at a planet fitness. I came to this location because I was out of town for a company event my actual home gym is in Indiana but why should that matter I’m a black card member and I can go to any planet fitness. I went in and at this time it was about 3pm it moderately busy I went to the far back of the facility to stretch and jump rope. I picked up jumping rope recently as it has tremendously helped me with weight loss, focus, endurance and many more things. I have always been able to jump rope at all the planet fitness facilities I go to but this one in particular I could not. I literally felt attacked by the manager on duty at the time who was a Hispanic man (didn’t get the name) but he was very rude and insisted that I jump rope outside and to leave the facility and asked me if this was my HOME gym. I didn’t get hostile in any way and I just began to pack up my things and leave after I did that I went to the locker room and I had to get my gym bag I left in there and there was a gentleman in there mopping and i asked him if it was true that planet fitness banned people to jump rope in the facility and he said yes….THIS IS THEY AREA THEIR TOWN YOU ARE JUST A VISITOR. I asked him who is they and he said what color are you?who do you think? He said WHAT THEY SAY GOES DOWN HERE. I said but the gym is full of mixed individuals from all races what makes me different? I felt judged which I thought planet fitness was a judgment free zone, I felt scared because of what he was telling me like I can not go anywhere in North Carolina planet fitness because I’ll get racial profiled for going to the gym to jump rope. I have been a member for years and after this experience I feel like canceling my membership and never going to a planet fitness again this felt traumatizing.

Clean and welcoming with a large workout area. The Thirty Minute Circuit is accessible and the red/green light worked well for keeping me on track.

After the workout, a shower. There is no specific changing stall for the showers which is a bummer. The shower was small but plenty of hot water. A small shelf inside for balancing my stuff and then back out into the common area to dry off. I'm sure none of you are interested in seeing my pasty frame wearing nothing at all and I'm definitely not interested in see y'all. Changing stalls would be a nice add.

Planet Fitness is true to their description of themselves as a place where people can feel comfortable, as opposed to intimidated. I was a member of the YMCA, but I was very unhappy there. Their "kids and stay at home moms first" attitude (I do love children, but it made me feel slighted) was very off-putting to me, and I felt like a second-class citizen, and it got extremely uncomfortable. I like going to Planet Fitness because I feel comfortable there, I never feel intimidated, and I feel like I get treated equally. That's conducive to achieving my goals, and it aligns with my needs. Furthermore, I was happy to learn about their involvement with the humanitarian causes of St. Jude as well as the hurricane victims.

Staff is extremely nice, helpful and understanding. Ami was so helpful transferring my account from Planet Fitness, West Market St. to Planet Fitness Eastchester. I went for an appointment with a trainer at Planet Fitness, West that was scheduled for me by the staff on 8/21/24, at 6am, no one ever opened the gym and no trainer ever arrived. Myself and others waited for 1 hr and finally left at 7am.I refuse drive to a gym and pay for a gym that was so unprofessional, and inconsiderate of its customers, this is my reason for transferring to Planet Fitness, Eastchester. Thank you Ami for making my transition so easy. Now that's customer service.

I love coming here after work during the week and when I’m off on the wknds. The best of this planet fitness is privacy! The ladies shower very HOT plus it has two curtains one white inside one black outside to keep you warm and conceal. There’s a
soft matt on the outer part for slip proof protection and the changing rooms have a lock on the door!

The best planet fitness in terms of cleaningness. Not smelling like chemicals but rather clean. Great employee attitude. They are friendly. The showers could be bigger and there is no change room. There could be better pressure on some of the shower heads. But the machines are nice and there is enough space between them.

There is also a weight scale machine which is a plus. Not all planet fitness have them.

This gym is spacious and has a lot of workout equipment than I’ve seen at any other planet fitness gym. However I did not appreciate the way the Jose approached myself and my family. My family and I arrived at planet fitness around 10 am, and each had to check in separately. There were 2 employees working behind the counter. Jose targeted us, being we were a group of 3 black American members around 11:40 to inform us that my nephew couldn’t wear crocs after being there for almost 2 hours. There were others there with non athletic shoes but we were the only ones to be approached. And then as we were walking out Jose was having a conversation with the other 2 employees about Mexican coke smh. My family and I will not be returning due to being uncomfortable with Jose’s approach.

I love this location! Always clean. The same lady has cleaned there for years and she does an amazing job. She even moves the equipment (cardio) . One of the reasons I prefer it over Sports Center. Sports Center bathrooms are nasty. Also, the entitled members at Sports Center (patrons) don’t clean their equipment after they work out. Here, at PF, about 90 percent of people clean their machines once they have finished their workout. All of this cleanliness for $10 a month? Yes, please! One small note- here lately, it has been super hot in there but I am hoping this will stop as temps get warmer.

The staff is always friendly when I’m coming and going. Always helpful. I love the variety of equipment available, and the availability of the chair massage or Hydro massage after my work out. Great experience so far.

This gym is the best in the area! I've previously worked out here and have been able to relax and enjoy my workout experience. I highly recommend this particular gym, as well as all planet fitness locations.

Stopped in today for a workout and I'll have the say the gym area is very nice! The locker rooms are nice as well but the toilets could use some cleaning/attention as mentioned in a previous review. Workout equipment and area were nice and clean and staff was friendly. Parking lot kind of fills up I'm assuming due to the trampoline park next door but all in all one of the nicer Planet Fitness locations I've been too.

They have good equipment, but the place is disgusting. For the last 4-5 days the same toilet has been clogged in the ladies room. Once, I overheard one employee telling a new employee that on weekends they don't do much cleaning. If the place was cleaner, I'd give it more stars, but it's honestly gross here.
