My toddlers had such a great time at BeeCess this past Thursday! The gym was set up so fun with multiple trampolines, foam pits and places for kids to jump and explore. The two girls working were so kind and attentive, walking around chatting with parents and playing with the kids.

I honestly was nervous to come to BeeCess because I saw a couple reviews talking about the staff not being kind but that is the total opposite of my experience. Everyone from the lady at the front desk to the employees working in the gym were so friendly, nice to my kids and to me. Definitely would recommend anyone with kids to visit here!

Disappointing Experience at Ultimate Kids Gym

I have been to many gyms in the past, but my experience at Ultimate Kids Gym has been frustrating, especially due to the behavior of the front desk staff. Each time I interact with them, I’m met with an unwillingness to help and a lack of professionalism. They make me feel uncomfortable, and the atmosphere is far from welcoming.

As an international visitor, I sometimes feel that my concerns are not taken seriously, which has made the experience even more unpleasant. It’s disheartening when you’re simply seeking a friendly and supportive environment for your children, but instead are met with such negativity.

Looking at the reviews, it’s clear that other parents share similar concerns about the gym. Many mention the lack of helpfulness and the unwelcoming vibe, which makes me feel even more justified in my experience.

I’m happy that the school year is finally over and that we’ll be finding a new place for fun, one that offers a more positive and inclusive atmosphere. I hope the gym takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service for the future.

My son and I just got back from “Mean Girls: The immersive Experience”

Oh wait { takes second look at business name} I meant Ultimate Kids

Wish I would have read all the one star reviews before giving this place a shot. We were a few minutes late…God forbid…and when we arrived were not greeted or instructed anything by the front office staff ( red flag number 1) so just proceeded into the gym behind another mom whom seemed to know what she was doing since we had already prepaid online. Being that no one approached us I just let my son explore like the other kids were doing.

After a good ten minutes of free play my son picks up a cone that was on a trampoline and a staff member lets call her Gretchen tells him it needs to stay where he got it ( absolutely in total support of that she just beat me to it for instructing him). My son then proceeds to jump on that trampoline with the cone on it. Once again no clear instructions were given of what he can and cannot do just that we can’t touch and move the cone.

All of the sudden we are being instructed well.. yelled at across the gym and immediately I am transported back to middle school being yelled at in front of my peers for wearing too short of a skirt from limited too. Dammit mom why didn’t you TELL me the rules beforehand.

By then I’m counting down the minutes till this class is over and we can leave. The amount of uncomfortable I felt at this point was very much like how one feels at a middle school dance and everyone is slow dancing to My Boo by Usher and your on the sidelines watching and acting like you don’t care Gabe from 6th period asked your best friend to slow dance and not you…* coughs* but I digress…

My son proceeds to pick up a ball like the other twenty balls laying around the Gym which kids were playing with. Staff person number 3 approaches let’s call her Regina since she as well did not introduce herself.

“ He can’t use that ball”
at this point I’m just a tad bit annoyed

( sarcasm folks I was pissed)
“ ok well no one has given us clear instructions on anything of what my son can and cannot do”

Regina: …well we go over instructions at the start of class and you trickled in.

Me Internally boiling at that logic. Coaxes my child To leave.

If you have made it this far on my review/ or are skipping the sarcasm and pop culture references to just read my honest opinion. Don’t do it unless you have a gluttony for reliving your awkward middle school years. Then by all means… enjoy.. you won’t go home without feeling unwelcome, awkward, and insecure…just like old times

If you want to feel welcomed by a kind staff and assure your child will feel encouraged and supported go to the Little Gym. It’s little in size but much much more big in character and overall satisfaction.

The staff is amazing and has helped my baby girl have fun at her weekly practices, but it enrages me seeing how sick the staff is on the regular and how management allows them to come in! This is dangerous for young children and it makes me uncomfortable sending my child to her class when her own coach is constantly coughing and blowing her nose. This isn’t the staff’s issue at all, but rather the management. Please improve your sanitation guidelines or allow your sick staff to go home so our children don’t get sick either!

Tumblebees Preschool was phenomenal. The teachers are kind, motivated, creative, and so incredibly caring. We had one kid in the 2 year old class and one in the Pre-K. They learned so much- not just academics, but also confidence. Our Pre-k daughter had the biggest smiles when she mastered something new in the ninja gym. Our 2 year old loved coming home with stories of crafts and dancing. I will forever be grateful for the attention they both received. When we had concerns about our daughter’s progress, her teacher was our teammate in ensuring that our daughter received the supports she needs. If we hadn’t moved to a new city, we would absolutely still be a Tumblebees family. Thank you to the incredible teachers and staff. We miss you!

The gym itself is great.

The problem is when you walk in- the ladies upfront act like you are bothering them even for small questions. I’m not sure how this isn’t noticed by management. This isn’t a big deal at first, but walking into that every day was pretty bad.

We have loved Tumblebees for all the things! We've done diving both there and at the GAC, we've done Parkour and then both of my kids are doing rock climbing - which I had to partake in the fun. The instructors and so patient, fun and just wonderful with the kids. Great indoor activities to get the energy out!

My daughter has enjoyed gymnastics here. She has a class with Sarah and with Abby. They are both great teachers. The format of the classes is great. Facility is clean and safe. The website is very convenient to see the schedules and register for classes

I was very disappointed with the instructor's lack of attention to a student who has very new at this and the lack of safety in the facility due to the old and worn-out equipment.

We have been attending Ultimate Dance with Ms. Desiree for 3 years. She is such an amazing instructor and we have lived our time at Ultimate Kids. We have taken Dancenastics and loved the skills my child has built. We have also taken Jazz/Tap/Ballet classes. My child has grown confidence and her dance ability over the past few years. The recitals are an amazing time to celebrate all the skills they have built and definitely a highlight of the year. The emphasis on having fun and low pressure from Ms. Desiree makes her such a gem as an instructor. We couldn’t be happier and plan to continue for the foreseeable future. The pivot to online and hybrid classes has also been a game changer for my child to continue her time in dance instruction and allowed her to keep points of social connection, which has been vital for her social/emotional well being. Thank you for all the great thing Ultimate Dance has done for our family!

I can’t decide where to begin with our experience at Ultimate Kids. From my daughters first day of tiny bees to her most recent gymnastics and dance classes (this week) staff has not only made her feel welcome but important! The confidence and comfort that I’ve watched grow in her over the last two years have been absolutely inspiring. Every teacher we’ve had has been patient, kind, supportive, and understanding. Every class is full of positivity about what is being done correctly and polite encouragement on what needs improvement. My daughter looks forward to all classes and events we’ve participated in. I can honestly say that ultimate kids has consistently exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Weekly classes, parents night out, and summer camps I know my daughter is with adults that care about her safety and are preparing her to be the best dancer/gymnast she can be. We have continued to enroll in classes with Ms. Desiree and my daughter speaks fondly of teachers with classes no longer tailored to her skill level. I strongly recommend Ultimate Kids and look forward to many years watching my daughter grow in her sport, socially, and overall with the help of amazing coaches and staff!

I love the positive progress my daughter has had at Ultimate Kids. Every coach she has interacted with has shown they are there for the right reasons and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs enriching the lives of the kids. Between gymnastics classes and attending TLC preschool, my daughter has made leaps and bounds with how to better communicate what she is wanting or needing and her level of patience, listening, and sharing has greatly improved. Enrolling our daughter at Ultimate Kids has definitely been one of the best decisions we have ever made for her.

Disappointing experience with the pre-school program. Our son was choked and bitten by another child in less than a 2 week time period. We un-enrolled him over concern for his safety and due to the lack of accountability and apathetic attitude of the staff.

Not a pleasant first time experience. The staff seemed very unwilling to even help with the smallest thing. I was given no instructions on what sort of ropes I could climb, being I didn’t have a belay certification with them, either belay ropes or auto belay. There was no staff around where the courses were to even ask them to belay so you could climb more than two courses, and if staff was in the area of the course they didn’t care enough to even want to belay customers as I was never approached by a member of staff asking if they’d like for them to belay me. When I went to ask what ropes were ok to use so that I didn’t put myself at an unnecessary risk, I was met with employees gossiping, and disgusted looks. When I announced I had a question about which ropes I could use I was told “what do you mean? You said you wanted to climb. I don’t know what that means, it could mean anything.” I have been to other gyms and have never experienced anything like this. When you tell staff upfront you’ve never been to their gym they usually walk you through what’s ok and what’s not for safety reasons, especially if you have two different rope systems. And if you don’t understand what I mean by climbing that’s when you ask me to clarify so that I know what I am and am not allowed to do. If you’re thinking of going I would say stay away unless you want to be met with the same unfriendly staff. I will never be going back there again, I’d rather drive to Charlotte where staff is more friendly and willing to help than to go here again. Beyond disappointed.

Update: The owner reached out to us personally and made this correct. Kids did go, they accepted our Groupon Pricing, and even had a special lesson for boys. They enjoyed it and we will return. We purchased a Groupon for the Tumblebees Rockwall. I called Tumblebees to learn of available times and conditions. They neglected to inform me they would be closed the following Sunday ( Mother's Day) and I specifically asked about the weekend hours. We drove one hour to Greensboro only to discover they were closed for the day. We will not be able to return before the Groupon expires and I asked if they would honor the coupon and described the conditions of our trip; they emailed me and refused. Certainly, not what I wanted to hear and we won't be returning.
