Plenty of room, equipment, always clean, friendly staff, and items like the red light therapy, relaxation pods, and cryo lounge that none of the planet fitnesses in my area in Greensboro have.

Best shower experience I’ve ever had at a Planet Fitness, nationwide. Stall was so large that the hook was inside the shower, 2 showerheads with configurable pressure and hot water didn’t run out. They had 3 olympic weight lifting platforms. What an absolute gem. Would come back to South Carolina just for this gym hahaha

I had a great experience with the planet in Ogden Wilmington. I received great help from one of the employees named Hudson. Noticed unfriendliness with one staff member Stayed on her phone after attending to a white lady. Didn’t even care to make eye contact with other colored persons until a slim white girl showed up and saved us. I have been with this club for over 15 years and never seen anything like this. My wife and I traveled all over the country in our van and we visit every planet fitness This here in Wilmington NC is shocking.Maybe only certain people are wanted here. Megan does a terrific job at this location. Not only am I always greeted with a smile, but I’m also greeted by name each morning, which as a person in the hospitality industry, means a lot. Her customer service is impeccable, and she does a tremendous job of ensuring all the equipment is properly maintained, working, and the gym is clean. Overall it's a decent gym. I picked this one while in town for work because it had the highest rating. My problem comes in to the upkeep of the showers. I've been here 2 times a day for the past 3 days. Using the same shower which is the only one with a curtain. The others have doors. My problem with this gym is that they do not clean the bathrooms. I've been looking at the same wad of nasty hair over the drain, the shower next to this one has tissue and bandages in the corner, still for days. Idk how long it's been like this before me but it's really disheartening and uncomfortable to wash in a shower that you know hasn't been cleaned. I come early morning about 8am and again late night about midnight. Same wet floor signs that they never take down, who knows when the last time the restroom was actually sanitized

Absolutely love this Planet Fitness! It is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You can tell this location very much embraces the “no judgement zone” motto that Planet Fitness offers. This location has almost every single perk you could ask for from Planet Fitness for a reasonable price. They have massage chairs, hydrotherapy beds, tanning beds, and more. It’s also fairly large so I never feel cramped or like there isn’t a machine available for me. 10/10 would recommend!

This gym is amazing. The staff at the desk are always friendly and welcoming each and every time. The gym is the cleanest gym I have ever gone to and that includes the locker rooms. Machines are always in working order. They have lots of equipment so very little waiting if any. The Hydro massage chairs are fabulous!!!

The gym itself is well run and ALWAYS clean. I would be happy to give it 5 stars. However, this is consistently the least friendly group of PF gym goers I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. I travel and keep the Black Card so I can workout in whatever city I am visiting. Not a single PF crowd from Indiana to Tennessee and Kentucky and into Charleston SC has a less hospitable group of members. Not even close. I love my workout time and make a point to not interrupt anyone else’s. But if I’m walking by and nod and say hi in passing… people ghost each other like they are some kind of royalty. Pathetic really. Do better. You’re rude.

One of my favorite planet fitnesses I’ve been to. Very clean facility, nice staff, so many machines that you won’t see at other planet fitnesses that aren’t as massive as this one. Love the different rooms so everything isn’t so close to each other. The locker rooms are updated, always super clean and smell like air fresheners. If you’ve been to a lot of gyms you know how terrible the gym and locker rooms can smell, not here! They keep ontop of everything, always cleaning the restrooms, you’ll even see them lifting machines while another employee vacuums under them. When I moved here from the city, I was expecting to have to search all over town for a gym that would have everything I need. I went to Planet Fitness for five years, powerlifting gyms, CrossFit gyms, and this specific planet fitness outdoes them all. All the staff and trainers are in phenomenal shape, and are always eager to help anyone that has any questions! It’s amazing to see that the employees are fellow gym goers, that’s why they set the bar so high for this facility. Keep up the good work and thank you for creating a safe, clean, respectful environment for us!

Been going to PF on Gordon Rd for nearly 2 years. It is a good gym. Not too crowded. Excellent staff and very clean. The only issue I have is the TVs on the exercise equipment has issues. If TVs aren't important to you then you will love it!
For me, I desire to watch TV and catch up on news. Today, 11/15/24, three TVs I tried were buzzing with intermittent signal interruptions, no picture. I have reported numerous TVs for no sound, buzzing, no picture, no signal etc. Happens almost every time I go which can be 3 times a week. I have talked to the district manager. He promised me he would fix it about 6 months ago. When it didn't get fixed the reason was a new employee, then sickness and over the months has not improved at all. I have given up. I changed my membership from Black to regular. Hope it improves soon!

In light of the recent events of a man being found deceased in another states PF I just want to stay that every time I come to the Market St location there is always a staff member cleaning or walking around checking things. Megan was rude and aggressive. She also lies and exaggerates. I was in the gym for sometime because I am from out of town. It was a safe place to wait to go to work. And my lodging is not ready until tonight. I am in town for three days. She accused me of sneaking in until she saw my receipt for paying a fee as an out-of-town member. This is a nice, clean gym with great staff, but if you’re someone who works out in the evenings after work, it’s almost a waste of money. I’ve been using this gym a couple evenings a week for the last few months and there are rarely smith machines open for use and sometimes the floor area is so congested, it’s hard to find a place to put a mat. I’ve tried coming slightly earlier or later to avoid peak busy time or switching up days, but I pretty much always leave disappointed with my workout because the machines/equipment I want to use is hardly available. It’s not as busy on the weekends, but I’m tired of feeling like my membership is pointless because I feel could be getting a better workout with my limited home equipment at this point. Will probably be cancelling my membership soon which I’m super bummed about.

High quality machines & equipment 'usually' available & clean w/out much delay. In summer however, parents drop off their kids unsupervised like it's daycare. People sit on machines for 15-20 minutes w/ no regard for standard gym etiquette. Tons of unsecured equipment on floor or tied to base of other machines make for unanticipated tripping hazards. Most weights are in a stack on a machine, however people move free weight plates or dumbbells to completely different areas of the huge gym making it hard to find & potentially dangerous. There's an annoying habit of many users to lay a dirty towel or bag near a station while they go to the restroom or use another machine as if it's a "holdsies" situation.

Megan is very ,,,,very ,,,,rude!!!;;;!;;+;++ unbelievably rude asking me questions... When I gave her answer she didn't like she threatened to cancel my my membership they told me to have a nice day is such a great place... How in the world they let this Megan,,, she is a very rude and ugly acting person work here is beyond me.

This location is bigger than Mechanicsville VA. The service was exceptional! And I look forward to the being my go to while I'm in Wilmington.
