SRCF is an absolute gem. I have been a member with SRCF for around a year and half now, and I truly love the atmosphere of the gym. As someone who has no experience in strength training, all the coaches have been incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They place great emphasis and importance on proper form and technique, which takes a lot of the anxiety away especially from a beginner like me. They also scale any exercise when needed to accommodate your level of strength or any injuries, so no sweat if you cannot lift a certain weight or do an exercise because there's always alternatives. I really appreciate how the classes are not too big so they are able to keep an eye out to make sure we're doing the exercises correctly and provide tips and guidance along the way. Between the coaches and the community, you will always leave feeling better than you did when you first walked in.

Overall, I would strongly recommend checking out this gym. You are pushed by the coaches and community every day to get 1% better. When you feel like giving up, there is always someone there who believes in you and will encourage you to get through the next rep.

I started coming to Sheyenne River Crossfit a couple of months ago!! The reason joined was to challenge myself mentally and physically!! Though I am still fairly new, the team here takes their time to ensure you are performing exercises correctly, as well as helping me stay accountable for my workouts and goals!! I absolutely love this place! I started coming to support a friend and her new business endeavor. From that time, I was hooked. Even though the workouts can be complete and utter torture, we are all in it together and I keep coming back. This gym ROCKS it! The people there are welcoming and encouraging during the workouts. Ryan and Mallory a couple of our favorite coaches were always AWESOME to workout with. They helped with correcting form and making alternative workouts to fit the needs of this aging body. LOL. Awesome box. Dropped in while checking boxes for moving here. This ones worth the trip to NW Fargo area. Looked like all the good equipment, fairly clean and tidy, nice friendly welcoming people (a rare item, believe me), and a great wod. A bit tough to find without the signage, so just get in early.

The coaches do a fantastic job explaining the movements before each workout. They will work with you to ensure you are using proper technique or to adjust movements to your ability or goals. The coaches and members are all friendly and welcoming. If crossfit is new to you, don't be intimidated, nobody judges you on your ability but will encourage your efforts.

Great place with motivated staff. Doesn't matter your fitness level, the staff trainer's can work with you to achieve the most out of your workouts. You still get out of this what you put in, but Sheyenne has everything you need to succeed.

Been going here for about 3 years and Sheyenne has been amazing! Great atmosphere where you will NOT be judged on your fitness level. The staff and coaches want to help you find your own road to success. I have been to other CrossFit associated places and Sheyenne was the right after the first workout. If you have any curiosity, or interest, please check these guys out! You won't regret it

The coaches are very friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to get to know every member and help them when they need to. They do a good job having different difficulties of workouts so no matter who is there it is challenging but not overwhelming.

I tried Sheyenne River CrossFit for a 6 week challenge. I thought there was no way I could do it. I'm over 50 and certainly no athlete. I was a little intimidated going in. But the staff made me feel like I belonged right away. They focused on my goals and I never felt judged that I wasn't as strong or fast as the younger, more athletic people. In the six weeks, I lost a little weight, and lost a bunch of inches around my waist. I felt stronger and more energetic. The people there are so much fun and so helpful. It's a great place!

I've struggled to find a workout plan that I enjoyed doing that varied in content. It wasn't until a rugby coach started CrossFit workouts and convinced me to check the gym out did I find the right fit for me. Joining SRCF was one of the best decisions of my life. While the workouts are hard, the people and coaches are so great and supportive. You work on you but you have a group of people who have similar goals that support you the whole way.

Going to Sheyenne River Crossfit has been one of the best decisions of my life. Yes, the workouts are incredibly hard but the people are also incredibly supportive. My wife and I decided to sign up for the 28 day challenge and just over 5 weeks in, I believe it has been a life-changing decision. I had general goals to lose weight and get stronger, but I've gotten so much more than that out of it.

I was very inactive and out of shape before I started. To say I was sore for this first week is a drastic understatement. It took effort just to get out of bed in the morning. Now I look forward to the daily challenge and self-improvement that comes along with the work-outs.

CrossFit has helped me significantly improve my diet. You can't work as hard when you don't feel good. And you don't feel good when you eat garbage. The nutrition coaching I received during the challenge has been valuable and the accountability that comes with having a personal coach really helped me stick to the diet.

It seems strange to say until you experience it, but there is no way you can push yourself to the same degree as when you work out with a group of determine CrossFitters with positive attitudes. The community at SRCF is great; both friendly and supportive. Everyone wants you to succeed and stick with it. I don't know how many times I was told, "The first week is the hardest. Stick with it. It gets better."

Now I'm in the best shape I've been in for 10 years. I'm 5'11" and started at nearly 200 lbs. I've currently lost 15 lbs and traded fat for muscle. My confidence level is up, my stress level is down and even my quality of sleep has improved.

I'm not saying it's a miracle. It takes hard work and dedication but it's so much easier when you've got a supportive community and great set of coaches to help you along. I want to give a sincere and heartfelt "Thank You" to the Christenson family and the whole SRCF community.

The variety of crossfit is great - it's a different work out every day. The coaches are very welcoming & it's a smaller gym so they know your name & you get to know other members. It looked hard at first, but they work with whatever your fitness level is & if you need modifications for an injury, etc. I have lost weight, gotten stronger, and am feeling much better overall. The 6 week challenge was a great way to jump start the weight loss because it included following a nutrition plan & it worked great for me!

I can't say enough awesome things about this place. The gym is not huge, so you feel like a closer knit group of people/friends. Everyone is so welcoming and the coaches are very patient teaching those of us who are new to the lifting/crossfit "thing." I had the opportunity to drop in to Sheyenne River CrossFit on Saturday July 28, and I had a great time! The trainer who was present, Ian, did a great job welcoming me in to the gym, showing me around and giving a great explanation, demonstration and cueing for the workout of the day. The other members present were very friendly and stuck around to chat and make me feel welcome to the area. What a great environment and good workout. If you are visiting in the West Fargo area, I highly recommend dropping in to SRCF!

I would highly recommend SRCF to anyone looking into trying crossfit, looking for a change in their current workout routine, or even someone who has never able to motivate themselves to workout but want to start. At the time of this review, Sheyenne River CrossFit had all 5-Star ratings - and they deserve it! This place is owned and operated by some fantastic individuals that are passionate about fitness for everyone. I was looking for a place in which I could learn about CrossFit and improve my health at the same time. Meal plans are available, the workout schedules offer morning, daytime and evening classes and a person can go up to 6 times a week! I waited 6 weeks to fully experience what Sheyenne River CrossFit had to offer and it's been fun since day 1. This is a place that welcomes everyone and wants to see you succeed in improving your fitness. Definitely recommend for those that are wanting to workout effectively.

I never imagined I could do this. I completed the 6 week challenge! I would never had been able to do that without the support of all the coaches and all the other kind members there. There was encouragement, pep talks and they were always available for questions and concerns. They made sure you were always doing the workouts the safe and proper way. That was one thing I really liked about SRC. They were never busy behind a desk or leaving you to "figure" it out. I never felt like just another person. There wasn't a single time I felt lost during a workout.

Every workout had a plan and a purpose and you get results!! After week two I started feeling the mental results. My commitment to my body made me appreciate what it could do, and before I really started seeing physical results, I loved my body more!! Every single week the scale moved but it wasn't until around week 3 when myself and others started seeing a real change. It is amazing. You owe yourself a commitment like this. Thankfully every single workout has a modified version to help people like me who sat out the one mile run in school(over ten years ago) because exercise hurts. lol At the beginning of my 6 weeks I could not even do one sit up. SERIOUSLY! Yesterday was my last challenge workout and I did about 32 sit-ups before I had to switch back to crunches. It was an AMAZING FEELING!!

I could go on and on about how satisfied I am with Sheyenne River CrossFit and my experience there but I'll bring it to an end. I will continue my fitness Journey with SRC because results are addicting and they are dedicated to me and my goals. After this 6 weeks I am confident that I can achieve any goals I have with the help of this fabulous team of trainers.

I am a 28 year old mother of 3 under 5 years old. My youngest is 4 months. I am a busy women running my own photography business around the schedule of my kids so I do not have to put them in daycare. I made a million and a half excuses all my life so get out of workouts. I've bought the videos and never made it a week. I was the girl who would have done anything to get out of the one mile in school and eventually just started walking because, what can anyone do about it. I am not that girl anymore. With the help of SRC, I changed my life. You can too!

I signed up at Sheyenne River CrossFit after I saw an ad for a 6 week challenge. I was looking for something different and needed to start working out more routinely. I am so glad I choose this gym!
