Hope continues to guide and encourage me through a very deliberate training regime. With two recent hip dislocations, it seemed an impossible task to strengthen the muscles around the injured hip without surely causing a third dislocation. I initially was holding back any meaningful effort, worried about another dislocation, but immediately, Hope was constantly encouraging me while correcting any improper form. When compared to all the personal trainers I’ve work with in the past, her attention to detail and incredible charisma has exceeded all my expectations. She’s made my journey to good health a total joy!

I love this place. Hope is fantastic. She customizes every workout just for me. I don’t even have to think — she does all the brain work while I just show up and do what she says (even when I’m whining in my head and plotting my revenge). She knows when to push me, when to increase weights, when to say "one more" (even though she means five). And somehow, I still keep showing up like a loyal gym gremlin.

But here's what really makes her special — she cares. Not just about my body, but my whole life. She checks in. She listens. She knows that life outside the gym affects everything inside it, and she always has suggestions, tools, or tricks to help me feel better, move better, and just do better.

Plus, she’s walking the walk. She’s not just telling you to get strong — she’s strong. She shows up for herself and for her clients. She’s consistent, passionate, and just the right amount of savage when you need that final push.

As an Army veteran who’s prone to injury, this was a great option for me! The trainers are super in tune with your personal physical needs and are always checking in to make sure you aren’t experiencing any pain while making sure you’re still pushing yourself to encourage improvement and progress. They know that trendy exercises aren’t necessarily good exercises and are good about sharing their knowledge and experience. I personally worked mostly with Sam, Benjamin, and Nick and all three brought their own personalities to the table to make each workout session fresh and enjoyable and would recommend any of them!

This is a great gym if you’re looking to correct posture and do corrective exercises. They are very knowledgeable, especially Hunter and Ben, who I work out with most often. I’ve worked out With Sam as well and all are very good. Worked with Nick and he was an awesome trainer! Went from around 160 to 132.8 once we were done (last weighed myself this morning). I had to move so I'll have to take myself the rest of the way to my goal weight but I wouldn't have been able to make the progress I have made without Nick guiding me! The staff at Fitness Together is very professional and well educated. I am still in the process of recovering from a stroke that left me weak in my left leg. Having worked out my whole life, I needed expert help to ensure I was not doing the "right thing wrong" and watch my technique as well as specific exercises to build strength so as not to become a fall risk. Ron is my trainer and he is very personable and has helped greatly with my personal goals plus I enjoy his company. Bryan, who is the owner, also has been very good to me and my objectives. Just to add to my original post, I have now been with Fitness Together for 2 years and really appreciate how much I have improved in my strength and balance. Joey has been my trainer since January of 2020 and is excellent. Truly enjoy our time together and looking forward to even more improvement in the future!

I started at Fitness Together in January of 2019 just to see if it was worth the money. It is now 5 1/2 years later and I am still a twice a week participant for personalized training. All of my trainers have been excellent and I now have Ben who is continuing that tradition. I value my time and money very much and feel Wisdom Movement (formerly Fitness Together) gives me great value for my continued good health, better balance and greater strength. Ben does a great job in keeping me on task as well as using proper technique in a program specifically geared to me and my golf game. I highly recommend this studio.

I have trained here for over 12 years. The gym and the programs are excellent. I usually train with Sammie Kiefer in the afternoons. She does a great job.
When I occasionally work out in the mornings it is with Hunter and he is a top notch trainer. All of the other trainers are so good (Nick, Ben, and Sam). They follow the system that the owner, Bryan Wisdom, has in place. Bryan runs a tight ship and the gym and equipment are impeccably clean and kept up to date.
These folks will get you in shape and keep in shape. If you have an injury this team knows how to work around it and help you heal. I highly recommend the Wisdom Movement Method.

I have been with the Fitness Together for over 4 months now. In that time I got to know the staff very well. For the past few months, I have directly been working with Hunter Kelly and I have to say that I am very happy. Hunter has been able to work with me 4 days a week and I have seen such an improvement in my mobility, form and appearance. Since December, I have gone down 20 lbs. Hunter is able to provide details on the benefits of eating right and exercising. He demonstrates the knowledge of how each muscle is affected and expected output. Having two trainers in the past, he has certainly raised the bar as he is exactly who you would want overseeing your body transformation. Money well spent for me. Fitness Together is a great gym and has a great set of trainers whom I have not worked with. They are all friendly and knowledgeable but for me, Hunter’s guidance makes it all well worth it.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FITNESS TOGETHER, and my only regret at this moment is the fact that I didn’t find them sooner. I’ve been in Mooresville regularly since February, and it’s only when I’m about to leave to return to college for the Fall back in Greensboro I find this lovely and amazing place. I personally love male trainers and the fact that this place only has male trainers makes me so happy. I also love how they rotate you between trainers. That is so unique and special in my opinion and puts the togetherness in Fitness Together. Today, in my training session I witnessed Josh doing a training phone call, I think. I thought “wow! I would never have an excuse that this business don’t have a solution for!” I love it so much, and I wish I could train here, permanently.

I started with Leslie, he is amazing and very funny. I enjoyed my session with him. I was slightly ashamed of my postural analysis and very insecure going over the facts of my body in detail, but he made me feel so completely comfortable and ensured me that my problems of today will be my problems of the past very soon. And again, he made me laugh through it all. I also LOVED the active listening skills he displays. The fact he repeats back what I’m saying in his own words just shows I’m not another sales pitch here. They really care to understand me and my goals! Ahh, absolutely incredible. Thank you so much, Leslie!

I trained with Jacob today by mistake, because I was scheduled with Josh, but they swapped clients for some reason, but who cares. It doesn’t matter who you are scheduled with they are literally all amazing, with their own unique style of getting things done. Josh was also very funny and remembered things I said in my previous session with Leslie, and that just makes me feel like they really do this together and will use any opportunity to subconsciously prime you of this unique fact as you trust them with your goals. He saw that I was burning a little too much, and allowed me to go down in resistance. My body responds well to trainers who push me gradually and trust that in due time I will be able to do more, but now is not that time, right? He’s also young, but knowledgeable of his craft. Josh came out to introduce himself when I was on the treadmill. Again, it’s all about the togetherness in this place. The customer service is literally amazing. It’s the smallest little things that the trainers in this place don’t miss a beat on. You will feel so welcomed and appreciated for being there.

Bryan is the owner, and though, I haven’t trained with him. He was the one that took care of the initial point of contact and wow, that was also so amazing. He walked me through my expectations as a client, and how his expectations of me completely aligns with the expectations that he holds himself and his trainers too. Meaning, they have a cancellation policy, because you can trust that they value your time, and want the same respect from you. Your goals matter to them and they want your goals to matter to you, as well! We ended that phone call with me so excited to train and meet everyone. Then I got a welcome email from Leslie shortly after that phone call, because that was who I was scheduled to train with initially as I mentioned above. Again, this customer service is simply unmatched ACROSS THE BOARD! They are a TEAM and you can trust they got you, together!!!

I hate that they don’t offer training outside of packages, because I can’t commit to them given the fact I live in Greensboro and will be visiting my boyfriend on weekends and school breaks, because if they did I will be there every time I’m in Mooresville. But hey, they are worthy of the commitment and I’m not upset at all about it. Good for them, seriously.

The owner here turned me completely sour. His name is Bryan.

Long story short, I visited this facility years ago and it was too expensive at the time. However, I couldn’t remember how expensive. I called and got Bryan and told him that I liked them, I am undergoing weight loss surgery soon and really needed help getting a routine together so that I could be successful after surgery because that’s important to me.

I specifically told Bryan what I was looking for as far as weight loss goals and the number of times I wanted to see a trainer a week. He gave me a range of $500-$700 and says to come in for an assessment and they could put together a plan for me. Told me not to worry about the cost because if I had a goal that could help me with that goal. Bryan and I spoke at length for about 30 mins.

Fast forward to my assessment, which was a great visit with Ron and Alex. They recommended me for at least 3 days a week but said I really needed 4 which is what I wanted ANYWAYS and had already discussed with Bryan. But nothing I needed and wanted fell within the price I was given. So I told them I couldn’t sign on and I left.

Bryan calls me and accuses me of having a bad experience. I correct him and say the experience was great, the guys were great but the cost was way more than I was willing to spend. He THEN says and I quote “we can’t make you take the first step. Until you’re serious and actually ready to change, there is nothing we can do for you anyways” what a jerk.

So because you used a sales tactic and scheme to get me in the door, now I don’t want to take a first step? Screw your and that comment. I already had set up to meet with other personal trainers and still work out on my own. I’m 400 pounds, if I was weak minded, that could’ve completely derailed me but I’m writing because it’s unacceptable to put someone down like that if you’re in the business of “helping people”. Allegedly.

So I had to leave a review because this was way out of line. I think Fitness Together is an awesome program from what I can tell and if the package price was right, I would definitely do it without a doubt but that attitude and those comments turned me off. And I let Bryan know it did and I’m also now letting others know. Completely unacceptable.

This is the only workout and gym experience that I think I'll be able to stick with for a long period of time. While it may seem pricey, you can't beat the personal training 1-on-1 experience. This location is open through 9:15 pm which is great for my schedule, which always changes. The trainers are all very welcoming and patient. They maintain great communication and check to make sure you're okay. They are always open to questions, and they are just great people. Special shout out to Ron and Elena!!!

This is my 4th week of virtual training but my 3rd year with FT Mooresville. It has been great. Going to virtual did require some changes. I could not use the rowing machine, oh darn. I do not have the 20-30 minute commute each way. Otherwise, it has been like being in the studio. By the conversation I have with Leslie and Joey I know they care about how I am doing. Since I am not traveling I have been training 3x week. The workouts are tailored to my needs. The accountability of having an appointment has keep my engaged.I have worked with 4 or 5 of the trainers over the last several years. All have been knowledgeable and interested in my well being. I highly recommend FT Mooresville.
