The instructors are highly supportive and encouraging. The classes are designed to be inclusive, allowing participants to engage regardless of their fitness level, with opportunities to advance when ready. There are various class types that focus on different aspects of fitness, including cardiovascular endurance, strength training, resistance exercises, as well balance and flexibility improvement.

I love this studio. The atmosphere is warm and inclusive, and from day one I was supported as someone totally new to barre. I'm now 300 classes in and I still love it! All of the instructors are very attentive, helping you focus on best form and modifications when you need them. It was a great workout for me post-surgery, too, since it's low impact and can be modified. Lots of class formats to choose from so I never feel bored. Everyone is friendly, all body types are welcome! For one hour a few times a week I can lock in, focus on my body, and release the stress of the day, all while getting noticeably toned, stronger, and more flexible.

I love Pure Barre and the kindest of all instructors. I specifically love the option to take class before or after work since the studio has many classtime options. Jessie's classes are AMAZING. She is very knowledgeable of body mechanics and offers appropriate modifications when needed. I feel so much stronger since adding Pure Barre into my fitness regime.

This is te best 50-minute whole body workout on the planet! Every major muscle group gets attention (and a few minor ones you didn’t know you had!) The instructors are exceptional, well trained and very caring. It’s easy to modify exercises to accommodate any body issues. I look forward to every class!

Autumn and her team are incredible! Every class feels different, the music is always the perfect motivator, the studio is spotless and inviting, and you WILL see results after just a couple of classes. The instructors are all very talented, they definitely know their stuff, and somehow have the ability to remember everyone's name! I loved Pure Barre already, and have visited many locations around the country, but Pure Barre AVL is my very favorite. I always leave with a smile, and notice the same of the other clients.

Excellent yoga meets pilates meets ballet work out! Hannah the owner led our session and it was just what I needed, an attainable challenge! We also got the first session for free! The vibes were great, everything was very clean and if only I lived in Ashville I'd go back regularly!

THE BEST PUREBARRE STUDIO!!! I recently moved away from Asheville and started at another studio, and the Asheville studio is by far superior. All of the ladies who work there are wonderful and excellent trainers, who keep you motivated and always make time to explain the different positions and make sure you do them correctly. The trainers are amazing, as well as the people who attend the classes. This studio has the best and most positive energy, even at seven o’clock in the morning. In addition to that, the exercises really work, I have noticed so many positive changes in my body and I could not be happier. I have upper body strength for the first time in my life! I highly recommended coming here, I wish I still lived in Asheville so I could attend more classes!

The instructors at Pure Barre Asheville are some of the most kind, welcoming, and caring fitness instructors I've ever met. I always feel inspired by these folks. They're amazing. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Though it may look like everyone here looks the same - there are people of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds in the classes. While positive and encouraging, the instructors never talk about weight loss, but emphasize fitness and being stronger than you think you are. I love it here, and I would encourage anyone, regardless of identity or experience with fitness to join our community. It is such a supportive and caring space!

I’ve been coming to Pure Barre Asheville for about a year now and have been LOVING it! The studio is so welcoming and encouraging. All the instructors are great and they are such a fun group to work out with. I’ve always struggled getting into an exercise routine, but now I look forward to going to class and have gotten into a routine of about 3-4 classes per week! I even get out of bed and go to some of the 6am classes (say what!). There is a variety of clients of different ages & fitness levels so I recommend anyone (and everyone!) to come check out this fun and body-positive studio!

I have enjoyed every bit of attending pure barre in Asheville- very kind instructors and a great workout. The instructors are very attentive and encouraging, making adjustments throughout the class to make sure clients are getting the most out of their workouts. I have very little coordination (I've never played a sport, danced, or done much group fitness) so I was nervous about taking the leap to pure barre, but it has been a fantastic and welcoming experience!

I recently started Pure Barre a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. It is a great workout, both challenging and fun. I love the mind body connection I get while in class. I also love that I get an entire body workout in one class. In just a few classes, I can see a huge difference in my overall tone, flexibility and core strength. I’ve been at Pure Barre Asheville for about three months and it has been such a positive experience. You feel extremely welcome every time and all the instructors are so helpful and encouraging. I haven’t found one instructor I didn’t enjoy their class or wouldn’t go back, they all really want you to work as hard as you can but have FUN. The owner Hannah really cares about everyone that comes in and goes out of her way to check in on you. Some might be intimated before trying barre but there are always first time people coming in, all shapes and ages! It also has been so beneficial to my running and also overall core strength. I hope to have many classes here, it feels like a little community that I was lucky to have found!

WORKOUT OF INCHES!!!

One of the toughest workouts you'll ever experience in such a nontraditional way. I've been training and competing for decades upon decades in various sports, from pure running and cycling to triathlons, soccer, rowing, archery and more. Pure Barre is a perfect complimentary workout to any sport. It works, strengthens and tones all those little muscles that most of us forget are there until we strain or fatigue them. The Pure Barre Asheville instructors are legit. Not only are they very friendly and helpful but they also put together a mean workout that changes every week and is different from instructor to instructor. Once you finish exhausting 10 different muscle groups on one side your body, feeling the rush of excitement and relief after conquering that mountain, you flip right over to the other side and begin again. Contrary to logic, the smaller your movements the harder the work out. Think, up an inch...down an inch (words that will haunt you in your sleep...in a good way). In the end it doesn't last long. Pain is temporary, tight glutes are forever (unless you never try Pure Barre).

Pure Barre Asheville is amazing. The environment, instructors, classes, and most importantly the community. I haven't felt like just a number in a gym, but a person a part of a community when I'm at the barre. It's hard work and you will sweat, but looking in the mirror at myself and hearing the instructor say "you're stronger than you think" is so motivating. My friends have told me for 3 months now..."just try barre...one time...try it". I'm happy I did. And I say to you reading... "just try it!" :)

I love going to Pure Barre. As a child I enjoyed dance and ballet, so these classes are right up my ally! I never enjoyed going to the gym and always felt overwhelmed and out of place. This studio has been so friendly and welcoming. They help you fix your form and are very encouraging. I love the upbeat music to keep your motivation going. Pure Barre classes are very challenging, but still an enjoyable experience.

Very disappointed that this location doesn’t offer the free week to try it out. I spent a lot of time researching this type of workout and was very interested in trying it, however I am not paying a small fortune for something I may not end up liking. Having a week to try something is very beneficial and most gyms offer a trial. They shouldn’t advertise it all over the site “start your free week now” only to see little disclaimers that say this club doesn’t participate.

I love Pure Barre. Its a great quick workout that gives me the results I want in a really fun, fast paced class that flies by. Great music, great instructors---my favorites are Katie, Marissa, and Christina who have very clear cueing but everyone who teaches is excellent. Wish they had more weekend classes!

We travel to Asheville once a month so their option of buying a quantity of classes vs a monthly fee is ideal for me. Every instructor is friendly and helpful and I always leave feeling that I had a great workout. Since I'm not a weekly regular I'm not always familiar with the specific moves. The instructors make sure I make the needed adjustments to get the most from each workout and their positive reinforcement during the workouts is a great motivator. They make each participant feel welcomed and valued. Just an all around wonderful fitness experience.

I’m absolutely obsessed with Pure Barre. It is such a fun and addicting way to move your body. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and helpful. They are attentive and help me whenever I need adjustments for a pose. Having been hit by a car in 2009 I have struggled finding a routine my body can handle. I started Pure Barre in December with a co worker who has been going forever. After hearing her talk about how much better she feels, I decided to give it a try with a week free trial. I fell in love with the workout experience. I had never done low impact workout while trying to learn how to stretch and focus on certain areas of your body before. After the first day I could feel all those muscles I took for granted for years. I have been going for a month now and can actually see the results. I am a pure Barre lady for life !
