Truckers, don't try to park right by PF. It's maze-like and super tight. Lots of room over by Firestone and JCPenney, or in the vacant area where Dillard's used to be (with the red arches on the other side of Buffalo Wild Wings). Nobody should bother you and there is mall security.

Update: new mall owners have posted signs saying no overnight parking. No idea how strictly it's enforced.

It's a good gym, but i will say that it's massively disappointing that the Boardman location is not actually open 24/7 as it closes as 9 on the weekends. Pretty misleading.

Love working out here, but the bathrooms and showers don't cleaned enough for me. I finally said something about it today because the same trash and mess was in both the bathroom and shower stalls from yesterday. No telling if it had been there the day before that. I only worked out and left, but it's normal for that to go on. I just finally said something about it this morning because they might need new staff at this point.

I love PF because of the hours it’s open. I’m a night person who worked midnights for years so if I want to workout at midnight or two AM I can. They are closed Friday and Saturday nights though and I wish they weren’t but everything else there is great.

I go here 4 or 5 times a week. They do a nice job keeping the facility clean and sanitized. They have lots of equipment and you usually don't have to wait unless you want to use the fly machines. People camp on those. The staff is pretty cool. I did get irritated with one of the girls working there because I had a small bag (like may others working out there), and she insisted that I use a locker. I thought it was crap and I didn't have a lock. Overall though, a very good place to get a workout in. Most of the patrons are pretty chill, too.

Planet Fitness truly is a no judgment zone. I feel very comfortable coming here, even though I'm not young and toned. The staff are friendly and helpful and the people who go there are mostly considerate of others around them. I like the variety of machines there and the Black Card membership offers extra amenities, such as massage chairs, tanning and light therapy. The only thing I miss here is a sauna and possibly a pool.

Might as well have cardboard cut outs for front desk staff. They don’t greet or say goodbye to any of their clients, rather, stand up there and goof around with their coworkers. I am once again reminded why I’d rather drive the extra 20 minutes to go to the Austintown location instead of this one.

Dawn is the best. This gym is my go-to. They have all necessary equipment that I don’t already have in my home gym. It’s well kept and everyone is super friendly. However, I have to give Dawn a shout out. She is the kindest person ever and she always assisted the older man to get into his car and just always had such a warm, welcoming smile. I will say I dislike how hard it is to update information / membership stuff. The younger staff always tells me to do it elsewhere. But anywho!

Clean facility. Friendly staff. A lot of weights, cables, machines, treadmills, mirrors, motivational sayings on the walls... plenty of bikes and stair machines. 30 minute full-body workout room. Hydro bed and regular chair Massage. Vibra booth.
Hybrid Tanning, regular tanning. I don't know what this gym lacks. Ah... no sauna or pool or sporting stuff. But it's still my favorite gym of the past 8 years. Doesn't matter how I feel going in, I always leave feeling GREAT!!! Get up and go! :)

I've been to well over 100 PF clubs all over the country, and I rate them based on size and quality and quantity of equipment. This is definitely a 5-star facility, but I did have a couple of disappointments. It's huge. One of the biggest PF I've been to. But it was missing a few machines that other clubs this size have. It didn't make any sense that they had 3 of some machines, but only 1 of others (when they're equally popular machines). They get 5 stars for choosing the best cardio equipment, which is Life Fitness. Worse PF clubs choose Matrix, which are terrible. The other disappointment, though, was that they keep it way too warm in here.

Probably the most unwelcoming planet fitness I've ever been to. Went to use a machine and had no idea a trainer was using all of the equipment. He yelled at me that he was in the middle of a class and that he was using a machine that wasn't even being used. Judgement free zone my behind. Just another gym bro place.

Great gym could use some a little more customer/employee report. Theres one dude that always where a hat young tall usually says hi he seems like a nice kid and a new lady with purple or blue hair I'm color blind but it seems she actually has a customer service back ground. N the one cute blond has gotten a lot more approachable seems like she leaned into the job its good to see. Also she like the only one I ever see cleaning, maybe its just a seniority thing idk. Everyone else are young wrapped up in conversation ect to even say hi or bye when u come in and leave I mean it's not a big deal but ive worked at 3 planets actually i worked at that one, at the other location and usual customer service is hi when people come and bye when they leave, simple. Yet it gives people an atmospheric vibe of warmth and encouragement. In a world becoming void of a warm welcome I'd just love to see one once a day. They took away the benches in ladies shower room and replaced them with a bench that is 3ft by 2 ft so either you put you gym bag on it and no where to sit to remove clothes or you have to put gym bag on dirty floor. I sent message to their corporate office no response and neither did the manager.

Paid for Black Card to work out and so that my wife could use the hydro massage for her bad back. It provides her some relief.

Staff refused to let her use it since "I" was the member and she merely the guest. What difference does it make? I paid for the membership.

Staff also less than helpful if you aren't familiar with the machines. They just want to you look it up on your phone.

Never had an issue at any of the other surrounding planet fitness. But my spouse and I always meet at the gym after work, we get off a half hour after one another. Walk into boardmans today to get ready for my workout while I wait for my husband who's name the membership is under to get off work. Get told I can't come in til he arrives. You need to get a regular rule going. Your telling me I have to pay for a whole other membership just so I don't have to wait in my car for 30 minutes? I mean honestly. I haven never had an issue with austintown when we do this. Also your parking lot smells light straight weed. Get your guy's act together.

My husband and I Came in yesterday to cancel because we have not been able to get there to use our membership.
Still being charged for another month even after explaining our situation.

Our schedules have changed drastically and with 5 kids we are unable to currently get there and had plans to re sign up once our schedules settled down in the next few months. Find it absolutely insane for us to be both paying for black cards memberships when we can’t use them right now and have a family. Such a waste of $.
