I’ve enjoyed this gym for a long time, but lately it is filthy and full of broken equipment. A recent review included a photo of a broken pedal on a bike. Well, they decided to remove the pedal from the bike next to it and who knows how long that will take to get fixed… if it even will. I’d avoid this gym if you’re new to the area and looking.

I came to this location when I was out of state visiting. It was easy to find. The showers were really nice & clean. My only feedback would be that for all of the equipment they had, I think the inside was too small & not a lot of area to move around between machines. I’m partial to my machines at my home gym & prefer those to this location. Overall though, it was a good gym to get a workout in :)

Good luck cancelling your membership. They will tell you they need a written letter and after 3 attempts of them "never receiving the letter" they will tell you they need the letter to be certified for them to accept it. Never once during my multiple phone calls or emails did they mention that it needed to be certified. This has been ongoing for 3 months now so that's $120 that they've weasled away from me.

I want to say that Christopher is nothing but professional and the gym got cleaner when he took over. My contract already ended and he made it a smooth process on ending my membership and helped me during my membership freeze. He really worked with me on trying to get me to stay with the club. However, I just don’t think it’s fair that when I signed to cancel my contract on June 12, 2023 that you would still have to pay the last payment even though I didn’t reach the 14th day of my last billing cycle and the club charges your account bi-weekly. My contract ends on July 12, 2023 and my last payment was on June 27, 2023 and they charged me July 10, 2023 which only reached 13 days. However I’m disappointed in the club as I’ve been a member for a couple of years and they charge a club enhancement fee to which I haven’t seen any improvements regarding for new equipment. Also, I wish they had a month to month contract for members wishing to return but you have to sign a whole new contract with a price increase. If they had this option I would gladly return in the future.

Simply put, the staff are horrible. I delivered a notice of non-renewal as it was outlined within the signed contract - except suddenly there were new requirements to be allowed to non-renew, and I was told it would non-renew at the end of the new signing period.

I was threatened will collections when I informed them I would be filing a complaint and issuing a stop pay order to my bank.

Terrible location, terrible staff.

Update: They falsified my signature and initials on a contract. I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE. They are willing to falsify your signature and initials - luckily they got my initials wrong in addition to a poor copy of my signature.

Pretty okay facility, horrible business.

I cannot stress this enough; DO NOT get a membership here. As you can see in various other reviews, the contracts are completely absurd and they WILL cheat you in some way, shape, or form.

My experience:

I signed up for this gym when I was a college student because it was nearby and seemed relatively cheap. I signed on as a referral with my friend (who had been a member for several years) and was promised two free months, as well as a student discount. However, I was charged far more than I was told and never received a single free month. I didn’t really think much of it, because I knew I would be moving soon so I was planning to cancel anyways.

However, upon trying to cancel, I was informed that I could not end my membership (even after I said I would pay the cancellation fee) while in contract because there was a gym “close to me” (the nearest one is more than 25 miles away in a completely different county and is a 30-40 minute drive — I understand that this was definitely in the contract, but the staff member who sat down with me led me to believe things were far different (he said it would only be $22/month after my discount & free months, told me I could cancel if I moved, etc.)) Granted, I should have fully read the contract, but of course, their staff is GREAT at pulling all the stops to distract and convince. Yet, I then told the staff member that I didn’t even have transportation to this location so there was no possible way I could utilize the membership and that I was recently in a car accident (hence the lack of transportation) and couldn’t even lift or workout anyways (based on doctor orders). She said she would cancel the account based on extraneous issues and I went on about my business.

Fast forward, they sent me to collections! Now, as a young adult, my credit score dropped significantly and I’m now being hunted down for $300 that I simply do not have.

I take full blame for my lack of reading the contract, but I do not take blame for being lied to and deceived by a money-hungry company.

If you are in Westerville, go to the Community Rec. Much cheaper, no contracts/cancellation hoops to jump through, and the staff is amazing (at least when I went).

Okay dude straight up I been working out here for awhile now and I have to say it's really nice for a small gym but that's about where it stops unfortunately. The monthly payment plan they get you on here is cohere is completely outrageous in my opinion. I have been owned 2 free months since I have started working out here that I've never received and I get hit twice a year with their annual is in your wall maintenance fees... twice a year though lol that's 2 times, once every 6 months! It's ridiculous. I can't wait to move so I can stop using this gym. I use to love but not it's just a headache.

I have been an anytime fitness member for close to 2 years. I love the chain. I moved to the Columbus area this past year and this is the closest anytime fitness to me. I like this location but I was sad this location doesn’t have a ROGUE SAFETY SQUAT BAR like almost every single other location. I have back condition and it is much safer for me to squat using this type of barbell. I wish they would purchase one for this location. This is location is clean and overall pretty good.

It’s not horrible but it needs to be cleaned. The showers and bathrooms aren’t getting cleaned daily. The clocks are all wrong throughout the gym. Bolts and screws missing from benches and other equipment. The equipment isn’t getting wiped down, same stains few days in a row. Soap dispensers have been empty in the mid-morning several times. It’s actually a decent gym in a great location just needs some consistent attention as far as cleaning and maintenance.

The worst gym I have ever joined. READ ALL OF THE FINE PRINT IN THE CONTRACT. Including the part where you can freeze the account due to medical issues (Unexpected) for 30-90 days. I had to put my account on freeze temporarily, thinking I will be fine after 3 months. Well, I wasn’t. Sitting all day at work will do that to you. So I contacted the office and spoke with the general manager. She informed me that I needed a note from my doctor. Canceling the account due to medical issues requires a note from the doctor stating that i can no longer workout indefinitely. Yes, I said indefinitely. My doctor was shocked and refused to write the letter. She can’t predict the future. I then asked the GM how much would it be to close the account completely? I figured a couple hundreds dollars wasn’t worth thousands of dollars in surgery later. I was told my balance to close the account was $490.26. They pretend to help you freeze the account and only pay $2.50 per month until the account has been unfrozen. They then add those month to the end of the contract like a car loan company would do. These people don’t care about the members. They only care about money. I was also told the monthly membership would only be $24.71. It’s not. It’s $50.00 plus. The young man who signed me up walked out the following week.

Great place to work out for those serious about their fitness.
Lots of equipment to choose from both universal and free weights.
No business hours to worry about.
They're open 24/7 so it works around your schedule.
They give you a magnetic key fob that you swipe at the door to get in.
Price is a bit higher than other places but at around $30.00 a month it's worth it for what you get.
They also have individual restrooms and showers.
I think it's worth while to have your privacy and not have to worry about meat gazers staring at your shaft while showering or getting dressed.
Just saying......

Clogged toilets, water all over the floor of both restrooms with a shower, and wiping down equipment the amount of dirt on the wipes looked like it hasnt been cleaned in a long time. To be fair i visited on the weekend so maybe it says more about the members than the staff but holy cow.

I will preface this review with this - please do not “like” this post UNLESS it prevents you from joining this gym. The owners need to know how much their poor customer service is costing them.
Anytime fitness is an Absolute joke of a company. All they care about is money. They have a clause in their paperwork that you have to give 30 days notice to terminate your membership, even if you are paying month to month and no contract. That in and of itself is ridiculous. Clauses like that exist for industries such as rental properties to allow them time to find a tenant so they are not without rent, which is their entire source of income. In the case of Anytime Fitness, there is no justifiable reason they would have that other than to hit people for more money on the way out, likely after the member realizes how bad this company is. In my case, I gave my notice on the 1st of the month. They proceeded to tell me that they will process another payment on the following 30th date because that is their policy. Meaning, I already paid my dues the day before my notice (I gave my temrinateion on the 1st, memberships get charged on the 30th), giving me 30 more days of membership, but when they charge me on this next cycle they will have effectively charged me for 60 days of unused gym membership. I tried to reason with them indicating that the policy is ridiculous, but even so, if you count the day I gave notice, they are literally charging me for another month ON THE 30th DAY of the 30 day notice. How does that make sense?! They really don’t care about the members of their gym, only their money.

I have been trying to cancel my membership since the 15th and have been getting the run around. Finally spoke to someone partially intelligent (other than only being able to read their answers) being told I can't cancel until they receive additional information and 30 days from that. This company is so desperate for money they are trying to do whatever they can to prevent my cancellation. I've stopped going since bad experiences with some staff at 3 different locations.

Personal training staff is wonderful, but since the renovations that have been made the space to put your gym bags is two times smaller than the original, And the TV's on the elliptical and the treadmill do not work (sometimes the treadmills do but it's one channel and the elliptical ones never do). This gym was much more functional before it was renovated. My contract is almost up and I probably won't renew.

When we signed on we were promised a personal trainer that would check in with us a few times a week and help to motivate us. Never happened. Trying to cancel membership and they make you call the local club who then passes you off to someone else who then tells you you have to send written notice by certified mail and they'll cancel membership 30 days after. Also received repeated solicitations by text, despite informing them I was already a member and asking them to remove me from their list (which is super illegal). The gym itself was nice, but the membership is not what it was represented to be, by any means.

I really enjoy this 24/365 gym. I did not want to review it because I want it to my self 😑. Super friendly staff and users of the gym seem to be more kind than other gyms sharing and such. I have never been when crowded however if you enjoy the stair step elliptical this may not be the correct name for it they only have 2 but 4 other ellipticals. My only issue with gym is location because I am weak when it comes to food. There are many places to eat and shop around it.

Lied and mislead us to get our money then refused to offer times for training that we could do until after we wanted to cancel due to a trainer calling my disabilities “an excuse” and now they suddenly have later times open. Extremely manipulative group of people who refuse to respect clients needs and will lie to protect themselves and continue to take your money. I never thought I’d get so insulted and pay for personal training that they refused to offer at times when we could make it. A lot of false promises and rude degrading behavior. Don’t trust this location. There are many others who share similar stories and they will come out.

AVOID THIS PLACE AND ALL ANYTIME FITNESS LOCATIONS AT ALL COST.

All they want is your money, it is practically impossible to cancel your membership once you sign up. I've been trying to cancel because I moved for work and there isn't a location around me and I've been charged over $120. I even told them I would join one I move back, but not any more. This has to be the worst gym I've even been apart of. I've tried called them multiple times and no one answers. I would avoid at all cost.
