Sandhills Creative Learning in Sandhills Gymnastics is the absolute best. I’m so lucky that we found this preschool and were able to get our babies in. Our first attended all levels (2s through pre-k) and our second just started in the 2s. We already know our 3rd will go here, too. The teachers are amazing - they go above and beyond. It’s amazing to see how much they learn and do. It really set our daughter up for success as she started Kindergarten this year, too. I cannot recommend them enough.

I have a three-year-old daughter attending her first year at Sandhills Learning Center. We have been so incredibly happy with the school and the staff. Her teachers, Anita and Paola make her feel so loved and taken care of. The school provides such an incredible atmosphere for the kids to learn, play and grow. Another incredible feature is the school offers early drop off or extended after care. A lot of preschools only offer a 3 hours, so having option for a little bit longer is very helpful for working parents!

We made the move to Moore County and it all started with Sandhills Gymnastics. Both of our children were doing recreational gymnastics classes and my daughter had an opportunity to join the preschool mid year. It brought the sparkle back to her. We absolutely love this preschool! My toddler looks forward to going to school every day. He gets to enjoy 30 minutes of gymnastics daily, which helps him get his energy out and have fun at the same time. This preschool was a perfect fit for my 4/5 year old son. His teachers are so caring and experienced and always seem to know exactly how to work with him all the way from a smooth transition out of the car to participating and learning in class. I have been blown away by how much he has learned this year. Their pre-reading and early reading curriculum has gotten my son well past where I expected him to be coming out of pre-k. In addition to amazing classroom teachers, they have fantastic gym coaches that give ample opportunity to get lots of energy out while continuing to learn. Our experience with Sandhills gymnastics began when we enrolled our son in K-4, 3 years ago. It was his first experience in school and was absolutely wonderful. He learned so much made many friends and sprouted a love for gymnastics. The preschool is such a kind AND structured environment! ❤️❤️❤️ Fast forward 3 years and he’s there twice a week (boys pre- team) and loves it.
Of course he loves the gym but it’s because of the staff and the leadership who make it somewhere he wants to be. Even with unavoidable staff PCs turnover in this area, there is a consistency in all the staff you rarely find. Bc of this our kids know the rules and what to expect no matter who they are with in that moment. They are meticulous about safety on and around equipment as well as sanitizing everything, constantly. We signed up for the very 1st classes post COVID and they had THE best protocol and plan I’ve seen to
this day. They were on it from day 1. Every detail had been thought of and implemented. It was beyond impressive. That alone inspires tremendous confidence. And really seems to carry over into all aspects of the business.
I keep to myself so I hardly know any of the staff by name. Yet, I am always acknowledged and greeted, even in passing. It’s nice as a parent feeling welcome in the facility (not on the floor of course). I enjoy catching the interaction between teachers/coaches and students as they move about the building. They have such calm control over each group and handle normal situations among students with the same structured patience as out on the floor. I can’t think of a single thing I would want to change. That speaks for itself. Maybe I should have started with that ;)

I couldn’t love this place any more for their early childhood education program, Creative Scholars. The teachers and staff are so sweet and caring. My daughter flourished here and in less than a year (we started mid year) she learned to recognize every letter in the alphabet in upper and lowercase, write all of her letters, recognize large numbers and is in track to read very soon at three years old. They provide the children with materials if you’re going to miss school and, at the end of the year during the end of year picnic, gave each child a personalized workbooks to continue learning throughout the summer. Each day the kids get physical activity during gym and play time for socialization and for our family, it was the perfect combination of learning and fun.

I’ve had both of my boys in gymnastics and they are currently attending their preschool. My interactions with the 2 and 3 year old teachers have been quite pleasant and they communicate well. The sanitation procedures seem thorough and offer comfort in these unprecedented times. Though there are not outside activities, the preschool is offered for only a few hours a day (unlike a daycare program). My boys come home excited to tell me about all the fun they had learning and are always excited to return. I was very disappointed in my son's experience at Sandhill's preschool. The classrooms are super small with a lot of kids packed in, so the teachers fill their time with worksheets and then get upset when a child gets bored with it. The kids never go outside and and only have 30mins to run around in their gym which by the way smells pretty awful. One of the teachers also tried to push her supplement products on all the parents to make an extra dollar which is very unprofessional and shouldn't be permitted. I have herd good things about the gymnastics program but the preschool is a joke.

Sandhills Gymnastics was a second home for me while living in NC while my husband was stationed at Fort Bragg. The staff is SO nice, experienced, knowledgeable, and they really care.

My son started with the Parent and Me program at 18 months old and continued for almost 18 months until he started the Preschool program. Starting gymnastics at an early age greatly increased his physicality, confidence, and body awareness.

I was so sad to have to move states and leave the Preschool program because he was having the time of his life. He started in the two year old class for 5 days a week with Miss Courtney and Miss Emma. They are very patient, kind, and understanding of two year olds. They did so many excellent arts and crafts projects and other learning activities but my favorite part about the program is that they do a gymnastics class every day so they have a great balance of learn and play.

I also had quite a bit of firsthand experience with the gym and coaches myself. I was a former competitive gymnast in my youth and in 2015 started private tumbling classes with Coach James. I had not tumbled in 12 years but was able to relearn things quickly with Coach James' instruction.

I had my son in 2016 and after recovering I decided to jump back into the gym again in 2018 but this time do competitive gymnastics after being out of the sport for 22 years.

Coach Joel and Coach Kelly were very welcoming, understanding, and encouraging for me to accomplish this feat. It was an interesting experience being 34 years old and practicing 4 days a week with 8-13 year olds (and competing against them too) but it is something I will NEVER forget. I was very devastated to leave.

I don't think owners, Coaches Jenny/James, and girls head Coach Joel and Coach Kelly will ever realized how much it meant to me that I was able to do competitive gymnastics once again on a truly competitive level as an adult with the younger girls. It's practically unheard of but they took a chance on me and I will be forever grateful for that time in the gym and getting a piece of my life back!! I accomplished a dream I didn't even know I had.

I would strongly recommend anyone to take their classes and do their preschool program!! They have something for everyone.

Very disappointed with the management at this facility. We were on the waitlist and received notice that a spot was available for our son. We scheduled a tour to be done with the head of the facility. Within 24 hours. When we arrived for our tour they informed us that she would not be in that day. We took the tour with one of the teachers and told her we would take the spot and she sent us home with a registration packet to be filled out and brought back on his first day. When we showed up for his first day of school. They said that we had not registered online so you snooze you lose and put us back on the bottom of the waitlist. Very unprofessional.

I have absolutely loved training at this facility! I am an adult learner that has been driven to learn how to do a handstand and back tuck. Thirty is not always the easiest time to learn a new skill, but with the ability of the coaches to meet me on my level and to be flexible and patient with my schedule, I was able to accomplish one of these goals!! I look forward to continuing to work with such an amazing coaching team.

My daughter look forward to her sessions every week. Great place great excellent coaches. Coach Kayla is the best! She work with her students closely, and demonstartes the the particular skills they are working on. For me that’s a +.

Sandhills NOT fun gym! If your kid is much older than 7-8 the rules are so oppressive that they will be bored out of their mind in a short time. I'm all for a safe environment but things are taken too far.
