Eric is great! He's both very supportive and willing to work with you as you want. I've lost 10 lbs and put on a little muscle since working with him and plan to both lose more weight and get stronger over the next many months. Because I'm 67, it's been really helpful having someone like Eric to help me get the most out of my workouts.

If you’ve had any thoughts about making the move to hiring a personal trainer, just do it and sign on with Eric. My husband and I did and it’s been a very positive step in getting stronger, increasing our energy and stamina and boosting self confidence in everything we do physically in our daily lives. We are both in our late 70s so don’t let age be a limiting factor. Eric keeps us safe and pushes us just the amount we need. I have tried unsuccessfully to exercise on my own but find having a regular set appointment makes all the difference. I now find that I look forward to my sessions with Eric and know that I am building strength and staying safe. He’s a great guy as well a very well informed and knowledgeable trainer.

Eric is very professional and knows his business. He has helped me gain strength and encouragement when the workouts are tough. I discovered him through word of mouth, who told me that they really appreciate his knowledge of the human body. I've worked with a number of personal trainers over the years and Eric is by far the most professional, knowledgable and attentive. Whereas I'd usually buy one or two packages of sessions with past trainers and go back to working out on my own again, I've been training with Eric for a few years now and never get bored with the routine. He's very good at motivating his clients. I highly recommend him.

I can’t say enough good things about Eric!!
Eric is everything you want in a personal trainer. He is patient and understanding and yet he also pushes you to work hard at every single work out. There are days when I doubt my strength and ability but he never does and always encourages me to keep going. When I first met Eric I was a total newbie to the gym and strength training. I could barely hold a plank much less lift any sort of heavy weight. Now my strength in those areas has improved greatly! My squats and deadlifts needed serious help and with Eric’s help and guidance I can now deadlift heavier than ever with proper form. If you’re looking for the best personal trainer in Asheville, look no further because Eric is without a doubt the guy you’re looking for!

I've been working with Eric for one and a half years. In that time I've been able to more than double the weight I lift due to his focus on good form and safety. Eric Simpson is the best trainer I have ever had. He’s experienced, motivating, and inspiring. Eric has created a program for me with work-arounds that take into account any limitations and injuries I came in with, so I’m constantly improving my strength and appearance without worry.

My personal trainer is Eric Simpson. I've been going to him for 18 months or so and find him to be knowledgeable and concerned with my goals. He provides instruction in the best technique to avoid injury and maximize gain. He's not new to this field as he obviously has been working out forever.
