Gym is fire. They have all the equipment you should need and more. Part of the facility has a turf like carpet which is nice for more athletic training. The owners are super cool and it is 24/7 with an online key giving me unlimited workout freedom!

The gym is clean, people are helpful, and the variety of services and classes they offer is amazing. My husband is a personal trainer there (Calvin Bright) and he absolutely loves working with the clients, and staff.
Great choice for anyone looking to get healthy, fit, or just stay mobile.

This gym is located in the heart of downtown Elizabeth City. I was interested in this gym when moving to the area and on the day of the monthly art walk, I was able to get a full tour. I met some staff and the owner, all of which were really nice! The facility was clean and the equipment is the best you will find in town. They newly opened a space across the street just for classes that are offered 6 days of the week which include things like strength training, HIIT, Pilates, Spin, etc.

The level of your membership will determine your ability to attend classes and have 24/7 access. With the higher level memberships, you will be guided through an app and be able to unlock the front doors via app. There is an emergency button located in the middle of the gym for the ladies that may be nervous working out alone at night or in the early morning.
Overall, my experience has been great. They do also offer personal training, body scans, military family discount, and supplements.

The only down falls is the parking situation which may be hard during high traffic hours as what I’ve mostly experienced is parallel parking on the street. Luckily, I am able to go on weekends and in the middle of the day which as shown in the pics, you have the whole gym to yourself!

Rick has been training my son and I for a few months now and he is legit the best! My comfort zone has been group fitness classes for years (still love them, too!), but feel stronger than ever learning how to strategically lift weights/isolate muscle groups and condition safely and effectively with his guidance and motivation. I am learning to focus less on the number on the scale and more about how much stronger my body feels from one session to the next, knowing I am growing muscle and reducing inches/fat. My son is learning how to train properly at a young age to avoid injury in our home gym. Rick is so encouraging and gently pushes us to do things we thought were impossible! I’m working harder with him than I would have ever on my own, but gaining confidence!

Rick designs nutritional and fitness plans tailored to each individual that help you establish lifelong healthy habits while helping you reach your goals.

In the two months I’ve been training with Rick, he has helped me nail down my nutrition and increase my strength and cardio endurance. 15 pounds and several inches of fat have melted away. I have hit personal bests in my squat and deadlift. I eat five meals a day of real food (not shakes or food-like products) that fall within the caloric and macronutrient guidelines Rick determined based on my initial assessments. I don’t feel hungry or deprived at all. We meet weekly for nutrition and training sessions. Rick helps guide me on what improvements need to be made in the next week and celebrates the accomplishments of the prior week. Rick pushes me in every training session. He makes them challenging and fun. I sweat,, smile and laugh a lot in each session! I’m loving the changes I’m seeing and feeling in my body and mind.

Rick has over 17 years experience as a trainer and has clearly stayed up to date on the latest research and information regarding nutrition and fitness. He is knowledgeable, professional, personable and very passionate about helping his clients reach their health and fitness goals. I’d highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to improve their health.
