Live Fit Personal Training and Nutrition uses an individualized approach to help people engage in healthier habits. By focusing on the individual in one-on-one appointments, we are able to design workouts that prevent pain from previous injuries, cater to personal goals, and achieve optimal results. Our Full-Time Registered Dietitian can help you make a meal plan that works for you! Here at Live Fit, we know our clients by their first name and celebrate birthdays regularly. Everyone finds it easy to get to know the trainers and other clients due to our private gym environment—eliminating crowds and unnecessary intimidation.

I've been working with Laura for about a year, and she's exceeded my expectations. At age 59, I've been concerned about core strength and flexibility, primarily because I want to avoid growing old with pain. She designs program to fit my specific needs, and pays close attention to my form. I haven't "tweaked" my low back in months, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my overall strength. Live Fit is not a fancy place, but it has all the right equipment, the staff is great, and it's a friendly place to be.

I started attending Live Fit in Westlake 3 years ago to gain strength and reduce the number of injuries and pain I was experiencing. Mark discovered my back pain was caused by weak core muscles. All of our workout sessions concentrate on core exercises that frankly, I would not do on my own, because they do not seem strenuous enough. Mark understands how to improve better than me. Since attending Live Fit with Mark, I have not had any back pain, my overall strength has improved, and my posture is better. I can workout on my own, but I cannot get the personalized guidance to correct my weaknesses without attending Live Fit. I highly recommend Mark and Laura and Live Fit.

I was a little leary about going to a personal trainer. After working out with Justin, for the last 3 months, I have no regrets. Money well spent. I look forward to my 30 minute session with Justin. He works with me to make sure I'm getting the most out of each exercise. I have built strength and stamina. I have even lost 7 lbs since starting. My workouts have help reduce stress after a tough day at work. I have taken what Justin has taught me home. On my off workout days I do a lot of the same exercises at home. Highly recommend Liv Fit!!

My husband and I have been going to live fit for a few months now. We are both noticing a difference in our muscle strength and endurance! Also, the staff there are very nice and extremely knowledgeable! The atmosphere is relaxed and very comfortable. You never feel crowded in the space. I had visited other personal trainers at their gyms before I found live fit. Other gyms were too crowded and too loud. I felt more like I was in a dance club at the other gyms! Live Fit is a great environment and a relaxed and supportive place to work out! I see Mark and my husband sees Justin.

I have been training with Laura for over 2 years. My husband trains with Laura too, and we both really enjoy it. Laura meets you where you’re at, and gives you the support you ask for. We really appreciate that Laura is often able to accommodate schedule changes and can provide virtual sessions. We both feel much safer working with Laura. We’ve injured ourselves trying to get back into shape on our own, but Laura can spot and solve trouble as soon as it begins to appear. Even with having only one training session a week I have made life-changing gains while going through women’s health issues and a broken leg. Doing daily tasks is so much easier now (ex. loading/unloading the car, housework, yard work).
I haven’t worked with the other trainers at LiveFit, but they are personable and I know they all work together to make each other better. I can tell they have many long-term clients because I see them there week after week. Because of my experiences at Live Fit, I have recommended all my family members get their own personal trainers (sadly they do not live in the area).
I cannot recommend Live Fit enough to anyone that wants to get stronger, healthier, or happier.

I think I speak for all of the Live Fit clients when I say that the studio is our home away from home. At Live Fit, the personal trainers really care; they are committed to their clients and go to great lengths to enable us to achieve our evolving fitness goals. Here, clients typically arrive early and, after their sessions, they never rush to leave because of the positive environment that the trainers create.
I'm currently working with Laura, and have worked with Mark in the past; both of them have made all the difference in my fitness journey.
For all of these reasons and more, I give Live Fit my highest recommendation!

I have been working out with Bernadette at Live Fit for a little over a year now. She has really helped me to build my strength- I never thought I’d be lifting 15-20lb weights! It’s amazing that I feel my strongest now, in my 40s, but Live Fit has helped me to achieve my goals. I struggle with arthritis, and Bernadette has really helped me to deal with this by teaching me stretches to do and adapting my exercise when I’m having a tough day. I love the combination of more intense circuits combined with yoga poses. Highly recommend!

I decided to lose some weight before my Hawaiian vacation, so my daughter arranged a free consultation with Mark at Live Fit in Westlake. Mark suggested dietary tips and interval training to tone my muscles and raise my metabolism. I worked out at Live Fit twice per week with Mark as my personal trainer and lost weight and gained muscle.
I look and feel great and my flexibility is better than ever. My workouts get harder as I use heavier dumbbells and do different exercises. I'm glad I found something that works, my body responds better to Mark's program than it did with aerobics. I love going to Live Fit. I'm making good gains and I continue to see and feel the results. I highly recommend Live Fit for your body transformation, it works for me. By the way, I'm a baby boomer. Update : It will be 8 years since I started personal trainer with Mark . It’s been a blessing. I knocked off over 20 lbs and am able to keep the weight off. I increased my stamina. Livefit is one of my happy places and I go there twice a week for a private session. Other trainers who sub for Mark are Laura and Bernadette who are very attentive. I recommend giving this gym a try!

My mom and I both train at Live Fit with Laura. She is an excellent trainer and very personable! I first attended LiveFit and was paired with my Trainer, Laura P. Even though I'm a little weird (EXTREMELY long torso and short appendages), she was able to work with me to modify exercises and help me focus on getting a challenging, safe, and complete full body workout. With her help in learning what to do in the gym in and outside of LiveFit I was able to lose 60 pounds, and increase my aerobic capacity a ton. I started @ 250lbs and I couldn't jog 1/4 a mile and now I weigh 185 and can run a 6 minute mile, all thanks to her careful planning and attention to making exercise work for me instead of just feeding me a "one-size-fits-all" program.
I have had a wonderful experience at LiveFit, and with Laura and plan on continuing to buy a package once per year just to work on problem areas that I notice as I continue my fitness journey.

Wonderful workout facility! Very clean! The instructors sanitize the equipment after every client. I have been going there for a year and my fitness level has improved tremendously! I've been working out at Live Fit now for over 3 years and really enjoy training with Heidi. I started training with Heidi in preparation for my wedding, but I have continued to train with her well past my wedding date. This is the longest amount of time I have consistently worked out in my entire life. I have built muscle, gained endurance, and have found a renewed confidence in my body. I cannot express how happy I’ve been with my experiences at Live Fit! Heidi has been my trainer for nearly a year and a half and I have made more progress in this last year and a half than I ever thought possible. I’m an avid runner, but never took the time or interest to focus on my overall health and strength. Heidi is constantly going above and beyond to tailor workouts that build strength that will not negatively impact my running training schedule. I’ve worked with other trainers in the past and none have worked so hard to ensure my goals are the priority instead of goals created on my behalf. I also never felt confident to go to a gym and workout myself and Heidi has taught me so much that I finally have the confidence to keep up my workouts on weeks where I may be traveling and not able to get to the gym. When I first found myself at Live Fit I was very nervous about the idea of a personal trainer and if I would feel uncomfortable working out with someone watching me, but I also was not happy with myself and knew I needed to make a change. Before Live Fit, I would work out here and there, but was never consistent. I signed up for 4 times a week with Heidi and can honestly say it has changed my life forever. Heidi was so sweet and tried her hardest to make sure I felt comfortable at the gym and that I understood all the exercises I was doing. I trained with Laura from July 2017 to May 2018. In that time I lost 20 pounds and went from a size 12 to a size 4. She is amazing! I absolutely love Live Fit. I reached out when I felt like I was at a point that I was out of control with my weight. I started about a month ago with Bridget and she has helped me lose about 13 lbs so far! Not only does she give me a great workout, but she helps me when it comes to the mental part of losing weight and being healthy. At our first session I was emotional and was able to open up about everything I was going through and Bridget was able to listen to me and walk me through everything easily and comfortably at my own pace. Live Fit Personal Training + Nutrition is an awesome and private fitness studio, that offers 1-on-1 personal training sessions in a judgement-free environment! They design personalized workout plans specific to your fitness goals and accommodate to your schedule.
The trainers here are very motivating and it's obvious that they care about your success. My trainer, Bridget, took the time to get to know me and customized the best workouts. She helped me achieve my weight loss goal and build lean muscle, I could not be happier with my results so far!
There is also a Registered Dietitian at Live Fit, which is incredible! I was able to consult with him and receive reliable nutrition advice, which has helped me reach my goals even quicker.

If I could give a 6-star rating, I would. If you're looking for quality 1-on-1 personal training in a relaxed and laid back environment at a very reasonable price, no one beats Live Fit. Mark and his team genuinely care about the progress and well-being of their clients, and they offer several different packages that allow for flexible scheduling. By following Mark's simple meal plan and coming in 3 times a week, I steadily lost 35 pounds over 6 months, and the definition in both my upper and lower body really started to take shape. Before I came to Live Fit, I hadn't really been making an effort to watch what I eat or be active, but the routine I developed there not only helped me get in shape but it gave me a foundation to remain healthy on my own in the long-term. Needless to say, I don't know where I'd be health-wise without Live Fit. Definitely the best decision I've made in years.

I absolutely love this place. I have struggled with weight & depression for many years and about 5 months ago, I had finally decided that taking care of my health needed to be a priority. Attending personal training twice a week at Live Fit has honestly been the best thing I have ever done for myself. I have absolutely no natural instincts in a gym and I am about as uncoordinated as they come, which resulted in years of me avoiding gyms, working out or really any kind of physical activity outside of walking my dogs. It's really nice to go to a gym that isn't crowded and every person working out is with a trainer, so no one is (other than your trainer) is really paying any attention to you. I actually enjoy exercising now and I view it more as something I "get" to do, rather than punishment for inactivity or overeating. I feel so much better on the days I go there. I sleep better, I'm motivated to eat better and I am much less depressed and anxious. Heidi has been working with me and I cannot say enough good things about her. She truly just wants you to feel better. She is very down to earth, works with you to set attainable goals, is extremely positive and encouraging and makes working out fun. She is so incredibly kind and patient. I think I have lost about 30 pounds in these 5 months, but more importantly, I am no longer taking blood pressure medication and I feel so much happier. All the staff (Mark, Tom & Heidi) at Live Fit are incredibly kind and professional. It is a very laid back atmosphere and they just want you to be happy. I will have to stop going there soon (only for financial reasons - I so wish I had the budget to keep this going....it is absolutely worth every penny), but I feel like I can go to a gym now with newfound confidence. I'm so very grateful for Live Fit.

I really had a fun experience at Live Fit. It is a private gym that that focuses on 1-on-1 training. From the get-go I was given a customized workout program that was tailored to me needs. I have been with Live Fit for 1 1/2 years. In that time I saw myself lose 46 pounds. I found the personal training I received there to be excellent. They do work with your changing needs. I have been riddled with back problems that slow me down but they have adjusted my workouts so that I do not injure myself. I still have a long way to go but I know this journey will continue to be with Live Fit. Mark and his staff do an excellent job and being able to combine it with nutrition consults is a definite help. You will do great with anyone in that facility. I totally recommend it!

In my 20's I was very active and was actually worked with clients as a Personal Trainer for many years. But my career had taking me to what is primarily a desk job that requires long hours and bad eating/fitness habits. I was looking to get back into the gym and lose the unwanted pounds that I had accumulated.
Since I had some experience in personal training in a past life I was very skeptical of working with someone until I met Tom at Live Fit. Tom put together a program and routine that that I could not only follow but was excited to do. He was also willing to work around the very tight windows of my schedule. His dedication to my fitness goals really took away a lot of the normal roadblocks that most people put up when trying to shed that unwanted weight and start a new program.
If you choose Live Fit you will also be very impressed by the level of Customer Service that the owner Mark and his Training Staff put into each one of their clients. I have witnessed many other people that come to the gym, they all seem to be having the same great experience as I do.
Overall, my experience with Live Fit has been nothing but enjoyable and I would highly suggest Live Fit for anyone trying to get in to shape, lose weight, or even change up an already successful fitness routine.

I am not athletic or even relatively in shape which is one of the main reasons I go to Live Fit. The atmosphere is very comfortable, unintimidating and, at times, could even be considered fun (depending on the workout at the time!). Even though I may, at times, not have kind thoughts of Tom, my trainer, during a workout :) , I know he’s pushing me but still keeping the workouts in context with what I can actually do. Additionally, Tom will take the time to answer questions and provide recommendations for life style changes I can do on my off days to improve my eating and activity habits. I do know that if I did not have scheduled appointments with Tom I would not be working out on my own.
