We've been attending The Little Gym for two months now, and honestly, it's been the best decision for our active little guy. If you have a toddler who loves to move, this is the place to be.
The coaches here are incredible—there are so many of them, and they are all so highly qualified. They focus on holistic development, meaning they work on everything from balance and discipline to fine motor skills and listening/auditory skills. I've noticed a significant positive difference in my son; I truly believe it contributes to his psychological well-being as well. He's happier, more confident, and better regulated.
The scheduling flexibility is a huge plus. We started out with weekday classes, and now with him in preschool, we easily switched to a weekend slot. They have a great variety of times to choose from.
I also have to shout out the cleanliness. The staff is absolutely meticulous about keeping the facility spotless, which as a parent, is a huge relief.
But perhaps the most important thing of all is this: they genuinely love your child here. You can feel the warmth and dedication from every coach. It's more than just a class; it's a supportive, fun community.

My niece started here a few months ago and was scared to interact with others but being in coach K’s class has helped her grow her confidence. She will try skills with her and she moves around the class without having me or her mom right beside her now. Our daughter literally tackle hugs Coach Ali and Coach Miranda every time she comes to the Little Gym. She’s now 8 and has been a little gym member since she was 9 months old. Ali and Miranda have poured into all their training, love, and fun and have built our tiny gymnast into a strong, confident, back handspringing Jet. I love that she’s happy but also challenged without some of the heavy pressure of other kids competitive programs. It’s a great balance for our kid and our family, and we’re so grateful for Ali, Miranda and the TLG team!

My daughter and son have both taken classes at little gym. Coach Allie and Miranda both know exactly how to coach each kid and their different personalities. Coach Miranda has a great way of redirecting my son to keep him on task while also challenging my daughter to do new skills. We love the the little gym! Coach K and Coach Allie are absolutely wonderful. You can tell they genuinely care and enjoy what they do. Our son not only loves going there every week, but it’s helped his balance and overall development so much. They also don’t overdo it in the classes either, it’s a good balance between activities and free time. We love little gym! The only reason I give it four stars and not 5 is because I wish there was a little bit of a cheaper option in between the once a week and twice a week but thats just because I wish we could go more!

Signing our girls up for TLG is one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. It’s been amazing to watch them flourish through their coaches’ patience and guidance. We love the little gym of Charlotte! My son has been going since he was about 6 months old he is now 19 months. He has made so many friends and absolutely loves all the coaches. He's loves getting there early so he can say hi to everyone before class. When my daughter was about 19 months old- we brought her in for class and immediately fell in love with the friendly staff, the dedicated program to child development and the flexibility of TLG. Terrible place, we are a Hispanic family, my daughter's first day of school was Valentine's Day, the teacher gave cards to all her students except mine (I assumed she didn't know my daughter was coming in) from the first day I saw that the attention was But the girls who had more time and I told her to please intervene with mine, the second day the teacher also attended to the group except mine where my daughter fell backwards and hit her head, the teacher didn't even pick her up. I didn't even wonder if everything was okay, it won't go anymore

** Update: My daughter just had her 4th birthday party at The Little Gym. This was an amazing experience! The coaches helped set everything up and facilitate the whole thing! This was a relief and took so much stress off me. The party was a hit and I just found out one of the kids will be having her party at The Little Gym because she had so much fun!

I am so impressed with The Little Gym! Jasmin is learning so much and building her confidence to try new things. At first, she was so nervous on the balance beam. I watched as her coach offered reassurance and had her take a deep breath to jump instead of just helping her down. Jasmin was so proud! The coaches are always so attentive, and it is one of the cleanest gyms I have seen. The thing that we look forward to every week is gymnastics class at The Little Gym!

We love The Little Gym. We started coming to the gym in May, and my 1 year old daughter loves it. At first, she was nervous walking on the beam, and grabbing the bar. After a few short months she began swinging from the bats on her own. My daughter looks forward to coming to class each. Everyday she says “nastics” and points to the door. Being a toddler, it’s very hit or miss if she will actually participate in the skill of the week, but she loves coming to class to socialize with the other kids and Coach Layla.

Update: now 3 1/2, Daphne still loves Little Gym and her baby sister goes too. As Daphne has gotten older, Little Gym has helped build up her skills in strength as well as listening. It has also made her work a lot with her emotions and focus.

Daphne started going right as she was learning to walk and it really seemed to encourage her to keep it up (photos from then). Now she's almost 2 and is attempting forward rolls on her own and can hang and swing from the bars. In addition to having physical fun, they focus on a lesson each class, like colors, counting or types of movements, etc. It's been a wonderful experience 😀

We’ve been members here on and off for a year or so - the experience has been poor. The teachers show up like they just rolled out of bed and are not engaged with the children, it’s obvious it’s a job vs something they are passionate about. I called to cancel my account and they refused to let me cancel even though I haven’t been charged for next month (not charged for another 4 days). They said cancellations must happen on the 15th, today is the 16th and I called before noon. Just ridiculous. We haven’t gone for a few weeks bc I can’t convince my two year old to go - she says she doesn’t want to go. Not surprised based on the teachers and staff. So, now I’m stuck paying another month for classes we won’t attend. Poor customer service, poor experience. Don’t bother signing up. We signed her up at a real gymnastics facility that does toddler classes and she loves it.

We went for an after hours birthday party and unfortunately it was so hot in there. It was uncomfortable for the parents that were not inside the main room with the children. We did determine that after hours the air is set to a different temperature but it was unmanageable at times. They should not have birthday parties scheduled if they cannot accommodate for the air. We LOVE The Little Gym. My 20-month old has been in the "Little Beasts" class for 3 months and has learned to hang from a bar, jump, and be less afraid of falls. I like that he is exposed to group activities as well as individual. The lesson plans have a focus for each class but they are realistic and allow built in "explore" time for the short attention spans :D

Miss Maddie and Miss Emily are always so engaging and encouraging. I am so glad I found a place that accepts children as they come and are patient as they grow. The Little Gym has been a Godsend in protecting the joy of childhood amidst the pandemic. We are excited for the many years to come!

We had my son's 4th birthday party at The Little Gym and it was amazing! We rented the space on a Sunday for 90 mins and two instructors ran the show. I got to weigh in on how many activities vs. open play time the kids had, then they ordered pizza and I brought cake. The parents of my sons friends were so impressed that every detail was taken care of allowing us to sit back and enjoy watching the kids have a blast. I highly, highly recommend joining (my son also takes a weekly tumbling class here and loves it).

The owner had a second location that she chose to close. This site is too far but I was willing to go here. Found out after I was told I could transfer my makeups that I cant use them anyway. And misinformed about how they could be used.

Been bringing my daughter here since she was 4 months old. She learned to walk at 10 and half months I truly believe it's because of the little gym. Every one is very friendly and helpful. Had my daughter first birthday here and it was awesome.
