One of the evening weekday male workers requested to follow my social accounts. Not even 5 minutes after my first time in there I had a follow request on my Instagram. I’m a little concerned by this as he must have had to go into my account, look at my information, and search me up. This isn’t the way employees should be acting and I’m pretty sure that’s against their policy. Otherwise the gym is great and clean and the other staff are lovely.

I always read reviews when headed to a PF I have never been to and I'm always surprised at some of these reviews. Yes....workers SHOULD BE professional and friendly. BUT.......a lot of these workers are kids who are just trying to make some money doing the bare minimum AND I'm not there to socialize or make friends so I don't let it bother me. Safe planet fitness for truck drivers, I stopped thru and got my workout in with a few other drivers and left with no trouble. There are no truck parking signs all over the place so I wouldn’t recommend staying the night but if you looking to stop in for a hour or 2 workout this is a good spot, the also have the most benches I’ve ever seen at a planet fitness so no waiting around all day to get on the bench press 👌🏽

Follow the road all the way around to the back entrance, do not use the first 2 entrances if your in a semi.

This Planet Fitness is easily a five out of five. Everything is nicely spaced out, and the equipment selection is genuinely impressive. Whoever planned the layout and picked the machines did an excellent job—eight Smith machines is a game changer. At most gyms, including many Planet Fitness locations, there never seem to be enough of them considering how popular they are. It’s always frustrating when you're stuck waiting around for a machine, but that’s not an issue here. The amount they have is genuinely appreciated.

They also have some equipment I’ve personally never seen at a Planet Fitness before. The Hammer Strength variety is great, and they even have a newer hack squat and an actual hip thrust machine. I don’t know if that’s rare for the chain overall, but it’s definitely the first time I’ve seen those here, and it really stood out.

The vibe is relaxed, everything is clean, and overall it just feels like a solid, well-run gym. Showers and bathrooms are clean too—no complaints there.

Overall, I really enjoyed this location, and I honestly think it’s just a very solid gym.

I've been using this location almost two years. I'm loving the remodel that was just completed. I'm enjoying the space between machines without feeling like I'm interrupting someone's workout. The only downside is the lack of dre
ssing areas per shower stall... can be kinda difficult if more than two people getting out of the shower to get dressed at the same time, unless you don't mind being naked in front of others. Staff are friendly.

I’ve visited multiple locations of this fitness club across country but this one stands out as the best by far! The gym is incredibly spacious, with plenty of room between equipment, allowing you to focus on your workouts without feeling crowded. The layout is well thought out, making it easy to navigate and find what you need. The quality of the equipment is top-notch, especially the bikes and row machines, which are a pleasure to use. Currently Open during their remodel. Some machines have been removed off the floor and put in storage and others are taped off during the remodel. Somewhat clean facility, most machines working, not too crowded during the day on a Wednesday.
Mixed crowd of people who all appear to be clean and not causing problems. Parking lot is RV and 18 wheeler friendly. Other than there's a sign for no trucks and trailers to go into the one driveway, best to avoid that driveway as it has a very sharp turn and is not very thick with concrete borders. So follow the directions do the other driveway.
If this were my only local gym, I would go here. Not sure how busy it is in the afternoons on weekdays.

Planet Fitness is the cheapest gym in town, but don’t think you are getting a great deal. You get what you pay for. Before you sign up, check the reviews on Yelp where they have only 1.5/5.0 stars.

Also, be aware -- if you decide to sign up, for most locations the only two ways to cancel your membership are to go to the gym in person to cancel, or send a letter. When was the last time you licked a stamp?

Smaller than other PFs but its VIP Black Room is the same as others. At this location they use the computer schedule, then you go to the desk. The shower is a regular shower head, and they have warm water. The only adjustment is the water pressure when a toilet flushes.

This is a crowded, popular big box gym. The machines are basic, for example the ellipticals lack an adjustable incline feature. A surprising number of machines had the tension adjustment broken or failed to power on, four at recent visits. Brought it to attention of female desk staff on duty but they "didn't know about how to do that," the matter was left for manager followup. It would be cool to extend hours past 7PM on weekends again in the future.

Got done working around 6pm on a Saturday, by the time I got to the gym at 6:45pm and changed, I did one set and was informed the gym was closing at 7pm. I work a lot and don’t keep normal hours like some people so it was always super convenient that this gym was open when others weren’t. I've been a black card member at both PFs in the area. This one is more vigilant about members cleaning the equipment. The one older blonde lady staff member was very rude to me one morning. The morning gym crowd is great. The morning gym crowd consists mainly of older casual gym patrons who are very friendly and go out of their way to say hello amongst each other.

In the evening, this place becomes club Planet Fitness packed with a young and sometimes inconsiderate crowd. Too many gym brahs who hog multiple machines supersetting and Instagram wannabes hogging Smith machines with hip thrusts.

I have been a black card member for 7 years. I am beyond irritated that they are no longer a 24/7 club. I am definitely considering canceling my membership and joining a gym that is 24/7. However, my review is not just based on the hours being extremely inconvenient now but it is also in conjunction to the very unprofessional and unfriendly staff.
MOST (not all) of the male staff are pretty friendly and say hello and goodbye. Almost NONE of the female staff are nice at all. I try to say hello or goodbye and they look away, or they are too busy playing on their phones and do not look up at me, or they just blatantly ignore me. They seriously need a reality check. That is so disrespectful and unprofessional. I am really extremely irritated. I have just about had it with this place. I am not happy at all. I have stopped 2x at the Saint clairsville oh location. Both times I have walked out without leaving the check in area. First time I checked in then stood in line to make tanning booth appointment. Finally get there and have my hand up getting ready to hit the next available time when a worker says excuse me and I move and he hit my time slot I told him I was getting ready to hit that time he completely ignored me and started talking to the new member he just signed up. Staff is by far the most unprofessional and unfriendly I’ve ever experienced at a planet fitness. They’re always just huddled at the front desk on their phones, never interacting with the members. Today Saturday 3/27 there were 5 employees at the front desk on their phones, including the manager, while several elderly members with walkers and canes were struggling to seat themselves on various pieces of equipment. The facility wasn’t always this poorly run, I’ve been visiting on and off for 5 years, but the current management is atrocious and I see lots of replies on these review stating “contact the facility manager” but how is one supposed to do that when they are no place to be found? This whole facility needs to clean house and start fresh because these “employees” are completely worthless.

This is my first time joining a gym. Great price , especially for all you get with a black card membership. I was unhappy with some experiences I had with the night shift employees; leaving front desk unattended for extended periods of time, goofing off and not being professional. I filled out a survey on the Planet Fitness website and within HOURS I had a phone call from Keegan, the gym manager, Wanting to know about my experience and assuring me things would be addressed. Filed a complaint before COVID on cleanliness, lack of care for equipment, outdated equipment, and more. Manager called me personally and ensured they would increase the cleanliness, and shutdown briefly in April/May to replace skins on equipment, maintenance equipment, and even bring in rowing machines.........the club was closed for months and NONE OF THESE THINGS HAPPENED!! Dirtier than ever cause more people there due to new hours. And NO showers!!! What the hell?!!
