As of today my son (age 6) has been with pure Taekwondo for about a month or so. He is a "little ninja" and loves the instructor's and friends he has made here! He has learned to focus and listen, has become more respectful ("yes sir, yes ma'am") at home and in public, he is more confident in his ability to learn new things, and he actually wants to practice and show us how much better he is getting every week!
The gym is very clean, with plenty of space for parents to watch their children become more confident in themselves!
The instructor's here is awesome! They are passionate about their craft, patient with the children and have the best attitudes! They also offer a parents night out every now and again!!!

The taekwondo training and the teaching staff are both excellent.
However, they fail to see the wider picture. Obtaining a Kukkiwon certification after earning your blackbelt is the most crucial step. The final blackbelt certificate over here isn't recognized or valid. Students will never receive their own Kukkiwon license number over here, instead they get Master Posey’s Kukkiwon number on their certificates. It’s more like a referral/recommendation.
I'm not sure how many of you are aware that every recognized and qualified blackbelt individual should have their own personal Kukkiwon number (certified all the way from World Taekwondo Federation-Korea).
Keep an eye on where your money is going. Please research more on the Taekwondo center’s Kukkiwon affiliation. If you don’t know about it, please research and educate yourself before enrolling your child.

Years ago my father said to me “keep your kids busy. Into sports out of courts”. I’ve been a firm believer in this motto. So I was very pleased to hear my niece put my great nephew into TKD. Now I have all boys myself and I know how difficult it can be to keep them focused. My youngest did TKD in New England. Unfortunately the program wasn’t as focused as I wanted to be. (All of my siblings and I have been involved in USOC sports for decades). So during my visit I was very impressed with Pure and the owner/trainer. The witness the program first hand and could see the facility is designed to create the entire package of a competitor. Focused, driven, compassionate and active for personal success. Each child and adult has their own goal and level they want them to achieve. It’s not based on everyone meeting the same goal but what each person can achieve individually. So I have to say, being a father of boys who have competed in aAU Basketball D1, USA Soccer, and nationally placed with USA Roller Sports, I would say Pure TKD is the perfect place to bring your family to learn the Martial Arts.

I have watched my grandson flourish at this place. I know he enjoys learning and doing what he is taught. The teacher is amazing with these children. Pure has been an absolute blast for both my children. I have a 4yr old in the Little Ninjas class, and a 8yr old in the regular class. They are learning so much respect, focus, and patience. Fun experience for my son! The kids are engaged and learning. Every skill level is challenged, and the students are welcoming and encouraging of other each other. The facilities are very clean and I like that there is an area for parents to sit and watch. Highly recommend for children interested in martial arts. My son does have lung issues and a chronic cough and was under the care of a pediatric pulmonologist for this. He was taking daily oral medications and had an albuterol inhailer too, and some things that were said to him over his chronic coughing, made it was not a good fit for him, but he absolutely loved the lessons and all of the instructors seem highly skilled and enthusiastic.

Pure Taekwondo is definitely the best place for your little ones. We started with the after school program about 6-7 years ago. Today, we have 2 boys in the after school plus taekwondo. They push our boys to their fullest potential. They don't just "give away" the belts either. My boy's have missed belt graduations because they simply weren't ready. It allowed
them to understand that you need to work for the things you really want. ❤️ I've seen my oldest shed tears because his aniexty was telling him it wasn't possible for him to succeed and Master Posey stand by his side throughout that moment. During the first class he was too shy to even participate, but now he's at the front of the class, actively participating and volunteering to answer questions when Master Posey asks. He genuinely looks forward to going to class and to Parent's Night Out events. His confidence has carried over to school & home as well!

My oldest son and I have trained with Master Posey at Pure for a little over 5 years. Master Posey is not only a great leader but he is a friend to everyone that comes to Pure that is why we are considered and call each other family.
