Even though we have told him for months that you moved to another town, we were driving near your old location, and he wanted to go in. Unify is an awesome gymnastics training facility. It's important to note that they do have and train men's/boy's gymnastics as well. My son has trained with Unify for almost 3 years (and counting) and he loves it. The coaches focus on developing the whole athlete, not just their technical gymnastics capabilities. Even if you're considering a rec program, I'd highly recommend it, regardless of age. The skills developed in gymnastics apply across any other sport - flexibility, strength, balance, agility, body awareness, etc. Honestly, gymnastics should be a foundational sport for all boys and girls because it will only help them excel at whatever athletic pursuits they follow. The coaches at Unify understand this and are able to get the very best out of their athletes. I can't recommend this organization enough.

We loved our time at Unify/Empower Durham and wished we lived closer to Pittsboro. The coaches are caring and we felt it was very inclusive and a body positive business. My daughter was in the younger classes but I often observed the coaches with the competitive teams and there was good constructive feedback provided in a healthy way. If you live near Pittsboro, you will be very happy with this team.

Our daughter had a WONDERFUL experience here doing gymnastics for 3 years. The coaches are not only good at coaching, but they have been excellent role models for our daughter. They are hard-working, disciplined, and kind people for her to look up to. Our daughter started off without much skills at all and was never made to feel less than or negatively about self image, which was one of our concerns with enrolling her in Gymnastics. Unify empowered her and built her confidence in her own strength, both mental and physical. We are so sad they are moving locations, but look forward to our daughter being able to continue with Unify when she is older and able to make the commute to the new facility more easily.

My daughter has been going to Unify for about 8 months and has had a wonderful experience. All of the coaches have been wonderful. With the beginner gymnasts, they focus on foundational elements and form. The policy around make-up classes is very accommodating and easy to use. We are very happy with this gym!

Unify is a genuine gem of a gym! I rarely leave reviews but feel honored to do so with this one. Our daughter has benefitted greatly from being a part of this team because of the excellent coaching, support, team culture & spirit. The owners (who are also the primary coaches) set the tone for the team and it trickles down to the athletes & parents which shows everyday in and out of the gym. Unify has the feel of a family that is inclusive, welcoming and will support and invest in your child’s growth as an athlete and individual, regardless of your child’s personal goals or skill set. We're new to Unify this year, and we love it. It's a great mix of fun and serious gymnastics that my 8 year old daughter LOVES. Her last gymnastics was all fun and seemed disorganized, so we're thrilled! A great program and they have a strong group of boys too!

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! Unify is a fantastic gym with caring coaches. For team gymnasts, I appreciate that they have a PT who comes to the gym once a week, and that the coaches are attentive to needed recovery time. The gym feels like a family, and transparent communication is a high priority for everyone involved. My daughter is having more fun than she has ever had in gymnastics & also has a strong sense of team spirit rather than just individual accomplishment!

If I could give Unify more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! I have 2 daughters who train here, and let me tell you, it is top notch in virtually every way imaginable. The coaches are phenomenal and truly care about their athletes as whole people. Some of my girls' best friends are their teammates, and they look forward to seeing them at each practice. My girls have grown not only in their abilities to do cool gymnastics skills, but they've also grown in their confidence and compassion for others. The athletes support each other and everyone wants everyone else to succeed. Collaboration over competition, most definitely. We’ve known Coach V for a number of years, so when he opened a gym, we jumped at the chance. My daughter is a team-level gymnast - she practices for hours each week, so she spends a lot of time with her coaches. This makes who these coaches are and how they coach really important to me. Coach V, and the other coaches there, are trying to do something different than the old-school gyms. They are creating a really supportive environment, working in collaboration with their athletes, and nurturing these growing kids while creating and emphasizing safety on all levels. She loves it - she feels safe, she feels seen, and she is setting and meeting personal goals with a bunch of fun teammates who are doing the same. The amount of skill and laughter on the floor is pretty cool to watch.

My younger son is in a rec class at UAG and he loves it, too. He is on the move the whole time, trying new skills, working with his teacher to stretch his wings a bit, and having a blast.

It’s a great facility and great environment for pretty much all levels of gymnast. I highly recommend it.

Unify Gymnastics has been an integral part of all three of our girls' development as athletes and as people. The coaches have demonstrated their commitment to the girls' health, safety, and overall well-being first and foremost. They have also helped them to achieve their gymnastics goals through thoughtful training. Each of our girls is treated as a valuable and capable individual with her own voice. The Unify community of parents and kids is unfailingly supportive of each gymnast. Vahid and his coaches also respect any limitations the family or athlete may have. We have had experience with a few different gyms over the years. Unify is our forever gym. This place is just different and really fits us. This sport can be tough on young athletes- physically and mentally. Unify leadership and coaches put focus on balancing skill development and performance with fun. Attention is given to creating a healthy approach to injuries, nutrition and mental health, as much as moving to the next skill. My athletes appreciate that their coaches are strong at both giving corrections and training- and- celebrating successes. While our gymnasts are tough competitors and do well at competitions, there is not pressure to compete against each other within our teams. Their strength comes in encouraging and pushing each other. The whole vibe here is about being your best- your whole self best- not just your gymnastics best. Coaches are skilled and invested. They are open to communication from gymnasts and families. It is a healthy, positive place to learn or train. Highly recommend!

I have three kids in this program and we absolutely love everything about it!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! The coaches are fabulous and my daughter has loved the friends she has made. Of course learning new gymnastics skills is exciting!
