I’m a huge fan of this yoga studio! I started taking classes with ClassPass and recently switched to an unlimited studio membership. All of the teachers are fabulous and I love the variety of classes on the schedule. In a typical week I take power flow, signature hot, slow flow, and yin/restore. Really convenient location and class times. I love the late evening classes, especially yin with Lauren and slow flow with Emma!

This is a nice studio with a good location. The instructors are passionate and engaging, ensuring everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners enjoy the flow.

The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the lack of locker rooms and some limited class times. *Bonus points for the 45 minute lunch class offering! Brilliant idea, even if I don’t use it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
YOGA6 is absolutely amazing! I can't say enough good things about this studio. The teachers are all incredible—knowledgeable, encouraging, and each one brings their own unique energy to class. The studio itself is spotless and always feels fresh and welcoming.

One of my favorite touches is the cold, scented towels they give you at the end of class—such a refreshing and thoughtful treat! Plus, they provide sweat towels, which is a huge bonus and just shows how much they care about the experience.

I especially LOVE the music-themed classes—it's such a fun way to stay motivated, and the playlists are always on point. Whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this place has something for everyone. YOGA6, you rock! 🧘‍♀️🎶💙

I can’t get enough of this studio. I started out knowing zero about yoga and Y6 made it easy to enjoy a new experience. The diverse class offerings mean I can always find something to get me moving, from stretching in restore to a HIIT style workout in sculpt and flow. I especially love the themed classes and the carefully curated instructor playlists.

I joined YogaSix, having never consistently practiced yoga, and was simply looking to try something new. I never would have expected that I'd be going every day of the week, but very quickly, that's what has happened!

The instructors and staff are incredibly friendly and bring a truly positive energy to class every day. Attending these classes has inspired me to push myself, and I've been so surprised by what I can do on the mat. Coming to YogaSix is also a great way to meet new friends and de-stress after class. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

YogaSix Chapel Hill serves up a toasty 105°F practice that'll have you questioning your life choices in triangle pose, but in the best way possible. While they've skipped the fancy infrared panels in favor of good old-fashioned heated air, the consistent temp keeps you cooking evenly like a well-basted bagel. The space screams "we've got our act together" with its pristine studio vibes and enough props to outfit a small circus. Drop-in warriors can snag a mat for a mere $3, or commit to a month of unlimited mat love for $15, a steal for those of us who regularly forget our yoga companions at home or don't want to really commit just yet.

The instruction hits that sweet spot between "you've got this" and "maybe reconsider that fourth chaturanga," though your mileage may vary depending on which teacher is leading the sweaty parade. Today's class featured a savasana so quiet you could hear your neighbors contemplating their dinner plans, though word on the street is that the meditation finale can be a mixed bag. The modern space may lean heavily on artificial lighting, but hey, you'll be too busy mastering your extended side angle to notice the lack of vitamin D.

For the price point, you're getting a polished hot yoga experience that doesn't take itself too seriously... peep the "I cry a lot but I am so productive" t-shirts in the retail section. Just remember to bring your water bottle and a towel, unless you fancy leaving a human-shaped sweat angel on your mat. Perfect for both the "I do this for the hot yoga glow" crowd and the "I'm here for the serious practice" squad.

I've been to this YogaSix studio twice before and both times, the yoga studio had the worst sewage smell once you enter the front door. It's the strongest in the lobby but also permeates into the yoga class itself. The smell is cloying and with people's body odor/ sweat it makes for a less than pleasant experience. This is unfortunate since the yoga sculpt class is a nice HIIT workout with some stretching at the beginning and end. I won't be coming back due to the odor. It takes away from the zen.

I really like the y6 studios nationally for the cleanliness and consistency. The one bummer about this one is the music at times. Teachers here can ignore the y6 policy of clean positive music and play nasty bad tunes if they say they’re going to so at the beginning of class with a “explicit content” warning. The problem is it took me a half hour to get there, I am ready for a great class and what am I suppose to do at that point - leave?(. I’d rather just avoid it altogether.

I’m a restore class lover and really like all of the classes I’ve tried here. This past Monday As I entered the studio I really felt the restore class vibe and it was great! Most Monday nights as I enter I wonder if I read the schedule wrong then realize it’s just the vibe from the last class. I’ve shown up as late as 7:20 and the music from the other class is still on, the sweaty blocks are still all lined up along the wall waiting to be put away... On those nights there is a loud party vibe upon check-in that I have to get past in order to start to relaxing on my mat. Somehow, they figured it out in this past Monday it was total Zen! Thank you Y6 for the great classes and great atmosphere you provide.

There is a serious sewer gas issue in this building and it’s ongoing. I attended a class and spoke with other people who said that it always smells like that, and I actually went on a good day! Yuck! It was extremely unpleasant and nauseating to be in the hot yoga class with sewer gas fumes. Disgusting.

I visited YogaSix for the first time today and felt immediately welcomed! The space is energizing and serene, the staff are immensely kind, supportive and knowledgeable. I was touched to see a sign that read “Welcome Morgan!” upon entering the building for my 9:30am class. There’s plenty of class times available with different instructors and varying degrees of difficulty. I choose the Slow Flow class and it was the perfect mix of challenge and rest. I absolutely will be returning soon and would recommend YogaSix to everyone!

Enjoyed the classes, but just had an incredibly disappointing customer service experience. I purchased a 16-session pass where the contract had no mention of an expiration date. The studio notified me that it had expired, and when I pointed out the issue, they were unwilling to provide any credit for unused sessions even after repeated follow-ups. Instead, their proposed solution was to sell me a new pass. Further, they were not able to provide any evidence that the expiration was disclosed upfront. Incredibly disappointing and poor customer service experience.

I’ve needed a way to get back into my fitness routine and Y6 has been THE best place to do it. The instructors and front desk staff are so encouraging and welcoming, the playlists are always great, and the temperature is never uncomfortable. I feel challenged but also know that I can take things slow if my body needs a break without judgement. The lavender towels are the perfect touch! Highly recommend Y6 if you’re in the Chapel Hill-Durham area.

HARD TO CANCEL ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR CARD. I signed up for a $63 unilimited class trial in March. I didn’t realize that it was recurring and increases to $126 after the first month. (After that first month, I went to zero classes as I was unaware that I was paying for them.)

April went by, and I didn’t notice that a payment occurred, which was my bad.

I called BEFORE the May payment posted to my account to cancel, but they said they couldn’t reverse it, that they would contact the manager to get back to me the next day. I called the next day after no follow up, and got the same response from another girl. Surprise, a manager never contacted me and the additional $126 left my account.

They don’t have a way for you to cancel within the app. I had to call MULTIPLE TIMES to even get them to cancel the plan, and I never got my money back. I’ve never seen a yoga studio be so unflexible and cold. I would not recommend signing up for a plan to anyone.
