My son and I train with Lauren 3 days a week and we love it! Lauren is so sweet and one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. All the coaches are personable and want you to achieve your best. The Owner, Lauren Rutan, is certified in just about everything but more importantly, her having competed in many sports over the years gives her the knowledge and edge to help you along your fitness journey.

Since Lauren has taken ownership, sheβs been changing things for the better of the gym and members. She truly wants each member to have the best gym experience , no matter what that would be (Ignite, Strength, Personal training are just some of the programs she offers)

I joined with only a personal weight loss goal in mind (Iβm down 16lbs thus far!!) but I've managed to gain some awesome friendships with the other members along the way.
The camaraderie with the other members is motivating and I look forward to going to the gym every morning.

This place has recently been taken over by new management. The class options are great and varied, there is newer equipment with the addition rowers, bikes and ski ergs. They are in the process of incorporating kids classes and will continue to make efficient changes for the members to get the most bang for their buck. Update: I've been going to Summer's Fitness for 3 years now. The amazing part is that I still love going here. I've maintained my 35-40 pound weight loss, I look forward to my workouts and I am so much healthier than I was 3 years ago. Hello, SF. I was last a member of the SFF in June 2020, but things turned my choices so I could workout with closer-to-home means. I had mostly great things to say about the whole thing, so thank you again after a long time, even though I've not been around. The convenience and classes were perfect for the time. Over the last 5-6 months, I've joined a different type of facility that has the right stuff, too, to a point. It made me think and miss SF b/c of the extra family-like attention you got from them. I especially loved holidays and special days that were implemented into the fitness. The support didn't just come from coaches and owners, but it came from every member regardless of them ever meeting or working out with you at a time. I know I don't have that where I am now, but I'm getting a great perspective on what I want to do or not. Although life now doesn't fit SF into it, I miss it and I wish I had something like that again that still showed so much familial support as the SFF did. Thank you again from a former member. ~CDubs

I came to Summer's Fitness on a whim and when I first started I was embarrassed, scared and never thought I'd be able to do the Bootcamp style classes. The coaches were amazing about showing me ways to modify moves while always encouraging me to push myself. It was never about not being able to do something, it was about starting at my level and working up to it. They remember where I'm at, how I'm doing and guide me on where to go next. Even the other clients come together to lift each other up. During the shut down there was a fluid transition into online sessions; which we still have the option of attending because they understand everyone is at their own comfort level on their own schedule. Summer's Fitness has zoom calls just to check in and chat about nutrition, wins and struggles so we can support one another. There is a firm and genuine focus on being healthy all around, mind and body. Its not about the scale, its about the wins! I've lost some weight, dropped a dress size but I've also gained confidence, lessened anxiety, sleep better and have more energy... ALL related to changes they've helped me make.

At Summer's Fitness, we always have a word of the week; something to think about, somewhere to place our focus. This week is all about motivation. I joined Summer's last August. Unfortunately, I sustained an injury in September and finally had to pause my membership for medical reasons in February of this year. Since then I have had 2 major surgeries, and am still not cleared for workouts. Even though I am not technically a member, I am still a part of the Summer's Fitness family, and they have never let me forget that! When Coach Todd SummersFitness asked me where I find my motivation, the answer was simple. I find my motivation within myself and in all the posts online showing how hard everyone is working! The strides I have made on my own since my surgeries have kept me going, and seeing my Summer's Fitness family working so hard keeps me pushing to stay on top of my goals so that I can join them all again. I am really anxious to get back in the gym! The coaches and other members have given me so much strength and support through everything. It means more to me than they will ever know! They changed my life...seriously! The coaches and staff have given me the tools and support to believe in myself, and they make me want to succeed and smash my goals! There is truly no better gym, or coaches, or fitness family out there!! Summer's Fitness is the absolute BEST π
I am stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally because of the Summer's Fitness family, and I can't wait to be back in the gym with them!

I have joined other gyms, and Summer's Fitness is like no other gym I have been a member of! It's like a family! They are there to support you through every stage of your journey, good times and bad! They're willing to answer any questions you have and will always give you modifications for any reason! I IaI dosdo thegthe Bootcamp workouts andIand itfit is so easy for me to fit them into my day! Only 30 minutes and believe me, it's definitely a good workout! I am so glad I found the Summer's Fitness family. They have been instrumental in my weight loss journey so far! Iβve been a SF member for just over a year. I go to 4-6 sessions a week including strength training and boot camp. Iβve never felt more in shape! The instructors are attentive, enthusiastic and easy to follow. Iβm made to feel welcome every time I walk in the door. If you do the workouts and make some dietary modification ( which the coaches will sit down with you for no additional charge and review) , you WILL see results. Iβve lost 2 pants sizes and love it!

The Forever Fit training sessions, lead by Jeremy Montabone, has done wonders for me. We are all more flexible and stronger. Jeremy emphasizes balance, strength and strengthening core muscles. He keeps it fresh and individualizes exercises for the those in the small group as needed. He has earned 5 stars! I would not hesitate to recommend this small group personal training sessions. At age 68, I would challenge any 40 year old to keep up w/me!

The six week challenges are not βfreeβ and the owner can be very misleading. Arbonne is pushed heavily throughout the gym bc the owner sells it and gets several members to sign up beneath her. While I was optimistic at first about the gym, it didnβt take long to see just how unethical of a place this really is. The price is steep (more than you can imagine) and all it pays for is 30 minute boot camps. Disappointing, to say the least. While I absolutely loved a couple of the coaches, itβs simply not worth it.

This gym is my happy place! The bootcamps are result producing 30 minute workouts that allow you to challenge yourself....no matter what your physical fitness level is. The coaches motivate, coach, counsel and even offer some tough love truths when you need to hear it. The other members are FRIENDLY, non judgemental and we all encourage each other. No other gym has kept me this motivated to attend bootcamp 4 days a week,provided nutritional education that has allowed me to make healthy living a passion.
If you are unhappy and feel crappy...take 30 minutes to go and talk to Devin Crooks or Summer Montabone. Make your next move to start living your life ...happy!

I completed the #6WeekChallenge a few weeks ago. I was instantly hooked to Summer's Fitness! When I began my journey, I was nervous about jumping into the workouts and meal plans, but when I started, I noticed how the entire atmosphere at Summer's Fitness was welcoming and inviting. The workouts are tough, but get you results! The meal plan didn't leave me starving, by the time I felt hungry, it was time to eat another meal. I highly recommend Summer's Fitness to anyone big, medium, or small. The focus isn't on competing with the person beside you, but rather competing with yourself and reaching your own personal goals and seeing your own individual results. This gym has changed my life!! The classes are only 30 minutes ! Offered many times through out the day making it easy to be able to attend at least one class a day! I have been a member for over two years now seeing awesome results losing over 20 inches 20 pounds and losing body fat. I have tried many gyms and βfadβ diets but nothing ever stuck until I found summers fitness the staff and coaches are awesome and accommodating to everyoneβs fitness level and needs! I have never been much of a gym person as I have always prefered to workout on my own. Summer's was recommended to me because I was looking for an atmosphere that was motivational, driven and friendly. There was zero intimidation walking into the gym and before starting I had a hard time walking up and down stairs due to major knee surgeries. Today, I am 100 times stronger than I was 9 months ago when I started. I have become stronger and healthier than I have been since college.... Thanks to Devin and the entire family at Summer's, I have a different perspective on being a member at a gym and am pain free.

The staff is caring and positive. The Bootcamp classes are effective. But I wouldn't encourage signing up for the FREE 6 work Bootcamp. It was worded in my sign up that "upon COMPLETION" of the 6 week challenge you would get a refund (500.00 by the way). Never was it worded as "successfully completing your goal" which is 25 pounds lost or 6% bodyfat in 6 weeks. You get a check sheet love everything you must do...take pictures post in a FB group and check in on FB every time you go. Which I did all of. But since I lost just under 6%body fat .... No refund for me. All I am saying is don't word something for FREE that isn't. And make sure to tell everyone who signs up THE SAME THING in THE SAME WAY. Deceiving in my opinion.

Sneaky and misleading. Try to make you sign paper work and they don't even show you around. Tried to get prices for monthly membership. I said I had to talk to my husband first..they said HE would have to come in..what???? Scam..only want you to post positive comments in Facebook ..that is something you agree to when signing up. I belong to a GREAT CrossFit in North Canton..this place is a HUGE RIP OFF... members of my CrossFit group have been there and have nothing good to say about this place. Do your research and know that you cant lose 5 to 6 lbs a week in a healthy way!!! Don't get suckered. .BE SMART!!!! AND RUN AWAY!!!!!

This is gonna sound cheesy but Summers fitness literally changed my life. I've tried programs in the past but never really felt committed. The challenge I joined was so supportive and motivating. I was searching for a gym last fall. I took advantage of the trial membership a few places offer. Once I spent a month at Summer's I cancelled the other trial I had scheduled. Everything you need in one place! So many different class times to fit any schedule. The staff and other members are helpful and no one judges you. I can modify any exercise to fit my personal needs. It's even made a morning person out of me. I love 6:00 AM Bootcamp!!!! What a way to start your day.

I was afraid that he/she would be too much of a drill sergeant for my liking. However, Tim has been nothing but supportive and motivating. Summer's Fitness is the only gym I know of that gives me 24/7 access, unlimited fitness classes 6 days a week taught by certified trainers, help with my nutrition plan, and weekly measurements to keep me on track all for one low price. There is no sessions of bootcamps just a couple times a week either. Summer'sFitness247 offers challenging bootcamp style classes 6 days a week and at various times. Currently there are 15 total classes to choose from each week! This takes place year round! The encouraging positive atmosphere is the reason people try a class once and keep coming back. Stop in and get yourself set up with a class to try it out. First time visitors always get their first class FREE! Just call the office and let them know you'll be stopping in to start your fitness journey!
