Clean...clean.. clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We go three times a week, there is always someone on duty cleaning machines,which, of late, is a good thing because there are a few people,members, who do not,will not have not cleaned their machine after using. Come on people, I'm not your momma and don't appreciate cleaning the equipment before I use it and again after I'm done. Next visit I plan on ratting you out if I see it happen, not a, "oh I forgot moment", but a moment of I don't give a crap.just a heads up. Come join this location it's really nice.

I hate the remodel so much. I couldn't find the machines I wanted to use. I felt I spent more time walking around looking for what I wanted that I didn't have a good workout. I loved the express workout room because it had everything I needed and now it's gone. Most likely will not be back

Yesterday I went in to cancel my membership because I rarely use it since this location is not 24 hours and I am a night owl. Since it's already paid for this month, I requested to use the tanning bed. I am rather fair-skinned, so I never stay in for more than 5 minutes. The employee has to enter the time you request on their side, so the customer has no control of it. I wear glasses so I can barely see without them. I was standing in the sun bed and I was thinking this is longer than usual. I squint and look at the timer and low and behold it's already at 6 minutes 40 seconds. I quickly exited but the damage had been done. I am burnt to a crisp, red all over. I can't help but feel it was spite for me canceling my membership. If I were not already canceling, I certainly would be now. I had never had any issue with this location up until now. That was incredibly messed up.

I have been coming here the last month now and I really love the staff in the morning. They are friendly and are accommodating which I appreciate. However when I come in Sunday mornings not really a fan. The blonde headed girl who works on Sunday mornings she flat out lied to me. I asked for number 1 on the Hydro massage because I have found that is the one which has the warmest water temperature and after a workout it feels nice on the muscles. I know number 1 isn't always gonna be available so when she said it wasn't I was gonna asked to then be put on number 4. Another reason is because I don't like being dead in front of that door, however she didn't even give me that option and was like no, but I will put you on number 2. Number 2 the water is for one cold and in front of the door. I walked back there and guess what nobody was on number 1 and I was the only one in there. The girl told me number 1 was in use. Nope I was the only one in the massage room. So yes I was a little annoyed. Could I have walked back up there and let her know yes, but her attitude from the jump was not polite. And there was no reason to lie about it. I wasn't trying to be picky with selecting number 1 I just know the water temperature is perfect so if it's available that's the one I will normally choose.

If zero stars was possible this place would be worthy of having none. I go in to planet fitness and this white guy in at the desk tells me I can't proceed. I'm an invited guest. That racist white man told assumed I was a minor, told me I needed my parents to sign for me and honestly just made me feel very attacked. The funny thing he didn't question others. If you ask me, they need a whole new staff and management team to properly run that place. Would rate this lower than a 0 if possible. Has been charging me for 3 years and will not return my money after we canceled this membership. Said they could not find my account. Then once found said... oh yeah, we can cancel it but can't return your money. We have not used our access card in since 2021. Incredibly unprofessional. Even lied to say they can't do a refund. I've had an account with another club and they did the refund just fine when they realized they screwed up. This is a "policy" enacted by an awful management/owner. Very unprofessional. Shuts down bathrooms while patrons are working out. So they can clean on their time instead of just part off the bathroom so customers can shower or use the toilet. Spoke to the manager and was told that that is their policy so that they don't have to work longer. How are we as paying customers with memberships supposed to use the shower and toilets if they shut down the bathroom during our time when we are finished working out. At least clean one stall at a time so we can wash up. Very unprofessional policy. Thomasville planet fitness is one of the worst facilities i have ever been a customer at... I spoke with the club manager and he told we are not going to change our ways of doing our jobs even know it interferes with our patrons.

Been a member for years now of many gyms. Planet I use when I travel for work during summers. (5 years now) and this is the first time I’ve been told to leave for grunting, my girlfriend also stalked by a worker because she accidentally dropped a weight on a machine. So they walked around with her for 8-10 minutes to make sure she didn’t do it again. Ontop of this, this morning I’m told I’m not allowed to check in more 10 times or I have to pay more. I go 5-6 days a week , always have. Never had problems.

I was skeptical at first of PF for years after going to the Y mostly but honestly the staff is friendly enough, they have a lot of equipment and its clean, what more can you ask for? Honestly thinking of cancelling our Y membership, the only reason I keep it now is for the Sauna and steam room but the Y is so dated it's kind of depressing going to it. the absolute worst planet fitness i have ever been to. i have never had any trouble at the ones in Winston. they are always kind, helpful, and understanding. this one in thomasville though- AWFUL. the staff seems to just stand around all day, and don’t try to go out of their way to help in any way whatsoever. the first time i went to the thomasville location was the first time I went as a mbrship owner, I have gone to previous locations as a guest. i told them it was my first time going and they didn’t offer to show me around give me any information or anything! i also brought my 16 y/o nephew who is visiting from Indiana. They would not allow me to have him workout with me. One of the staff members said “unless you have guardianship PAPERS” like what? I’d rather drive 30 min to Winston than workout at this establishment.

The gym was great it self but I bought a $10 pass to go in the gym check it out I wanted to buy the black card I never left the gym so i asked to buy the black card and get my $10 to go to it they said no that I couldn’t do that so I’m never going there again I’m not paying more than what I should pay for a black card I’ll just stick with workout anytime! I go to Thomasville and I brought my nephew with me to work out. I’m a black card member and I was looking to have a good time working out with him. Well as I checked in and we proceeded to the to the gym the general manager >> I didn’t get her name hollers hey sir we have to check in you’re guest so I said ok that’s fine. So we go back to the counter and boy was I stunned the so called general manager would not let my nephew use the bathroom until he has been checked in? And then she argues with my nephew telling him DON’T GET A ATTITUDE!! > WOW! >>This upset me! >> Yes he was being respectful. And then stating he is not 18 and that he is more less lying about his birthdate how would she know?? Long story short I will be canceling my membership and going to a different establishment No thank planet fitness This General Manager was very disrespectful and needs to be reviewed by area manager unprofessional!
