Great Gym with amazing equipment. Ive been to gyms all over the country and this gym is up there in equipment. Middle aged women with glasses working the front desk will talk to you like you’re a child and does not realize setting down weights will make noise even if you're not slamming! Out of all the gyms I have been too (even planet fitness) I’ve never once had someone come up to me and tell me I need to set down weights more quiet…..Until working out here.

Well I heard good things about this place but I guess I'll never know I've tried calling and no one answered so are there specific days I can start a membership I thought staffed hours were 8 to 8 which if it isn't it should be posted somewhere for new members. Y'all don't deserve the 2 stars my issue was solve quickly and I'll be a new member soon thank you for the help

I love the friendly staff and I love that, unlike Planet Fitness, it is literally open 24/7. They are better than Planet Fitness about billing people correctly.I also like that they keep it quiet in the locker room. However the equipment is old and usually dirty and they seem to have some maintenance issues. But I do recommend this gym!

Excellent facility for any workout regimen. Clean and well-organized. Friendly, helpful staff. 24 hours with very competitive membership cost. Thankful that "Preach" allows us to work out here at the ALWS each year when we are back. Best gym I have ever been in-- and I'll qualify that with the fact that over 20 years in the military, I have worked out in gyms all over the country. BEST EQUIPPED FITNESS CENTER IN SHELBY!

The gym is clean, has plenty of equipment and it has a great atmosphere. The owner is very honest and helpful. I signed up at another gym because they had childcare but every time I workout I wish I could be at Profitness because the gym with childcare is not as good.

Terrible unprofessional staff outside of PREACH. Preach is knowledgeable and knows how to deal with any type of person or any mood. Other staff (Shelly and Hunter) are Terrible and unprofessional rejects that should work at Planet Fitness.

Pro Fitness is 100x better than The Rock.
New equipment and lots of it. Things get done by staff. They take care of needs, requests and concerns.
Equipment is clean. The gym is clean. Definitely a full turn around.
The Rock really went down hill. A MAJOR safety problem, in all aspects. Issues with equipment and members are taken care of right away.
People that cause fights in the gym are tossed out immediately, literally. (Thats usually after a warning or two depending on the circumstance).
Also people by the groups are no longer walking through the door for free and aloud to work out.
