I’ve been with the gym for a while and it is constantly dirty and too many kids everywhere for me. I work long shifts and want to enjoy a workout but it’s a mad house with teenagers. No maintenance and no cleanliness, gym is not the place to be.

I've been a member of this gym since it opened, but unfortunately, it's been going downhill since the owner changed. Since the new owner took over, the gym has always been dirty and the bench pads haven't been replaced. It's disappointing because this place used to be a great place to train and had a great vibe. If the situation remains unchanged, I won't be surprised if they shut down suddenly, as the owner appears to have no intention of maintaining it.

As others have mentioned recently, this gym has severely gone down hill within the last 1-2 years. It appears management of the gym has changed more than once during that time. The likely reason for so many 5 star reviews is either they were provided during previous years, or the gym incentivized its members to leave such reviews.

What used to be a clean and enjoyable environment for working out has delved into an absolute mess. There’s frequently no cleaning wipes provided anywhere in the gym, often no hand soap in the bathrooms for days at a time, multiple parts of the gym are broken (including the front door). Additionally, equipment is worn and the gym looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or tended to in weeks. It’s clear that little investment is being made by the current management.

The overall environment has drastically declined and I would have a hard time recommending this gym to anyone in Its current state.

I had an account with this gym for a few years and It was fine. However it came time for me to cancel my membership and first they required me to come in in person to cancel the membership. They had no possibility to cancel over the phone or online. Which was annoying but I guess their prerogative. However after I went in to the office sat down in person signed a document saying that I was canceling my service they continued to bill me. They emailed my signed document to me on February 10th and now in October they are still billing me every month. I called them to ask for the billing to stop and for them to refund me for the months since I have canceled and I got a conversation with a lovely fellow who told me he wasn't a manager and couldn't process it but that he would have them call me on Monday when they got in. They never called and when I try to call again they don't pick up. So I'm still getting billed.

I’ve been a member for many years, and unfortunately, this gym has gone downhill. It’s disappointing to see 5 star reviews when the facility is clearly neglected — the carpets are dirty, equipment is covered in dust, and cleaning wipes are often unavailable. Even the main doors have been broken for some time. I truly hope ownership starts investing time and care into the space before more members decide to switch to the Planet Fitness down the street.

I have been in this gym six days a week for the past six months and planning to makntain my membership in the long-term. The membership prices are very competitvely-priced. 24-hour access is a big benefit that made me choose this gym. The atmosphere is cordial and I have never witnessed anything out of place. There is a good group of guys and gals of all ages who come regularly and follow good gym etiquette. Kam is here in the day time on weekdays and takes care of the gym very well. He is a great dude who conducts himself professionally and is always approachable. I love this gym.

The gym itself is fine, convenient, and friendly. Mostly quiet.
However, I've tried FOUR TIMES to cancel my membership, and somehow no one there knows how to do it and can't help me. It's been 2 months, which of course, I'm still being charged for. So if you're looking for a gym that'll hold you like a ball and chain, it's probably a good fit. Otherwise, dont waste your time.

What can I say, Cameron saved the day! I was considering leaving the gym, throwing in the towel but through him he assured me that there had been a drastic turn around and a good experience is going to come my way. Through him I met this wonderful girlie who I can now do sessions with and feel a little more confident getting into the swing of things. I highly recommend this gym- tiny but mighty! I have not been to this gym in over a year. I’ve called time and time again and yet was unable to get anyone to pick up the phone. Then the ONE time I get someone he states that it’ll be taken care of and I won’t be charged. That was last month. I just got charged yet again. I try calling again this morning, straight to voicemail. My emails go unanswered. If someone hasn’t been to your facility in over a year and is requesting that their membership be canceled why are you continuing to charge them???

Met tanner the new GM of the location and was very impressed with his professionalism and how good & clean the gym is looking.
I previously used this gym years ago before I moved away and decided to come back because of the convenience of the location.
Had Kam give me a rundown of the new changes and equipment and was very impressed with how good everything is looking after being gone for the last 5 years. Signed up for the premium membership and I’m giving the gym 5 stars all around . I will be bringing my friends and family to workout with me 100%

Has been charging me for personal training sessions for months that I have not had. No response to emails, calling does nothing because apparently no one that works there can talk to me about getting a refund. Not sure how this place operates without management. Also on top of the charges for personal training sessions I have not had I’m also being charged $100 a month for the membership? When I was told it was $45. Absolutely insane. I can not recommend this place that’s charging me $400-$500 a month with ZERO communication or humanity about it.

I''ve been a member of Workout Anytime since the day they open for the most part. I've seen many mangers come and go from this place and it disappointing. Abby O'Neal is the employee who signed me up. This gym is suppose to be a Christian Gym. Not anymore. Although there is scripture on the walls, the secular music is the only thing they play. When it's 30 degrees outside it's 20 degrees in side the gym and especially in the locker rooms. Literally! (Not understanding that). What's good about it..... location and convenience. Unfortunately, I need much more. Some businesses you just need to leave it as it is. "If it's not broke, don't fix it". It's just not like it was and I'm very disappointed in these changes. Very.

I called to cancel my membership and despite the associate I spoke with confirming it was cancelled (I never received an email), I am still being charged. This was 4 months ago now and after numerous calls, emails, messages sent from the 'contact us' section of their website, and being hung up on MULTIPLE times, the issue has still not been resolved. I moved out of state so visiting the location is not an option. 4 months of being charged and harassed over services that were cancelled, and now I'm being ghosted by the staff. NEVER going to a Workout Anytime again and I highly advise finding a better gym.

It is very enjoyable working out at the Mint Hill 24/7 gym. It is always clean and well maintained. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. Crazy how they charged me twice for a payment I already had paid and I try to cancel they told I have to pay 99$ to cancel same reason I try to cancel for the subscription because it made no sense that I paid the beginning of the month and now they want me to pay again? Really a solid gym. Staff are excellent, different variety of equipment, always clean and good quality also. Great bang for your buck, great place to start as a beginner and grow into advanced lifter. Wouldn’t really recommend for serious powerlifting.

Space is at a premium! Go early or go late, because if you go at rush hour, you'll either have to leave or some of your exercises or extend your alloted time to work out.

All the basics are here, nothing too fancy or exotic. Lucky for me, that's all I need. But your pilates or cardio kickboxing fans are gonna be disappointed.

Have been going to Workout Anytime Fitness for nearly a year several times a week and love it. It has plenty of both free weights and machines in order to fulfill all my exercise and body building needs as well as a friendly staff who can answer all my questions.

It's convenient, plenty of free parking. I've belonged to several other gyms in the area, but this one is exactly the right size for me. If you're looking to escape the "Big Box" gyms, this is your place!!!!

I have been a member of Workout Anytime - Mint Hill on and off for a couple years and have generally found the facilities to be clean and well-maintained, with up-to-date equipment and a friendly workout environment. The gym provides a wide range of equipment, making it an inviting place to exercise.

However, I experienced significant issues with the billing and customer service departments. Despite multiple requests to stop billing my card with small transactions—up to 6 times a day on two separate occasions—my concerns were ignored. This repeated billing was frustrating and financially disruptive. Additionally, when I requested a cancellation contract, the staff lost my email, resulting in a delay in processing my cancellation. These issues created unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

The only positive aspect of my experience was Ethan, the regional manager, who listened to my concerns and addressed them professionally. His responsiveness and respect for my requests were greatly appreciated and contrasted sharply with the unresponsiveness of the other staff members. Despite the excellent facilities, improvements in customer service and billing processes are necessary for a better member experience.
