I was told not to leave a bad review to have the 15$ declined fee removed, so I’ll leave one that gives both the positives and negatives.

It only gets 2 stars because it is usually not that busy of a gym, and has good equipment. Also the staff are friendly and the place is modern.

Signed up almost a year ago and they don’t mention in voice anything about the three year membership. It’s 32.18 a month for me, and I cannot cancel it even tho I never even ended up using the gym equipment. I am going to start going there now to get my moneys worth I guess

So in a way I am being motivated to workout by the fact that otherwise I’m losing money. Kind of barely a positive. Also the person who told me to not leave a bad review isn’t a bad person and I feel bad for even leaving an unbiased review, but I cannot in good faith keep silent about the contract they want kept silent. It’s their primary way of making money, and I’ve heard they take a while to upgrade the guns

We also have to pay a yearly fee for gym equipment upkeep, and other reviews complain about stuff being out of order or outdated.

It’s not impossible for this place to be a 5 star experience, but you better know what you’re signing up for, because they purposely will keep it secret besides it being on contract. A 3 year mandatory no sign off membership and no other shorter term ones is horrible unless you are a permanent resident and never want to move and will ALWAYS want to workout every month, and will never have a 6 month period where they do other stuff.

So yeah, I’m cancelling my membership the minute I can and while I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend this gym to ANYONE, it would be in most people’s interest NOT to sign up for the membership unless you staying local for the next 3 years, and are able to remember to cancel the membership after 3 years!!!

24 hr gym with a daycare is clutch tho.

Great First Visit!

Stopped by Everybody Fitness in Englewood for the first time and was really impressed. The place is clean, well-organized, and had a solid variety of equipment. Staff was friendly and made me feel welcome right away, which I appreciated.

It wasn’t overly crowded, and I had no trouble getting through my workout. I liked the mix of machines and free weights, and everything seemed to be in good shape. Definitely feels like a place where people take fitness seriously but are still down-to-earth.

Looking forward to coming back and checking out more of what they offer.

Terrible gym and whoever the owner/ceo is does NOT care about their facilities. Every location I’ve been to all the equipment is outdated, old, and broken. It’s 2025 and they’re still using equipment from the early 2000s. It’s time to upgrade your stuff. To include racks and benches and new machines. None of the facilities are uniform either, some have a sauna, some don’t. They are all crusty looking whenever you enter the facilities. Needs better lighting, new carpeting, and flat out just needs a complete overhaul to renew everything. They make more than enough money from memberships alone to do this. Save your money. Also people, please STOP writing fake 5 star reviews because the staff pressure you or BRIBE you to. It’s just tricking more people into being scammed into this place. Help other people out.

I have been with this gym for 2 1/2 years on contract for $32.95 per month. This gym is the worst. There has been the same construction since I became a member at the Englewood facility and I thought that by this time the upgrades would have been completed. It is dirty and always smells. Their equipment is always out of order & outdated. I feel that because the clientele is prominently ethnic, the facility has been neglected. I will not be renewing my membership and I will tell everyone I know and strangers this was the grossest and worst gym in the Dayton area.

Love this gym. But a couple gripes. Rude new employee. Snarky and unpleasant. And stupid badge system. Why bother with it. You have to scan to get in the door. That alone should be enough to prove you have a membership. I mean I scan at the door, it unlocks and lets me in. Duh, that’s what my membership card is for. Then this rude employee says I have to scan at the desk too? What kind of dumb stone age system do they have here. Never had this issue before. Outdated system and unpleasant employees.

Out of town visiting and Christian was kind enough to walk me through the options as a guest visitor. First thing that jumped out at me was the cleanliness of the facility including the equipments and locker room. Everybody fitness? Crazy name for not welcoming everyone. I travel frequently for work and I am currently here contracting at Wright Patterson AFB.
I usually get day/week passes at whatever gym is in the area while traveling. Was told that they are “member oriented” and don’t cater to day /week passes. Asked to pay for a month but was told that was a no go as well. Don’t know what I expected, but didn’t think finding a place to lift while here working would be such a pain.

Don't buy a membership here. I had an injury and under drs care. Cancel 2 weeks in never used it at all. Lost the 1st month amount. They kept calling non stop after I canceled 4 months. Hit my account for 154.oo I never used that account one time and canceled it. FYI you don't use an account they can't charge it. That's fraud. Visa/Mastercard has a law service must be given to the person. If not it's fraud. If you can't charge a card after a couple attempts you can't go back certainly several months later hit that account.That's certainly is fraud. I reported mine to FTC as you should

Due to being high risk i was home esentially for 3 years during COVID. During that time I lost the person I once was. It left me mentally lost and physically 35 pounds heavier than I was pre covid.

I met Scott in 2023 by chance and he has literally gotten me on the path of getting back my life as I knew it before COVID. Scott has shown me nothing but kindness and encouragement. He isn't afraid to push me to be better and do more than I ever thought I could. I appreciate he doesn't charge me for his his training services as it would be costly. Amazingly nice owner. Has plenty of weights, equipment, an indoor track, sauna, dance studio and they teach classes. The entire bathrooms have even been renovated. I was in town temporarily and came here to workout. Gym staff was very friendly. Equipment selection is great. Only think I would recommend/add is a deadlift platform with round rubber weights (kinda difficult to deadlift with the octagon shaped weights). I saw the renovations in progress for the bathroom/showers and once finished it’ll make this gym 5x better. One more thing is they need to add a drink refill station. This may already be part of the renovations not sure. Overall great gym with a good thing going.

10/10 recommend this gym to anyone in the Dayton area. It has everything you need to get a full workout in: dumbbells, cables, Hammer Strength plate loaded machines and so much more. Do not sign up with this gym! You have to sign a 3 yr contract, but they will tell you it's 2 years. They will also tell you they are in the middle of renovations and it should be done in the next few months. It's been 15 months and nothing has changed. The machines up stairs, most are broken, (fans don't work or only one fan works on treadmills, only button that works is the quick start. The bike seats dont adjust (broken), no feet straps or machines are loud. The sauna is gross, missing tiles, bad smell or its broken. During the day, staff are not paying attention to the door and you can just walk in and go around the corner, up the stairs (not very good security.) The front cardio room looks good, but the place is very run down. Machines not properly disinfected, most of the time cant find disinfectant to wipe it done. (No paper towel or empty/missing bottles) You can not get out of contract, unless you buy out the full 3 years (over $650) unless you have a doctor's note of a permanent disability.

This gym has become very, very disappointing to me. The construction work has yet to be completed for new locker rooms, which has been going on for years. The sauna has been down for weeks now, which was an advertised perk when I signed up. Anyone can walk into the child care area without being addressed, which is INCREDIBLY unsafe and scary. There are constantly leaks from the ceilings which they usually have trash cans randomly on the floor to catch the water when this happens. When equipment is broken, it takes weeks-months for it to be repaired. The gym typically has a terrible odor. One of the sinks in the women’s restroom doesn’t even allow water to come out of it and typically is not restocked with paper towels. It’s frustrating to see the monthly fee’s and yearly fee (a cost that goes towards upkeep/maintenance at the gym) not being applied. The owner of this gym seems to shows a lack of appreciation and takes advantage of the community when it comes to being a member. I would not recommend the Englewood Everybody Fitness to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the ratings because they have promotions to boost them up.

It happened to my friend. She said one year then called and they had her for 3. They charged when they were not open during the pandemic. You will NOT get your money back and they will never cancel, even if you literally don't have the money.

Their financial department is separate from the gym. Don't be surprised if your paperwork gets lost..somehow. Also beware of automatic renewal. The price is too high for how slowly they go about repairing everything.

When I called to cancel, well, not renew because they wont cancel, the person who answered acted like they were too busy for me and annoyed. They also took their time so I had to keep up because I'm sure I was forgotten about. Please dont get scammed.

Absolutely fantastic!!!! Staff and facilities super clean and nice. Staff was super understanding that we are from out of town and let us use their facilities for just the day. I would highly recommend this place for those both in and out of town!!!!

They have been working on the new locker room for literally over 2 years and it’s nowhere close to being finished. Meanwhile The temporary locker room is a small and a mess.

I don’t shower there anymore because there is literally never any hot water...ever - not even from the sinks.

The employees sit around and play on their phones while stuff is broken and needs fixed or filled back up.

When things break down, it takes forever for them to fix it. The “out of order” signs sit on equipment for days to weeks.

They got rid of the hot tub and swimming pool too. Why?

I noticed they have a bunch of five star reviews all of a sudden too. Those were never there before and if you look, the people that gave them...that is the only review they have ever done. That’s probably because I think the club did a contest for a big screen TV and the entry required was a five star review. I guess they needed better ratings, eh? Very sus.

This has been my all time favorite gym in Dayton for years. Back when it was Premier the great Pat Miller changed my life in this gym, training me and giving me a foundation that has never left me. Years later this place still has all the real training equipment and bodybuilding weights anyone needs, very clean and professional. A blessing to have this place. Stopped into Everybody Fitness- Englewood while visiting family. Scott greeted me at the door and made the setup process a breeze. The gym is filled with many options for your needs with plenty of space. I was more than happy with my time here and I’m definitely making this my spot for vacation lifts. Highly recommend to locals and vacationers.

Club is 40k sq ft and has more amenities and equipment than every other gym. One of the cleanest gyms I've been to as well. Staff is professional but cool and chill at the same time. Memberships are diverse. They were very upfront and transparent when I signed up. Overall, great experience.

Gym is huge! Indoor track, multiple benches and squat racks, and every machine(cable and hammer strength) you can want. Plus enough plates to load every machine with some left over. Staff is upfront and welcoming.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Trying to cancel membership and they continue to fraudulently charge credit card. Correct procedure to cancel was followed. Rise Financial will not acknowledge and now attempting to collect. Been going on since 2020. We had to cancel card to make illegal withdrawals stop. Will probably sue. Recommend everyone be very leary of this company.
