I stopped using this gym 2 years ago and I just was notified of a collection on my credit report from this place. I don’t know how I supposedly owe them $297 but I’m not very happy about this

This is a GREAT gym for several reasons:
1. Plenty of equipment to give different options.
2. The gym is clean and well kept
3. The staff is super friendly and helps you work towards your goals

Until last year, I always thought that a gym wasn’t the place for me an overweight senior citizen who had never gone to a gym. Here I loving my workouts!

Everyone is nice and helpful especially the staff, most the people that work out there are just like me, keep thier head down and just do what you gotta do, it’s really refreshing that I don’t usually ever have to wait on a machine too, almost everyone really seems respect the unspoken rule of thumb that if it’s the only one of its kind at the gym (machine or tool) to not spend a long time on it because someone might be waiting. Also a great water pressure:)

Thus far I’ve had a great experience with this gym. I’m more glass half full than empty kind of person but I also tell things like they are. This gym is smaller than your traditional Planet Fitness allowing for more 1:1 support. I have a premium package so I have monthly success sessions and check ins with the StyTu machine which is appreciated as it gives precise feedback on body fat % and as part of the session we discuss nutritional goals a develop a plan for the goal I have set for my body. Informative and educational about the equipment as they take the time to walk you through machines and offer support while you learn to use them. They go a step beyond by also offering individualized support for which machines to use for your own goals. Enjoying my experience and thankful for the support!

I was traveling through NC a couple months back for work, did a trial at the Asheboro location, great friendly staff and tons of equipment (a little older but good), met their personal trainer Josh who showed me a couple of corrections and made a HUGE difference so thank you for him! He was also helping a new trainer who seems like he was a great fit as well! Front desk staff was very helpful in telling me how to do a 5 day trial!

Also did a day pass in Greensboro since my job had me over there more and found out they had one there and man, the Manager Anthony was a wonderful young man and seem to focus on members needs! On the other hand, met the owner Kevin? I think…was not to found of him and seems to not care how much work needs to be put in the club. Chatted an min and picked up on the fact he only sees dollar signs and doesn’t seem to care about making improvements. I know all too many business men like him, just a feeling i got, but other than him Greensboro wasn’t bad either

This place has really done a 180 in the past 6months. The new people on the staff are great, the two young men at the front desk Hunter and Josh (who is also their new Personal Trainer) were very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. The New GM with the long hair (can’t remember his name) was also super nice and attentive! Place is super clean, and plenty of equipment. I’m always on the road from state to state and have only bought a few day passes but if I lived in Asheboro this would be my home base of a gym.

I have been going here since January 2023. They have 2 stair masters and 1 has been broke since day 1. There has been a sign on it since my first day and well guess what? 12 months later.....still not fixed same sign on the machine. Also in the beginning I was charged for a premium membership which I did not sign up for and was never refunded any money as promised. I actually just cancelled my membership last week. Keep in mind my fees were drafted on the 17th, I cancelled on the 18th. That should have given me the full month, but NO cancels that day. Highly do not recommend this gym!

Awful place. Cancelled my membership three months ago, but they keep charging me.
Called them three times asking them to cancel my membership, the manager assured he cancelled it but they keep charging me the monthly fee. Called them again and now I have to go back in person to sign the cancellation form, claiming they don't have the one I signed months ago. I told them I'm out of state and it's not possible for me to go, but they say there's nothing they can do to help me.

How does a gym with "no commitments" charge me late fees? I might understand this if they didn't deactivate my card for entry during the non payment time. When I call the charges were eventually removed. Week later I am charged agained. What does one need to do to cancle being charged?

Been going here since 2016. The staff here are really friendly, and it's a really nice looking gym. It can get pretty packed here on weekday afternoons and evenings though, which means either awkwardly waiting for someone to get off or just using a different machine. I've come across some really weird and creepy customers here. Although it's clean, I don't understand why they never wipe the bars and dumbells (if they don't). Anything a business can do that their competitors aren't gives them an edge. They used to give surveys to their customers over emails, but I haven't received one in years (perhaps because I complained about something). Overall not a bad spot.

I did not find out until the day I tried to cancel my membership months into going that this gym supposedly offers different memberships at different price points. I was only offered workout anytime and 24 access for $30/month and made to believe this was the only option. As their spiel is no contract, I did not go home with a contract nor was I emailed one but I gave the guy working my recurring payment information. I asked questions and was assured I could cancel easily at any time. LOL it’s now been a good month, a good 7 or more calls, and four trips up to Workout Anytime Asheboro not to mention multiple emails and I am still waiting on receiving my proof of paying an extra month that was never agreed to as well as cancelling my membership. The head manager is unprofessional and unhelpful. I was given the run around for weeks and unfortunately it still seems I am. Talking to people and reading more reviews I am seeing so many others are going through the same thing. Please spare yourself the stress and lack of respect for your time and energy.

The gym itself is fine, however, like other reviews I went in to cancel my membership (November or December) and I was told I would be charged for the current month since it was the middle of the cycle - not a problem. Come to find out, my membership was NOT cancelled like I requested and I had been getting charged for months. I went back in a second time (May) to cancel and advise that my membership should have been cancelled months ago, somehow they had no notes of that. The manager, I assume, advise they would cancel my membership immediately and refund me 2 months worth and the refund would generate within 2-3 business days - I agreed. It’s been over a week and still no refund. Avoid getting a membership here, it’s not worth the hassle when you go to cancel it.

The gym and everything within it was more than enough being a night owl. But life happens and I had to cancel my membership sadly, why and how two months after I canceled I’m getting charged for it. Went twice called once asked for money back still haven’t got it. I understand there’s a process but two months after, the first month was in the contract I understand that but the second one doesn’t make sense. Good gym. DO NOT BUY ANY PERSONAL TRAINING!!! I enrolled in over $1,000 in personal training sessions. Had to leave for military duty- active duty orders, I was still charged. I kept telling them I was moving close to Fort Bragg, I kept getting charged over sessions I wasn't attending, Benjamin was zero help, I moved and lost all sessions. Do not go into any agreement with them. Even the contract has very little information on what to do if you have to cancel. Also, I know a few others who had issues with this as well. Benjamin by text said he was looking into my new lease (sent by me) he Left on VACATION and did not tell me, I had to call they gym to get an update on my account. Went personally from Fayetteville to Asheboro. Signed all the papers. Got a call that the staff was not allowed to accept it because the manager was not present. I had to drive AGAIN another time, The contract is binding you to zero cancellations basically, and the gym does nothing for its clients. Gym equipment is great, clean. Do not go into a contract with them for personal training. I have proof of all text, emails sent. And charges in my account
