I have trained at Queen City with all the amazing people there for over 7 months and it’s an incredible place. From the moment I called and had a conversation with Kelly, the owner, she made me feel so welcomed and loved. They accommodate every type of fitness level and make you feel so strong and healthy. They go through diet and fitness goals and discuss plans to accomplish them. They want you to be successful and feel your best. It’s never easy being the new person at a gym but this group of people is so welcoming and motivational, you feel like instant family walking in! I love Queen City and highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a gym that is personalized to you and a good group of people that make you feel your best!

Worked out here with friends this afternoon and I’m sad I don’t live in Charlotte. I would love to be able to work out with Kelley all of the time. She was wonderful and the vibe of the place was so welcoming and chill. I felt like I was a regular. My only complaint is that there isn’t one in my home town. Check this place out!

I've been training at QCT for about six months now, and I absolutely love it. I've always worked out solo at other gyms, but I really enjoy having a professional design my workouts and track my progress. I primarily train with Steph, who is incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, and overall really fun to work with. I can’t say enough good things about Queen City Training! Kelley has built such a wonderful community at this gym. All of the trainers are wonderful, and the space is so inclusive. I had planned to start attending one of the bootcamps last year when I injured my ankle, and Kelley was able to help me get started with one of their personal trainers (Calen!) to strengthen my ankle and maintain my physical activity until I could start the next bootcamp. Since starting at QCT, I feel so much stronger and am truly enjoying working out in a way that I never had before!

There’s no pressure to lift the heaviest weights or push yourself to exhaustion. Instead, the focus is on feeling good, moving correctly, and becoming the best version of yourself whatever that means to you.
A huge shoutout to my incredible trainer, Erin. I look forward to every workout every week - she is not only incredibly knowledgeable, she makes sure I'm taking care of my body through proper warm ups, and workouts that I'd never do on my own. Erin is so fun to workout with and doesn't make me feel embarrassed if I need to use lower weights, or do less reps. She's always in my corner.
Kelley, the owner, has done an amazing job creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere—it’s the kind of place where people actually say "Hello!" when you walk in and "Have a nice day/weekend!" when you leave. It’s the little things Kelley captures, the human things, that make such a big difference.

In my several visits to QCT, Coach Kelley has been accommodating to people of all fitness levels and fosters a supportive, fun environment that challenges everybody in the space. Everyone goes to the gym for different reasons. Some people have never set foot in a gym before why others are trying to get back into their college level athletics shape!
The trainers and environment at QCT accommodates people with all levels of fitness experience. I have been participating in the morning group classes and they have absolutely whipped me into my former college athletic self. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, and I feel like although I'm in a group setting, I get an individualized experience based on my goals. I really appreciate how much ive learned here as well. Its one thing to go get an awesome workout, but to actually learn about different muscle groups the exercises that correspond with them have been great for me when I have to workout outside of QCT.
I cant say enough about my positive experience here. Not only are the trainers/gym/equipment awesome, so is the community! If you want to get a killer workout (regardless of your gym experience) and make some new friends, this is the place to be.

Growing up I was always in shape. It wasn’t until adulthood, that I realized I had focused more on my work rather than my personal growth. I decided to make a tough change and found this gem. I always have my guard up when it comes to working out in new spaces, but from the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed. Kelley and her trainers provide a welcoming space that’s all about bettering YOU. I love the fact that in a city full of “influencer gyms” you can workout in a space that has no mirrors, frills, or judgement… it’s a safe haven. I have completely changed my thoughts on exercising after just a month of training here. If you’re thinking about joining QCT, do it! I always wanted the benefits from personalized training but was intimidated by working with a personal trainer and some horror stories I’ve heard. As someone who didn’t feel comfortable in a gym, the trainers at Queen City Training have really helped me to feel not so intimidated by it all. I’ve also struggled with my own self image and, especially when I felt vulnerable getting ready for my wedding, I didn’t feel judged by anyone there. The environment is super comfortable and welcoming. I really enjoy working out with my main trainer, Erin, but there isn’t a single person at QCT that I wouldn’t recommend. They’re all fantastic people. Even though my wedding is over, I still have a lot to work on and I’m so happy I found QCT to help me along the way!

Absolutely love the QCT staff and workouts! I have always had trouble sticking to a workout but the training these awesome trainers have pulled together are challenging and fun! I have been coming here for 8 months now and almost never miss a workout. I highly recommend their personal training program (you can do with a buddy or two) regardless of your fitness goals--they tailor it to your needs and abilities. They also do nutrition counseling that is informative and highly achievable while still getting results. Everyone here is so positive and I look forward to every workout.

I’ve been going to QCT for about 2 years and Kelley has been awesome at tailoring workouts to accommodate my lower back issues while also strengthening the areas that help improve it. I’m now able to do workouts and activities that I wasn’t able to do for 3 years due to my back locking up.

Personal training at Queen City training is always the highlight of my week! I’ve been training with Shannon for a little over a year and am not someone who typically loves time at the gym. However, every time I go to QCT I have an amazing workout in an environment that pushes me but is also so warm and supportive. Each workout is different and tailored to different parts of the body. The best workout I've ever done. I've been in the construction industry for over 8years now. I remember when I first starting working I would have to deliver 100lb dust down bags to my customers. It was so heavy I had to have help loading and unloading it from my car. Now after working out with QCT I can easily lift the 100lb bag by myself. It's amazing how my body has improved and strengthened to help me in my everyday life. The knowledge and experience QCT has is the best I've seen. The work outs are tough but fun!

QCT is a hidden gem! No mirrors, no frills, straightforward and very accommodating. I have been training here since Dec '22 to get in shape for my upcoming wedding and for overall health and wellbeing. I started at Queen City Training after a cardiovascular arrhythmia diagnosis that knocked me off my game for a little over a year. As a physical therapist and former CrossFit coach I have high standards for fitness professionals and QCT exceeds all of them. I primarily trained with Erin but also with Kelley and Steph, all 3 were excellent. They offer programming to challenge you for growth but are able to meet you where you are. Pat and Kelley are top notch. I began personal training with Pat in August with little to no athletic ability. I had never lifted weights or trained in a setting like this. Pat was able to get me up to speed quickly and greatly improve my strength and balance. I went for a body fat percentage of 26% to 22% from August to January. That is a major improvement! Pat and Kelley are more then just gym owners who I pay for personal fitness, they are amazing friends and good people. I look forward to walking in the gym each appointment. If you want to improve your health and achieve your goals in a comfortable setting this is where you should do it.

Kelley and Patrick have created an atmosphere that is highly motivational, very welcoming, paired with a blue collar and no excuses attitude. Most gyms in Charlotte provide a very intimidating culture, but not Queen City Training. It's very much a "leave your ego at the door" mentality. They both have a high level of training knowledge and expertise, and look after you outside of the gym as well. Highly recommend the Shape & Shred program for circuit training in a team environment. Queen City Training is a great place for beginners who want to be healthier, and for those who are more advanced in their training searching for a new challenge.

Kelley & Pat of Queen City Training are the best accountability partners in Charlotte! Not only are their workouts challenging and fun, but they care about each and every one of their clients' overall health & success! A busy work/travel schedule was hindering the quality and diversity of my workouts, but when you train with Kelley & Pat all you have to do is show up and they handle the rest! I'm in my 4th month training with Kelley and never dreamed that I could have so much fun in a gym. After several years of not exercising much, the idea of starting a fitness program seemed intimidating until a friend dragged me to a QCT buddy training session and I haven't looked back since! The positive culture and uplifting community atmosphere that Pat and Kelley have built within Queen City Training makes this by far the most inspiring gym setting I have ever been a part of.
Shape and Shred is one of the most brilliant and intense HIIT workouts I have ever completed. Honestly, I probably never would have been able to finish it had it not been for Kelley's motivation and support throughout the entire thing.
If you're in the Charlotte area and are looking for a gym to call home you have got to check this place out. It might just change your entire life!

Kelley and Patrick are great trainers and great people! They set you up with realistic goals and help you every step of the way to reach them! In 10 weeks, Kelley helped kick my butt into shape, and most importantly, helped me to realize that working out isn’t about losing weight ultimately, but getting comfortable in and loving your body, and working out because you can, not because you should! Their gym is authentic and not full of the flash and hype that some places have nowadays. I love them!
