Love this gym the times I’ve been able to use it when in town visiting family. Sadly I have shown up during their posted office hours a few times for the office to be closed. Please update your hours or change your signs or post about closures. Genuinely my only complaint. Other than that, great facility and staff.

This fitness center is clean and well stocked with a variety of equipment. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They have an infrared sauna which can be scheduled for a number of health benefits. There is also a beautiful view in front of the cardio equipment., picture attached

The music needs to be for all generations (70, 80, 90, and 2000 not just acid rock, head banger, and punk for the young kids

Other than bad music, the gym is a good place to work out.

Run a report on age groups that are members and play music accordingly. I would guess 70% of guests are over 50.

The music is getting worse, and I already talked to the owner and the son. They don't care about the customer that pays their salary and bills.

I really like this gym. Prior to joining SonRise, my exercise was exclusively walking on my road. Very good for cardio and oxygenation, but nothing else. I need to get exercise for my whole body. The fitness instructor is very helpful and has given me routines to get a full exercise program

Great facility - member access 24/7 but see office hours if you need to sign up! And what a view of the mountains from the large windows! Even has a place to relax out front. We love using our Silver Sneakers benefit to keep healthy and strong!

Our family had a membership to this gym for years. In reality due to many circumstances we actually didn’t use it much at all. Between busy schedules and taking care of a medically fragile special needs child we utilized it when we could. The times we did I will say the facilities were clean & well kept. It does trouble me when a business is not very fair /honest in its practices. For years we spent $64.95 a month. During COVID when gyms were shut down membership fees were taken as normal and no recourse was offered. Recently we decided to cancel our membership as our youngest now a teen works out at home and when working out at the gym wants to work out at a local gym his peers favorite. When my husband contacted the owner he said no problem and the payment would be stopped by the next billing cycle. My husband turned our key fobs in within a few days then the next cycle came and we were charged another $64.95. When my husband called he was told something about fine print in the contract. We are left paying another month we aren’t using the gym and couldn’t if we wanted because we turned our fobs in. In addition we were assured we would not be billed. On the premise of dishonest business practice and just taking advantage of people I suggest you look around. Their are many gyms in the area that offer more for the same amount and maybe you will be investing your money to a gym owned by trustworthy people who hold to their word.

My husband signed a form ending our membership and returned the key fobs. He was not notified verbally you would not be able to stop the payment and does not recall seeing it in the paper. In addition we were never offered a resolution / reimbursement for COVID in any way shape or form. We were never contacted and did not see anything posted the times we did come to the gym. Therefore aren’t we entitled to reimbursement like any other customer to reflect fair business practice. In addition this is an honest & truthful google review from personal experience it’s not slandering your business.

I have belonged to this gym for over a year and I love it. It is a mid- sized gym, well designed, and very well equipped. It is clean and all equipment is properly maintained. You can enjoy the best view in the area from the treadmills/bikes/ellipticals/etc. There are well attended classes offered in yoga and zumba scheduled throughout the week. The owner and his son are friendly and helpful, always willing to take the time to show me how to use a piece of equipment or give me advice. There are TVs scattered about on mute with close captioning on that you can change the stations on. There is soft music playing at all times but it is not always Christian contemporary. There is a Christian theme to the facility (e.g., inspiring Bible quotes on the wall, a Bible on the side table by the front door) but if you are not a Christian, you are welcome and no one will preach at you. Other gym members range in age from their mid-twenties to some very impressive mid-eighty year olds. There are many regulars and they are all pleasant and, in my experience, willing to give a little advice or spot me if I need it. I feel very fortunate to have this 24 hour gym so close to where I live. I appreciate SonRise even more when I travel and I am forced to use the large, noisy, over-crowded, often smelly facilities available to me!

A great family-owned gym. This is a newer location and everything is in great shape and kept clean. The owners and staff are great and helpful whenever needed. I love the Christ-centered environment, along with the various exercise class options for group activities.
