I love my gym . But I'm giving 3 stars I'm sick of the owners and whoever works not holding people accountable for not putting plates dumbbells and all other equipment back. I shouldn't go to the class room to find 30lb dumbbells that belong in the dumbbell room. I mean why print signs out ? To intimidate? Yeah that don't work Felicia . Let's get it together and kick the people out with no house training .

24-hour access is great. The people who work there are friendly. The workout equipment meets all my needs. The gym rules ensure everyone is respected but not overly controlling. There is a water fountain for filling water bottles. Separate rooms for different activities. Smaller rooms for those who want to work out with fewer people. Planned group activities separate from the main gym for privacy. Group activities for different ages and activity levels.A room for children to play. Most gym goers there are friendly and willing to help.

It has been a waste of my money. I work first shift. If you get there between 5:30 and about 8 PM all the equipment is tied up by people 16 to 27 mostly just leaning on equipment socializing. There is equipment open, if you like recumbent bikes or some other odd machines that are accessory lifts at best. If the would use the equipment, get their lifts in and move on great, but that doesn't happen. If you have time to work out between 9 pm and 6 am it will be great for you. Otherwise just you're just waiting for equipment and get maybe 2 exercises in ever 35 to 45 minutes if you're lucky. I'm sure since I took the 12 month contract option I will just be stuck with a membership that I can't use. The equipment and machines are great. I just will never get to use them.

Decent sized gym. New member here so getting a feel for the place.
Some of the female staff are rather abrasive and rude. I don't appreciate being spoken to like I'm a child.
I'm going to continue to give this a chance since I'm a late night person normally just this week I'm during the day.
Decent equipment.
And plenty of dumbells which is a nice option.

This is a great place for your fitness needs and a family friendly place to exercise. I have a family package here. Very clean professionally run establishment. But I do see alot of younger groups especially when the personnel isn't here, setting on the machines and texting on their phones and folks waiting to use them and not cleaning them after use. I set here for 20 minutes and a group of them hasn't moved or been using the machines.Its disrespectful to the others. Other than that Super place to be.

This is a great gym with plenty of equipment. I got a membership for my son, and he loves. I do not like the fact that there is no staff after daily business hours. It is very easy to just give your code to others where just anyone can come in. It also is becoming a hangout for teens late at night.

Before signing legally binding contract the manager told me they do not follow their own contract but expect the customer to sign anyhow. Nope, that’s not going to happen. They lock you in and make it difficult to cancel after they have obtained your bank account information and continue to charge. I have heard stories about the horrible experience on cancelling but thought I would do the pay upfront method for three months like the contract says and the manager says they don’t do that either. They have other rules on the website that is different from the contract that is to be signed before joining and in the contract cancellation description was also different from what the manager said was the method of cancellation. Be cautious with your money unless you plan to be locked in.

Owner terminated my membership because a non member called and said i owed a furniture company money when i left under my mat when they dropped it off and here is proof i owed 0 dollars when they dropped it off! The delivery driver pocketed the money from furniture store and my membership got terminated , lucky i found reciept in trash showing 0 balance ! When i called to question why they terminated my membership for false accusation that i didnt violate any policy in contract, i was told God said life isnt fair!
Not good business ethics and just because i checked in while working out om facebook the person thought i trained people at the rock , checking in doesnt mean i work there and to think id fabricate story about a furniture company is crazy and its seems they cant get their story straight if i owned, worked or trained people ! I dont think they could match my salary!

I've been a member here for a almost 2 months now. I've come at different times but 5am to 6am is my preferred time. I'm not a gym shopper so I can really only compare this location to itself. I've never felt uncomfortable here. I've not had any equipment issues. The items they say will be stocked no mater when you're there are always stocked as they say. It's a gym. They offer what they say. I like it. I'll keep going as long as I keep waking up.

It’s ok…a lot of broken cardio equipment, no step mill machines, most equipment is outdated. Works for worst case scenario if you just need to get a workout in and your home gym equipment is in for repair. Employees are all super nice. Tanning is pretty good.

After moving to Lincolnton I wanted a gym that was affordable and had a decent amount of equipment and classes to attend. The Rock has all of that and more! They are always adding new equipment and working slowly to replace some old equipment. Trainers are super nice and all the classes I've had thrown chance to added has excellent instructors!

I love this place. They've got more equipment and space than any other gym in town. I usually go at peak times between 6-8 PM and while it does get a bit crowded there's always plenty of open machines and weights to go around. The Staff is exactly what I want out of the staff which is non existent unless I directly need them. The classes seem to be ever popular though I haven't tried them out yet.

Sexist owners. Pass out pamphlets stating women are inferior to men and then blow you off with hostility and aggressiveness when confronted about it. Jerry is an extremely ignorant man who hides (literally held it up next to his face, I guess little ole 126lb me scared him) behind the Bible and refused to answer my questions. Instead became instantly hostile and defensive. I wonder if Jesus would be proud of the way he dealt with me???? Probably not, since Jesus was portrayed in the Bible to be meek, humble and loving. Club Fitness is much cleaner, there are no giant gaudy crosses on the wall or sexist pamphlets up front; it is way cleaner and has more opportunity like classes and trainers. Will never return to the rock; basically you get what you pay for.
